I just moved in a few months ago. I love the location, close to the mall, on property gym, freeway is in a reasonable distance. My apartment is very spacious. The layout is awesome.The office staff Rashonda Wright is a plus she is awesome and very Professional. Thanks again

A very bad place, very old apartments. Service is very bad. This place if full of drug addicts, you will wake up and sleep smelling weed. If something breaks at you apartment they will not fix it on time work orders take weeks some time months. Mail delivery gets lost and stolen. Every single day there are police at this complex searching for wanted people. They rent to just anyone, no background check is done on tenants. Stay away, protect your family.

My Family and I have been here for 2 months and Im loving it! On the weekend its quiet. Our AC went out on Thrusday they came and fixed it the same day! I kept seeing spiders in our kitchen connected to the back patio, they sprayed it and now I havent seen any. If I do its dead by the door also flies, black Beatles. Its Diversity and everybody kind and speaks to one another. I only saw 1police patrol here but who doesnt? Be your own judge.Rashonda in the office is A1!! 🙌🏾 Shes so helpful and make sure everything is done as long you communicate. She even responds on the weekend!!

Ive NEVER lived here but have been trying to rent here. Today I see on their website that it says a 4 bedroom is available. I call and they advise it is available but they only work off of a waitlist. What is the point of saying that there is availability when there is none. The fact your waitlist is 4 months long. Why couldnt they just post waitlist open or nothing at all. The rest of the units say sign waitlist and this one says available. I felt I was being discrimated against. She said there is no units available

I applied for a unit on 7/10 with parkland pointe. On 7/27 they called with a denial after making me give a 60 day notice to my apartments. The rental criteria states they check the prior 12 months that they are second chance and if there is unverifiable rental history that they will still approve you with a deposit of full months rent. I was first told I was denied because I did not have 12 months of rental history since I owed a property and if I paid the past due balance to the property that I would be approved! Guess what??? I paid the property $500 out of my pocket all for them to say they could not approve me because they could not contact the property to verify rental history which isn’t even a requirement since I no longer owe the property. After writing the property manager Charlie reminding them of their own rental criteria he tells me if I bring in proof that I paid the property that we could move forward! Shortly after he wrote and said that I would have to pay my current property termination fees that aren’t even due until a month after the notice of termination. After sending him proof of what my property said that it wasn’t due until 30 days after and that the debt is not current and is not a part of the prior 12 months he completely stopped responding to me. I called corporate and spoke with Beth regarding my application and still haven’t heard anything back from the Property manager or corporate please don’t pay Parkland Pointe your money my application was discriminated against and I’m using all of my documentation on file to take the necessary steps against this shady company! I’ve lost unnecessary money and I paid them a money order for a deposit that they have to take 30 days to mail back to me! You guys are a joke and scam artist.

I applied for a unit and put a deposit down, after getting the run around for 3 weeks because staff never answers the phone or emails, I called and emailed constantly and I was told I didn’t make enough money! I had put my notice in at my current place so now I have to move with no apartment thanks to Parkland point. I have been calling and emailing to get my deposit back so I can find a new apartment but no one will respond! It’s sad how unprofessional the staff is and how they just let the phone ring ! I still haven’t gotten a response about my deposit at all! My friend had a similar experience with this complex. I would not recommend them to anyone and I am filing a report to the BBB! Don’t move here!

Today I visited the office to see Charlie about some missing information at my end. I am very bad with paper works but he taught me every single thing and gave me good details on my questions. Though i didnt go to him with prior appointment and in his Lunch Hour but her welcomed me and gave me full time. I am really very impressed with his Friendly Behavior and Professional knowledge. He is really a very good Guy.

A star is required to post a comment.I have always felt some type of way about living here; however, its been very mild. I have come to the understanding that this is a business that is open during normal business hours Monday - Friday and I guess on Saturday. Therefore the only way that I could come in to speak with someone is arriving to work late or leaving early. They are to be open on Saturday, but the staff that is there never knows anything or is not willing to assist. Recently they started allowing online ticket filing which I thought was great, but I had more closed tickets that were never completed. Now the online rent payment. :(! I have lived in my unit since 2008 and have always paid my rent early. With the new online payment we can only pay rent during the open period. I am not a fan of the new process. I have programmed myself to early bill pay so that I can properly manage my pay. There is not an effective way for me to manage pay with the changes. And I understand that is not your problem!!! Who will benefit from the changes made? The community or the business?

I am currently in the leasing process. All though extensive I enjoy coming back and speaking with the office staff. Ms. Tamika has been more than helpful and very understanding with my necessity to move. She has walked me through the application process and helped correct errors. I would have been overwhelmed if not for her. I have driven through the complex frequently in the last week to see the community and I am satisfied. There are kids on property but I didnt see anything of any concern. Every time I come into the office kids are playing in the pool so thats a plus especially since I have little one who love to swim. Overall the community seems quiet. Thank you so much and I look forward to leasing with you guys.

Parkland Pointe is an awesome property! The grounds are kept well, the management provides monthly activities, and the property is in a great location. I have especially enjoyed my interaction with Charlie, the manager, and Cipriana, the assistant manager. You can really tell they love the property and the folks that live here! They are always helpful and try to go above and beyond to make the tenants feel cared for.

One star is so much for these apartments. Its funny to see manager answering all these comments, I think he could better be working for the apartment community. Believe me, all the comments are true. Lets see if the manager can deny this:1. They created a game for the residents, toward a gift card price. Among other things, the residents that want to win the price, needs to write positive reviews on different apartments rating website.2. The gate doesnt work for more than 4 months. Since June, I still have the letter when they informed that are going to change the codes.3. Last week was a shooting in an apartments by a guest, guess what? maybe if the gate works....I can be all day writing about this, if you plan to move in, dont believe me, just take a moment and ask a few residents about their experience, take a tour for the apartment, see the trash, the dirty sidewalks, remember the gates are open, you can enter anytime. The apartments are in bad conditions, are not worth $1,000 a month, you can find a mobile home for less. Dont get excited with the photos on the website, take a look to the baseball court and the clubhouse kitchen. LOLCome on manager, Im lying?Why I still living here, I just need my lease agreement to finish, then I will be happy. :)

She was ABSOLUTELY polite, warm, understanding and helpful. she took her time helping me with my application process. Walked me through it, explained to me what i needed to understand and made the process very easy for me...ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

These are great apartments in a great area. The maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to issues. Not to mention The pool is nice especially during those hot Texas summers. I lived here years ago and the staff was not friendly at all. Im glad they have all new people because Charlie is cool and Yasheka took her time to make sure that I had the home I wanted as well as needed. By her being empathetic to my needs, I felt as if I could see myself actually living in a community such as this and I was RIGHT 😁 It has exactly what I want and that is whatever I need, in walking distance. I have loved my time here and definitely recommend it to others!!

If I could give this place no stars, I would. They flaunt that they are 100% but that is only because they are income based and are pretty cheap compared to everywhere else. But to be honest your better off paying more money some where else. My parents have lived here for quite some time and nothing has changed except for the management. They are so rude and do nothing to help you when you need it. How can you tell someone they cannot renew just because they didnt shake your hand? If you werent so rude then your residents would shake your hand. On top of that, no one watches there kids so they are always running around doing things they shouldnt be doing. The trash is also a big problem. People are too lazy to lift there arm a foot to put the trash in the dumpster so the trash ends up outside of it piled up to where you cant get to it. The gates never work and and maintenance request go unanswered. Being Assistant Manager for a property and in the industry for over five years, and this is unacceptable. If I was to act this way, I am sure I would be fired. If you want to have a enjoyable living experience, DO NOT LIVE HERE! JUST DONT DO IT!

Run run You are not allowed to have more than one visitor at your apartment at a time if so their vehicle will be towed. I am in a rental car because my car was total after being in a wreck. Today I came home in my rental I pulled in to unload the my groceries. I went to open the door use the restroom and check my apartment to make sure it was safe before I started to settle down and unpack the car. I was not in the house for no more than 10 minutes I came back and the towing company had towed my dang car off. Keep in mind there wasn’t any visitors parks available. I went to management and showed them how I was regersting the car every 24 hrs. Following protocol and Charlie said it was nothing he could do. That is a crock of mess. Now keep in mind It was register however it was not a visitor park to park in. So they towed the car.

They claim to be under new management but from the previous comments my experience was exactly the same. Charlie and Erica gave me and my husband the run around for almost 3 weeks. They never answered the phones and we got different answers about our application every time we spoke with someone new. This was a waste of 90 (app fee). We finally went in today to request that our deposit be sent to us via mail. Ive never known TAA to take almost a month to approve someone. Honestly I feel like they pick an choose who they want to rent to. Charlie and Erica are both unprofessional and they both lie with a straight face. I wish we would have listened to the other peoples experience before coming here. I advise anyone looking to move, to NEVER waste your time here. I hope corporate reads this comment and reach out to all that had a bad experience with this horrible office staff.

On this afternoon, I called the Parkland Pointe Apartments to request availability and pricing information for their units. I spoke with Cibriana and she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Cibriana was very pleasant and a joy to speak with. I have NEVER called or visited an apartment leasing office and received the 5-star treatment that was provided by this young lady. I told her that she should be given the job of TRAINING other leasing agents/consultants. I am still in AWE of her warm attitude and inspiring personality!

I called this office for leasing information and had a great experience dealing with the staff Jessica and Cebria. Cebria was very helpful on the phone and provided me with all information needed to apply. Unfortunately the unit I was needing was not available but Jessica was very patient and willing to try whatever she could to assist me and even offered to place me on a waiting list. Easy and great experience dealing with this office.

The water bills are ridiculously high, I have never had a water bill this high. It defenilty would like for you guys to work with another water company or do something about, Also can the management install individual submeters at each appartment so that we can compare their readings with the bill? You also need to let us know if the water bill includes charged for the swimming pool water.

I contacted this complex today and spoke with a young lady, I do not remember her name but she was great, I received the best treatment since I have started apt hunting. She helped me put in my application and she even stayed late to help me with making the payment for the deposit. If this complex is anything like the young lady working there today then I think dealing with management is going to be great. I worked with Cipriana the next trip to the complex and it was great. I got the apartment and thier staff was helpful through the entire process.

This is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in!!! There is no security or covered parking. ALL of the kids are left without adult supervision. They climb on your car, throw food on your car and spray the cars with water guns. They play everywhere in the apartments EXCEPT in the Park area. If you have a nice car do not move here!!! It will get abused by the bad ass kids!!!

Management put me through collections saying I owe them $2500.00 dollars for not giving notice of non renewal, even though I submitted in writing that I wouldnt be renewing my lease and moved into another apartment a month later. I am currently disputing their claim but not too sure how it will go since Im sure the management falsely opened this claim. They even tried to get 35 dollars out of me for blinds that everyone, including my neighbors, got for free, even the maintenance crew told me in broken English that it was at no charge.

Parkland pointe is a safe environment for my family, the office staff really goes out of their way to meet the needs of the residents. Charlie and yushecka really care for the property and concerns of its residents by always listening and problem solving. I really want parkland pointes upper management to give the maintenance guy Micheal who goes by mike a raise. Mike is very professional and acknowledgeable about any issue that may occur when fixing maintenance problems. He was professional I felt comfortable with mike he answered quick and fixed the problem very fast and accurately and most importantly he cares for the safety and well-being of the children playing around the apartment complex. A lot of people drive really fast here and on multiple occasions I have witnessed mike looking out for the children of the apartment complex riding bikes or just playing out side when cars are flying by. Mike is a valuable asset to parkland pointe knowing he cares about the children and issues of the complex mike deserves employee of the year and needs to be highly recognized.

I have uploaded a video, showing how they tow cars carelessly. These guys are colluding with the towing company tow for a commission. Meaning that they get paid per vehicle towed.Learn to respect other peoples properties. People spend a lot of money to buy cars so respect them. Stop colluding with towing companies for kickbacks.

Id like to comment and add something to some of the reviews Ive seen on here. I lived here in 2011 and it seems as if nothing has changed other than the staff (who was rude back then and apparently still rude now...theyve just added lying to their list.) The gates here have NEVER worked...in 5 years. Its hilarious that the manager gets on here trying to defend it and say they were damaged by cars. I guess the gates have been damaged by cars every day, every week and every month for the past 5 years. What a joke!! And the maintenance?? They are even MORE of a joke. I had submitted several requests to get my AC repaired (which by the way, it will NEVER get cool enough during the summer in the upstairs portion of the town homes) and it took them two weeks to get to my apartment because it wasnt life threatening but 100 degrees in the middle of July. Theres tons of people on housing assistance here and kids constantly running throughout the parking lots. Trash was also seen all over the premises on a daily basis. I had been back to visit a friend who unfortunately moved here and had the same issues I did. Oh, also, whens the last time your pool was up and running? Do NOT move in here! DO NOT!!! Oh, one more thing. The complex sent me to collections for $4.28 WITHOUT even notifying me of a charge after I moved out. How is that even legal?! I went and paid them their $4 ... in pennies. This property needs new management ASAP.

The staff is very rude and unprofessional. very pleasant moving you in while lying about amenities of your actual apartment compared to the model. We literally had a rat infestation they refused to acknowledge as an infestation to avoid moving me without charge. I had to call corporate in California and threaten calling the news station to get results and released from my lease without penalty like they attempted

Ok... where do I start. Maybe as a Veteran I am too picky...🤔... Ive been living here for 4 years from old management to new management, to new new management. When we first got here the violence was minimal.... but from multiple gun shots reported to a whole man being shot and killed literally 2 doors down from me has us severely worried.Maintenance has gotten much better but still may take a couple weeks to get minor stuff down. Half the houses have fences and the other dont...All that I have mentioned aside, why I would NOT recommend moving into Parkland Pointe is due to their Pimp and Hustle Car towing services they provide. They make it seem as if they are not in bed together, but strangely allow the towing company to literally follow behind you to your spot to inspect your vehicle for the taking.... in the 4 years I have lived there I have had my car towed 4 times. 2 times with the sticker in the window. 1 with the handicap decal sitting on the dashboard and this last one is because my autocorrect on my phone changed up a few digits on the license plate. Forget the fact that the year, date, make, model, color and location of the vehicle was all matching... I get the standard... there is nothing we can do response. 2 of them clearly, could subjectively be my fault but regardless of you are wrong or right YOU WILL have to pay $300 to get your car out.... so be careful living here. Management clearly does not care or in bed with the tow truck company. The 4 years I have lived here parking had NEVER been an issue but you can literally have your car towed if you are in the right or wrong just to line up someones pocket.

I was very anxious about getting information on this property. Based on what I saw on the website, the townhomes look spacious and had a reasonable price. I called several times but no answer. I can literally say I have been trying to get ahold of someone the past two weeks, between the hours of 8-5. Unfortunately, no answer! Ive concluded if Im already struggling to get ahold of someone now that I dont live there, imagine once Im a tenant. Very disappointed, hopefully, they get better staff who are attentive to the phones which would bring future residents.

I dont understand people who never lived her complaining.we have lived her 4 years, and we love it. the new office staff is friendly and they seem to really care about our jobs in the apartment. the maintence guys do there job good. there are a lot of kids out, but the office sends out notices and i know because they gave my neghbor a violation. i will renew my lease when it comes up again.

I sent my adult daughter in to get a brochure and rental application for us to complete. She was assisted by Erica, the leasing agent, whom she says was very welcoming, nice and very informative. Erica explained the application could be completed online. We filled out the application online on Friday and went into the office on Saturday morning about 10:30am with fees in hand. Erica wasnt in however, Cipriana, the assistant manager was. Since the leasing agent wasnt in at that time, I expected to just leave my documents and come back at a later time when the leasing agent would be available. That was not the case. Cipriana explained that she could assist us. I hesitated because it was a Saturday morning, she was working alone and it would be going above and beyond her normal duties. She explained it was no problem, asked us if wed like coffee and had us take a seat. She carefully and patiently explained everything in detail. My daughter, being a young adult, had many questions on the process as she has never had to go thru the rental process before when she was a minor. Cipriana answered every question in clearly and in detail giving her a full understanding. Shortly after we began, many people began to come into the office for many different reasons: Lease renewal, seeking a unit, copy of existing lease, problems with their gate access and picking up packages.. With every customer, Cipriana excused herself, took the time to hear their concerns, address them and provide them with a satisfactory resolution in a timely manner. My daughter whispered to me (mom, shes handling all of this like Superwoman!). I admire her patience and professionalism with each customer. A lady had come in seeking a 2bd unit. I overheard the conversation. Cipriana explained what she had available, the cost and the dates available. The customer asked Cipriana the same questions a few times.. I thought to myself I couldnt do her job, I dont have the patience! However, at no point did she become impatient or even try to rush the lady off.. I admired that and thought I wish everyone, including my self were like her. In the end, Cipriana completed all of our paperwork and gave us our new address pending approval.I have been apartment searching diligently for a month and I have dealt with several companies. I have NEVER met anyone so warm, comforting, informative, and patient as Cipriana. I have found units that I fell in love with but decided not to proceed because of the way I was treated. I feel like if Im treated like this now, I can imagine how I would be treated as a tenant. Some people dont want to take the time to LISTEN to your needs or give you the information asked. Several places will direct you to their website for questions (that are not on their website) or will not listen when you explain your needs and give wrong information. Example: Im looking for a 3bd downstairs unit... Yes, i have a 3bd unit... Is it on the first floor?... No, its on the second floor...After our interaction with Cipriana, my daughter and I want to call this place Home .In addition, I have read some of the comments left by other/previous tenants.. While I was there, I was able to see several tenants come into the office. All of different ages and ethnic backgrounds. Them being a reflection of the tenants living on the property, I would gladly have them as neighbors.

Moved into these apartments summer 2016 worst place i have ever lived and i cant waite until my lease is up. Moved into these apartments nothing but trouble like crime rate shooting and now they have the nerve to be removing the privacy gates in the back of the town homes because of poor maintenance in which i would assume is the apartments job i have small babies who play with their toys in the back gated area and patio furniture as well as other things now im gonna have to find a storage for my things so no one steels them if your planning on moving here dont bother its a waste of time and money worst decision i ever made.

This place is a complete NIGHTMARE!! I put in for maintenance two weeks ago and still no sign of maintenance my garbage disposal is broken and backs up anytime I use my dishwasher gross. I had to hire someone to replace the lights in my kitchen because I was tired of cooking in the dark yes in the dark the the light over the stove just doesnt cut it. People how hard is it to put your garbage in the trash can its constantly overflowing even when its not theres still garbage around the trash cans its an eye sore and I refuse to have anyone come visit because its embarrassing!! Dont move here I was promised certain things would be done before I moved in and NO they were not done. Im not on any assistance and pay my rent on time. We shouldnt have to live like this nor should anyone else.

Assistant manager and reception were pretty professional, even when i ran into hiccups they did everything in there power to get me approved however i was still denied. The only problem i have with this property was the actual apartment manager Drew. I am on housing due me being a DISABLED VETERAN and my continues wait on the VA so due to that i had to break my previous lease(not on my credit) long story short they did a rental verification and previous manager understood my circumstances, well drew denied me because of that. I actually read the rental verification from the previous manager and it stated that i gave notice but broke my lease. Drew stated that i didnt give notice, i broke my lease etc... I even offered double deposit. My portion of the rent was only like 50 dollars but he wouldnt move. I had already had a payment plan with the other guys but that still didnt move him. I am Disabled Veteran that the rights and freedoms of America but can catch a break nowhere. It aint that Im trying to not handle my responsibility, i have a payment plan with them to pay them off but just a life lesson. Thats my experience.

I moved in February 2016 and still havent had maintenance fix or replace the dishwasher... I had a week vacation going out of the country and my babysitter had her car towed due to exceeding her visitors registration online ??? Staff members are just rude... I had to contact a lawyer for them to fix my AC in the summer.. the worst place ever.. I talked to neighbors and they complain about maintenance never fixing backed up toilets broken AC I have put over 7 worked order for the same thing to get fix and nothing has been worked on !!

Me and my husband been only living at parkland pointe for about a month and its been nothing but problems here the staff Jessica is very loud and rude everytime I put a work order in I always have to call to see wen there comin me and my kids been getting bit since we moved in these townhouses and I discover that they had bedbugs in and under the carpet and I also found weed under the carpet this is the worse place I ever lived at i contact BBB and also the health department im takin them to court to get all my money back because they breach the contrast by lyin to us about everythin in this apartment this is not a gated community and the staff are not nice there rude dont move in these apartment there nasty as hell and bedbug infested

They never fix anything unless youre getting government housing which in that case you can report it and they wont get their money which is sad because the people that pay are the ones that dont get anything fixed they always try to find a way to tell your vehicle and get money and lastly they are very rude avoid this place at all cost
