This barber shop is great and where I’ll continue to go as long as I’m in Asheville. Issac gives me a great cut every time, even when Ive changed up the style, and takes tremendous time and precision with each haircut. The shop has a very relaxed vibe and both Issac and Marcus are incredibly personable. Highly recommend you check them out!

We visit Asheville yearly and this year, just by chance I year needed a haircut while in town. I was fortunate enough to call this shop and get a haircut from Isaac, whom did an excellent job with the haircut. The experience in his barber shop is one of a kind, especially for someone who has only used chain store hair cut shops. Everything from the chair you sit in to the hand razor finish trim that was done made for an authentic barber shop experience that I hope to have again soon. Next time I come to Asheville I will make sure to come ready for another cut!

Isaac will be my new barber..I have been to 5-6 barbers in the 3 years Ive lived here and I was convinced people just cant cut hair in Asheville..I FINALLY GOT A QUALITY FADE..Isaac took his time, held great convo, lined me up and used a straight razor to conclude the job..The atomosphere and location is perfect and everything you would want in a barbershop.. There have been multiple times Marcus has either come in early or stayed late to fit me in for a haircut, overall just a good dude who takes pride in doing a great job. My barber shop for the past 15 years closed so I had to try a new one. I really liked these guys. It had a real retro, old time barber shop feel with a modern twist. They are accomplished in the art of the straight razor and do both cuts and shaves. Their prices are fair. PLEASE Know, the day I was there, two of the seats were by appointment and only one barber was taking walk ins. A few customers were disgruntled because it seemed like they werent taking folks in order or quickly enough. Just ask and plan accordingly. And for the record, Ive never had so many positive comments on a haircut!

These guys should build jet engines. their attention to detail and surgical like precision is very welcoming in the world of fast turning bowl cut barbers. excellent scissor work, trimming and followed by a neck shave. $14 price is absolutely ludicrous for the attention and results. only downside is figuring out parking in the biltmore village.

While vacationing in Asheville I have tried this barber shop twice. First off, my time first time there Jamie Mills cut my hair. Best haircut/beard trim I have ever received. Good personality and he is very good at what he does. The second time was by the owner Isaac. He said come in at 8:30am on Friday and he would cut mine and my sons hair. We showed up at 8:20am and my son didnt get in the chair until almost 9am (I can live with that). I told Isaac to cut it like my style, he needs a hard part and a skin fade. After he was done and wanted me to look, he did neither of what I specifically asked. I asked him to put in a hard part and he put a half of one in and said thats all he should do because of his hair. Due to this and the overall look, I honestly did not want this guy cutting my hair. I asked him if he would be offended if I didnt get my hair cut because I was short on time (was trying to be nice not saying you didnt listen to anything I asked cutting my sons hair and I would rather you not butcher mine). He said that he would have to charge me half price. I told him to just cut it. Meanwhile he tells me that he is the owner and no one has ever done that to him and he will not let it start with me. Then he told me to tell my son to stop messing with that barber seat in the lobby that he was sitting in. That it was very expensive and that he doesnt need to be playing with it. I can say that Isaac may own the business but he is lacking people skills to properly run it. To top it all off, my wife had to make some additional cuts later to fix spots that he missed.(Could be because he felt rushed because he thought I was in a hurry) Definitely a cool spot and like I said, if you go...book with Jamie!

Took my husband for a cut as our reg barber was booked and he needed a cut bad for a special occasion. Everything was seeming ok but then at the end Isaac said Ill have you looking real sharpe next time, which in turn my husband asked why not now while im in the chair. And he said oh i would but ibhave an appointment in 10 min and pretty much kicked him out the chair!! Why would you take him then if you didnt think you were gonna finish the cut!!!!! Plus we called ahead of time and he said he had that time slot opened anyway!!! He didnt even blend the sides!!!! What a shame!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

These guys are full of it. Took my son for his first barber experience, so didnt want to make a scene in front of him. Sons was fine. I had longer hair as did my son. Told the guy not to take off too much and to leave the body and curl in the back. He proceeded to cut over 2 1/2 inches off, way to short and cut out all of the curl and body.... Exactly what I told him not to do...Told us one price on the phone, then AFTER the haircut, he raised the price $4 each....BUTCHERED my hair and switched the price... Absolutely will never go back and advise you stay away from those jokers.
