Moving from Indiana and Were considering these apartments as a option for my daughter and myself. Unfortunately they didn’t have any 2bdrms available but Andrea was extremely sweet and nice throughout the process. Hoping in the future to be a resident of Ridgewood Preserve.
UPDATE:: THERE HAS BEEN COMPLAINTS ABOUT RATS AND BAD FOUNDATION. I DOUBT THAT ITS ALWAYS ABOUT AN ANNUAL INSPECTION.. LOLTHIS IS THE 3RD TIME I CAME HERE TO VISIT A FAMILY MEMBER THAT I SAW ARLINGTON CODE COMPLIANCE!!! THAT TELLS YOU A LOT ABOUT THIS COMPLEX....
ANDREA in the office was super helpful! she makes sure that everything is in order for you. she is literally the best leasing person i’ve come across. thank you girl 😉!
Ive been here for almost 3 years maybe? And ms Mary has came in and been such a blessing !! She’s super nice, understanding, helpful and speedy.Maintenance ( Alfredo ) is always super nice and efficient when request are put in . It’s pretty Quiet, nice neighbors and a great place to call home.
The Management team. Of Mary and Andrea are outstanding and really professional thanks again
6 day without water. How am I supposed to pay rent with no water runningRent to expensive people don’t move here .
I have been living here since 2018 and I can honestly say management, Ms. Shana and Cecilia are both great!!!. The neighborhood is pretty quiet during night hours which I love... the property upkeep is always clean and landscaping is well kept. The apartments are close to a great elementary school for my daughter and my Neighbors are all respectful, nice and quiet which is a plus.
I have lived in this apartment for almost 4 years without problems. The leasing specialists are so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The people around here are so peaceful. This is HOME!If you are looking for a place to call A HOME, Look no further. :)
I lived here since May of this year. Had a bit of a bug problem but Id like to think the issue has been taken care of as I havent seen anymore in my particular unit. I mean I still see them outside but, thats where they belong...OUTSIDE LOL that being said I really feel like Ive been taken care of here and while I probably wont renew due to a possible job transfer, if that falls through the only place Id move to is a new unit ;)
I like Ridgewood Preserve, its in a really good location. The move in was no hassle. Miss Shauna and Miss Cecilia really helped a lot, explaining the details thoroughly and answering any of my concerns in a timely manner. And so far I love living here and its great.
Ive been living in these apartment homes for almost 6 years now. THEY ARE THE BEST hand down!!!!!!!....Affordable, Quiet, and Cozy.....Rarely have any problems in my apartment home and if i do the ladies at the leasing office and maintenance gets working on it ASAP. (Fred is the best maintenance, he gets the job done.) Rent here i promise you will not regret it...Proud resident of Ridgewood Preserve!!!!!
I lived here for a year and honestly who made me feel comfortable and always took WONDERFUL care of me as a resident was Ceilila. She is awesome in costumer service. I work as a leasing agent now and let me tell you Ceilia goes above and beyond for her residents and how apartments should be! The company should be very thankful to have her on their team! She always helped me the best way possible! Ask for her when you go in, she will take great care of you.
The worse apartments ever leaks in the ceiling the shower water is cold then too hot the rats play hopscotch from room to room. I was told to just set rat traps unreal! They should be paying me back my money for even staying here. I won’t be signing a new lease. Nice people some of the staff but that doesn’t make it right to live in these conditions. If I could have given no star rating I would have but it doesn’t give me that choice too.
Staff is very nice and friendly...Cecilia is the best...I have lived here for about 8 years and I love it. Property is nice and clean. Also very pleasant and quite.
Walked in to just get prices on the floor plans && was greeted by a awesome consultant Cecilia! She went above and beyond && even gave me a tour of the apartment && property!! She definitely won my business!!!!
Honestly, the furthest i have gotten so far was the application and tour and the experience was amazing. Ms. Cecilia in the office was super nice, helpful and welcoming. Even tenants that came in the office seemed pleased. When I first called in and had to have my call returned she called back in a timely fashion and was very informative. I am being helped with second chance leasing and was treated no less. They are so welcoming. Cant wait to call Ridgewood home
Awesome move in special! Cecilia sent me application and was approved the next day. Love her the sweetest!!! They Were so nice when I came to look at the apartment very informative, when my mom and I came to sign my lease they were very nice to my mom as well my mom really liked the staff and we loved my apartment the layout was nice, spacious front porch close to my boys school. Unlike the reviews of bugs haven’t seen not one bug. They keep the complex nice and clean. Dumpster trucks come daily which I like. Like the community cable and WiFi bundle at a affordable price. Love love our new home! My boys and I are grateful to had found this place with such a good move in special. Oh and btw the pool is AWESOME 😎
Ive been living here for almost 2 years and I really like it here. Management has always been kind and helpful. Problems or work orders always addressed promptly.
This is a great place to live. its a great location, the office personnel are very helpful and nice. i will be moving here when my lease is up.
I have lived here for over five years and the administration has always been very professional . A especially Mrs. Cecilia and she processes the maintenance request very quickly . Overall this is a nice and quite place to live.
I’ve never in my life viewed a apartment, and the complex had not cleaned the place for viewing, mind you this place I was told was ready to be rented. It was dead roaches everywhere, I was in totaled shock, Then to make excuses, oh it’s going to get cleaned up, as a Property Manager you should be ashamed of yourself. The property clearly have a problem with bugs, I don’t care about know 500.00 first month rent, or Zero deposit and Zero administration fee. I’m worried about them roaches.
I went in for a tour with Cecilia and she is just great. Very good vibe and very convincing, great office staff is a deal breaker for me!
The office staff was consistently nice and efficient for the entire time we lived there. We had no insect problems at all. No noise problems at all. Updates were done on the cheap and it shows. My only concern was when SWAT came to arrest a drug dealer neighbor but we had never seen sketchy visitors, so I guess he did his business elsewhere. And that was no fault if the complex
I lived in this complex for three years now and I could not be more disappointed than I am now. Management decided to have spectrum workers come out and do installments. They were suppose to be supervised, that never happened. In the process of them doing an installment in my unit, I was contacted by the office stating that Spectrum was having a difficult time getting through/into the attic. It was rescheduled for them to come back the following day. Following the installation, I saw that the brand new bedroom furniture that I purchased for my daughter was damaged. I was extremely livid. After speaking with Cecilia about it on a couple of different occasions, who is actually the one who called me at work telling me that Spectrum was having a difficult time, she asked me to forward her the photos so that she could see what she could do or if there was anything that could be done, as she recalls the situation vividly. I sent pictures in, I’ve followed up, and I have emailed the manager several times, yet to this day, she has not responded to me. I already pay more than I should for where I am living. I spend money purchasing my daughter a brand new bedroom set, which is now ruined, as a result of this complex bringing in Spectrum and not supervising. I have paid into this complex over $35,000 in the short time that I’ve been a resident and NEVER late on my rent, yet I have thrown money away on furniture that has been damaged and they could care less…..other than Cecilia (always helpful), who at least attempts. I’ve dealt with the loud music, the commotion late at night, sleep being disrupted when I have to work in the am, and more. So yes, I am very disappointed with Ridgewood and the lack of customer service. For the money that you will pay to stay here, you could find something better, and a place where you are appreciated as a tenant
Stay away from these apartments. There Is so many issues with these apartments, lazy staff, water leaks rats and ants. Its not worth the price these apartments are equivalent to a apartment in the projects. Also theres been a couple shootings over here. Run far away, dont waste your time or money here
Staff was so helpful and manager Shana was very pleasant and informative. Great place👌
I have been here 2 years I love Cecilia! She gets done whatever needs to be done! And she is the reason I am still here.. I bring a problem and she gets it solved ASAP.. Now the apts are pretty old so they do have alot of issues.. But all in all Cecilia is amazing to have as a Leasing Consultant!
Ridgewood preserve are some good and nice apartments live at there 2 wonderful lady sweet and nice to use we really happy where we are at come in check out RIDGEWOOD PRESERVE THEY GET 5 STARS FROM ME Ms Mary and Andrea are two wonderful people that is good Manager at Ridgewood Preserve
Ive been at this complex for 1year now and so far i can say i love it the office staff are so sweet and helpful .
The worst place to live, Ive been 3 months, I live on the first floor and there are cockroaches and mice. In the office they only told me that they can change my apartment and I have to pay more rent for something that is not my fault. The pests are horrible they have already sprayed and the problem continues. The news came and everything went on TV if you look for the news you can see the videos and photos of the rats and cockroaches. Dont waste your money
GREAT STAFF AND GOT ME IN MY APARTMENT FAST IM LOVING IT.......THANKS
Cecilia #1...i am thinking about comming back cz she es very helpfull and decent person
Its so confusing to me reading all these comments. I have been living here for five months and everyone has been so nice to me. The maintenance crew has been fast, I do understand that they prioritize in work orders. I do wish there was more than just a pool. Like a gym or park for the kids.
I love my apartment and the staff in the office is very heloful and good at working with people
Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for an apartment.... been here 4 years and trust me they dont give a rats A@@ about you or maintaining the property... but they will be more than happy to take your rent money every month and by the way they will increase your rent every time you resign your lease until its so high you can no longer afford it, then when you move out they will lower it back down and start over with the next Tennant. Everything is cheap cheap cheap, they make the outside look nice for appearance but be ready to share your place with roaches....they are everywhere, the pool is nothing special, all the locals jump in over the weekend with their clothes on, no bathing suit...... BE WARE
Have been here for over 2 years. The office staff is always inviting and the maintenance comes on time to me. No bug issues besides the spring critter camping outside on occasions lolAlways good parking!
Couldnt take a comfortable showers the water is either really hot or really cold there is no in-between. The water bill increased EVERY month making rent an additional $100 plus every single month. It literally increased every single month the entire duration of my lease agreement. The alliances are really old. The staff did a poor job at communicating with their tenants even before moving which was a red flag. Overall the amount that you pay here you could definitely get a better place a little ways down the road.
My first time getting an apartment and i know i made the right decision picking ridgewood. they had wonderful staff.
If you go further along Collins, you can find better and newer apartment for just the same price! Walls were thin and I can hear the running water from the neighbors, but that wasnt so bad. Everything is old, but there is new management and I can see some new changes. Lived there for 10 months and it was manageable. The long walks to the apartment was a pain though. It was ok, but there are definitely better apartments.
Great place to live very nice staff
First. I agree with Taylor, sort of. From the water to the pest. My pest dont seem to be as bad, thankfully! They are doing a heavy spray today I guess. So its frustrating to have to go home and re-wash all my dishes and such, but I would rather have the bugs gone.I live in the larger one bedroom. Its roomy. They work with people and second chance leases so that was nice. The grounds seem well taken care of and could be worse. The walls are thin and my ceiling creaks with every..single..step..my upstairs neighbors take. The office hours are pretty standard I suppose. Theres no drop box for rent and you can pay online but it will cost an extra $18 with your card. IDK if check is cheaper. The laundry card will cost $6.00 exact change. IDK how much goes to your card after that. I think $3? I can only get it on Saturday because of working and such. I wasnt told about then during move-in.I do feel like I did a lot of begging to get my bathroom to an acceptable level but once it was done I feel better. My neighbor told me she had black mold when her bathroom ceiling fell and they fixed it so i plan on doing my own air quality test to see if I have similar issues. Its not the worse place in Arlington Im sure.I feel fine living out my lease. The staff is nice and great about communicating through email with me which makes it easier.
Cant even get anyone to answer the phone
I have been living here 3yrs and never had a problem. I have noticed its starting to get a lil hood/rough around here. I got home last night from school and got my daughter in the house. After getting her in the house I come outside to my car being broken into. They stole all my Christmas stuff which was about 900.00 worth of items. I seen the man and he took off running. When following I didnt know where he went but seen some of my items dropped. I am getting the hell out of here. Other than that the staff is nice and sweet. I love Ceclia and always have she gets things taken care of all the time. But this I cant continue to live over here and have to worry about my home or vehicle.
The apartment staff is sweet and helplful. Ive been in the complex for about 6-7 months now and the only issue is the kids run around in the street because its so much open space to play. I have not experienced an pests, rodents or anything else like that. The apartment upon move in was neat, clean, and freshly re-pained with new carpet. The maintenance is on point, I put in a request at 12p yesterday and before i made it home at 630p, Jose had already completed my request. So far its been pretty quiet at night, Ive havent had any issues with complex or anyone messing with my property. Im satisfied thus far in my 2 bed room 2 bath.. It is the roommate style floor plan. They also switched to new management under Milestone Management. Cecilia is a sweetheart and makes sure youre taking care of.
Thanks so much! Will update shortly!!
I would give them zero stars but not an option. First, PEST have been an on going problem after the first week. We have literally tried everything and you can tell them to spray but they just come put the paper down and leave. You cant leave a glass of water out with them having a pool party in it. They are not limited to the kitchen either, they are in the bathroom area and dining area as well. Never had pest anywhere else in the past!Secondly, maintenance is slower than molasses. We said something about our stove not working a week before Thanksgiving... 2 weeks later we still dont have a working stove and you can imagine that gets expensive eating out everyday three times a day. Our garbage disposal wasnt working and it took a few days to get that fixed and we had to smell that for days.Cracks in the appliances and walls are starting to show, you can see where they just tried to paint over everything instead of replacing or fixing it.You never know if youre going to have a good or bad shower. Either the water is scorching hot or ice cold, there is no in between and itll change temperatures randomly while your showering, especially if your neighbor is showering. (And you youll know because you can hear them)The walls are paper thin so whatever your neighbors are doing, saying, watching on TV, you will hear. The people around love to play their music loud and yell outside at all hours of the night.Lastly, the staff in the office arent bad but they need to work on their online paying option. We paid online on time, they wait a week to take the money out the charge us for a late payment. They could make the laundry facilities feel a little safer, people sleep in there and its a little uncomfortable for us really in there to do laundry. The make you get a laundry card that you can only get during office hours so if you work during the same hours as them your just out of luck I guess. I work 10 -6 m-f, office hours are 10- 6 m-f.There are too many better apartments in this area for anyone to deal with all this! Dont waste your time or your money!!!
It’s a great place to live
Just saw a report on the news about how they allow their residents to live. Rats and roaches. Disgusting, inhumane and dangerous.
Currently living here and its crazy and sad. I hate I renewed my lease cause at the time I was having a baby in the same month that my lease was up. The rent is not worth the money and Im in a smaller one bedroom. I have complain to the staff about my upstairs neighbor who constantly walks thru out the night, stomping they didnt do anything multiple times. You can hear your neighbors shower. The water gets cold and hot while you are showering. The roof creaks like its about to fall in. I havent had bug problems lately thank god for that. The parking sucks cause people with no sticker still takes up the space and they constantly threaten with tow when I only saw the towing company 3 times since they gave us stickers.
There running scams in that office. And the new people that own these apartments are very rude. And doesnt seem like they care about there tenant. They will just walk in your apartment without you being there. Dont live here.
Don’t waste your money, this is the worst place ever i been . Look elsewhere for an apartment
Living here has been a nightmare. Ive had nothing but one problem after another.Roaches: From the start there were roach problems. The pesticide workers are rumored to only put papers on the counter. During the 3 months this problem persisted, the office would just put in an order for more pesticide. 3 months this didnt work. When they started eating my clothes I finally had to get my own pesticide to resolve the problem. Even then, the office wouldnt take off the charge they force you to pay for the non-working pesticide every month. The office did nothing.Noise: The walls are paper thin. If you live on the bottom floor the roof will loudly pop, snap, and crack whenever someone casually walks above you. If they turn up their T.V. or music, it sounds like you are in the room with them. The material is so thin that you can smell the pot they smoke or disastrous cooking. Loud is the theme here and it continues into the night. 1am, 3am, 6am, you will hear loud rap music and bass. Everyone is allowed to own up to 2 animals. The barking is constant as they all like to talk to each other. If you report it to the office though...nothing will happen. They dont do a single thing. My neighbors suggested ear plugs. When I reported them, I was threatened. The office did nothing. God help you if you work an overnight shift as you surely wont survive.Parking: Its everyone for themselves here. Despite there being a visitor parking and tags for residents to put in their windows, its not enforced. While not having a designated parking spot sounds like a small inconvenience that quickly changes when the Cowboys or Rangers are playing and people invite their friends over, meaning you will park on the street or halfway on the other side of the complex. Enjoy carrying your groceries from there.People: Multiple times Ive gone to do laundry and found homeless people sleeping there. Ive seen multiple fights in the parking lot, had my hubcaps stolen off my car, had my mailbox broken into and (twice) my packages were stolen. Even the cable is often stolen here. Will this happen to you? Maybe not. Could it? Most definitely.Maintenance: These poor guys are overworked. Part of it may be due to the fact that not only are they slow but they dont actually fix anything. During the winter my heater went out. It took them 2 weeks to fix it. It took them months to fix the hole in the wall they cut so I could have internet (I dont count ducktape as a fix). Ive been living here a year and the shower STILL randomly fluctuates from hot and cold water. Imagine waking up at 6am to get ready for work and not knowing if youll have a cold or hot shower?Staff: At best, the staff is polite when you speak to them. Thats where it ends though. Getting them to answer their phone is a Christmas miracle and a return call is nothing short than wishful thinking. All of the problems Ive stated were shrugged off or noted by the office. There is no compensation, resolution, or actual help. If apologies could fix problems this would be a great place as that seems to be their only ability. You will get the feeling you are on your own here. Dont expect any service. This place is honestly only semi-good at convincing people to live here but once you are moved in, good luck. You might not have the problems I had, but you will have problems eventually and the office will not fix them when they happen. If you get a problem and you try to reach someone outside the office, they tell you to contact the office or set up an appointment, but the office never gets in touch with you and they will tell you that appointments are only to view floor plans. People here pass the buck and are happy to notify someone else or tell you to notify someone else. Problems dont get fixed, they get pushed around.Do yourself a favor and dont move here. You deserve better. Anyone does.
This has been the worst place Ive ever lived (still, unfortunately, a resident). I have stayed in barracks and hostels in non-English speaking countries with more capable, caring staff. Originally, I was sold a studio apartment that a week before I was to move-in became unavailable. The current tenant had cancelled his 2-week move out notice because apparently you can do that at any time. Dont worry, they were able to come through with a more expensive one-bedroom that was available exactly the same time (what appears to be the old, highly illegal practice of BAIT AND SWITCH).Ended up waving my deposits, after multiple phone calls and incredible stress, to try and make it right. About a week or so from moving in, A/C dies (in July) and water pressure was awful. Im reasonable in understanding these things happen. Its the lack of care or urgency from the office staff that is the major problem. I had to almost sit-in protest the front office everyday for 5 days straight before they sent a maintenance person to look at it. One guy comes and looks (they only have two), says it will take too long to fix and its 4oclock so hell come back tomorrow. He didnt. The front office is continuously claiming that theyre unaware of things. Its their default excuse to say they didnt know, its your job to know, youre paid to know. Its been a few smooth months and now my bathroom has been leaking water from the A/C unit. Started on Saturday, its quite a bit of water so id consider it an emergency. Called the Corporate hotline and was hung up on, twice. Finally reach someone and explain whats happening, its 7pm, im told maintenance is busy and it will about 10pm when they are available to call me. I stay up until 11pm waiting (I work at 5am) and there were no calls, no knocks on my door. Mind you that I also placed a maintenance ticket in myself through their online resident portal which I dont think anyone looks at because MY CEILING IS STILL LEAKING AS I TYPE THIS!. Dont live here. Its not worth your nightmares being realized. The staff is clearly trying to just fill apartments and once your here under a lease, theyll basically ignore you.UPDATE:First post was 2 months ago. Its now October 30th. This place grows increasingly worse. Currently, ITS POURING RAIN IN MY LIVING ROOM BECAUSE THE SLIDING DOOR HAS SEPARATED FROM THE BUILDING! Call the hotline. Nice lady answers. Informs me she will call maintenance. I tell her its a waste of time. Maintenance never answers the phone. Proceed to hold for 10/15 minutes. Lo and behold, maintenance doesnt answer their phone. Once again, Im going to be up all night with no response from the property. I have work at 5am. Theyre keeping me from sleeping and are costing me more money than the rent that I dont feel I should be paying anymore. Feels like Im living in a sick social experiment.
These apartments are not good with handling rent online..im very mad/disgusted on the fact that i paid my rent n this was( my first month living here and paying rent online ) ok well like i was saying i paid my rent the 10 days later one of the workers emails me saying that they didnt receive anything and i made sure i paid it because i got my confirmation number nd everything saying I did..So when i called to see what was going on the manager answered rude of course saying that i needed to pay my rent if not she was going to take me out ..i explained to her i did pay it n she said that they did receive it by that they had sent it back to my bank account which was not true because I went to make sure what was going on in they said it was taking out bt never returned bk...so now they are asking me to pay it over again or else i had to leave. ... they even made my bank account go on negative :( i had recommend this apartments to friends and family bt after this not no more i told them what was happening nd they were dissatisfiedAll i ask is for the onwer to plz have time to look in to it or something because I did pay my rent even have prove...its not far for my baby n me n husband we havent even been here one whole month and look what is happening. ...smh.
My friend lives here and has for 3 years. A new tenant moved in and they smoke. Her apartment reeks of cigarettes. She talked to the front office about it and they have changed their policy since she moved in allowing smoking inside of the apartment. The ventilation is shared so she comes home to house that smells like a bar. Her health isnt the greatest and second hand smoke kills. I looked it up in Arlington and it states that unless both parties of shared ventilation agree to smoking then this is against the ordinance. Hmmmm
I HAVE LIVED HERE 5 WEEKS NOW AND I HAVE BEEN HAVING MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH CEILING LEAKS!!! I HAVE AN EXTREMELY LONG CRACK IN MY CEILING BETWEEN MY KITCHEN AND DINING ROOM AND THE LAST TWO MAJOR RAINFALLS WE HAVE HAD HAS BEEN A REALLY BAD THING!!! IT STORMED HALLOWEEN....FLOOR/CARPET WET!!! MUST KEEP A BUCKET IN THE FLOOR BECAUSE OF THE CEILING/ROOF LEAK!!LONG STORY SHORT.....SENT MANAGEMENT 4 EMAILS TO REPAIR, THEN CALLED THIS MORNING FROM WORK; BECAUSE AGAIN, LATE TONIGHT AND ALL DAY TOMORROW WE ARE EXPECTING HEAVY RAINFALL...AND I DID TELL THE YOUNG LADY THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE! SHE PUT IN A REQUEST TODAY....STILL NOTHING. HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM OR EVEN AN EMAIL FROM THEM!!! SO THEY GET YOU IN BUT DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR EVEN THE URGENCY WHICH IS AN EMERGENCY!!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
I will not be renewing my lease here, these apartments are poorly insulated and your energy bill will be astronomical.
Quiet
