I’ve never gone anywhere else because the first time I took my vehicle here I was so relieved by their honesty. When it comes to car repairs it’s very easy to take advantage of me because I have no clue about any of it, but they are always super helpful in finding the most affordable way for me to get done what I need. In the past at other auto repair shops I’ve really been taken advantage of and told I need repairs that I actually did not need...I’m glad when I take my vehicle in to this place I never have to worry about that. I just had to get my AC fixed as well as new tires, they were quick, professional, accommodating and affordable and I am so grateful.

Todd has been nothing but a blessing when it comes to repairs on my vehicle. Most of the time they pop up out of nowhere and he gets me taken care of much quicker than anyone else, at a very fair price. American Fleet and Auto has a lifetime customer in me. I couldnt recommend it enough. I use it for my personal vehicle and for our work vehicles. Todd and his staff do an exceptional job and exceed all expectations.

Went in for oil change and to check a tire that had a slow leak. Todd said hed find the problem for the leak and they did and fixed it. They had me in and out in about an hour for the oil change and tire repair as I waited for my vehicle. The waiting area is comfortable, plus I had the benefit of his puppy in that morning, so I got to play tug and retrieve with him!

They have been very professional in dealing with a nagging issue on my trailer.

I have brought me vehicles here a few times and have always been very satisfied with what has been done. Once they helped by pressing bearings in a wheel hub and another time with a brake line issue. Will go back there.

The guys at American Fleet came highly recommended from my elderly neighbor, he has worked with them for many, many years. They did a fantastic job offering me options to fix my busted exhaust. I opted to not replace the entire exhaust system so they only replaced a 2 ft piece of pipe and the bill was very low.Pomps Tire staff recommended I go there and I respect Pomps and the work they have done locally for decades. Todd and his team are experts in auto repair! My AC in my car was out for about three weeks and you can imagine the past few weeks in May we’re skulding hot in the car. I wasted so much of my time and research trying to do it myself. They have special equipment they use, it ended up being an electrical issue. 2015 Nissan Altima I drive.

Todd and Brett are amazing. I’ve had problems with my 2004 Tahoe that several other repair shops could not figure out. They worked with me to correctly diagnose and fix the problems right, and at an affordable price. Brett dug into my trucks computer control system and corrected issues that no other Repair shop could including the dealership. I would send my daughter or girlfriend here with their cars without hesitation.

Todd is not only a skilled auto technician, but a very conscientious business owner. He told me what should be fixed right away, and what could wait a bit longer on both of the vehicles Ive brought to his shop. I will continue to recommend him to my family and friends when they need a good (and trustworthy) mechanic.

They did a great job on my truck. They were honest and told me what I am going to need fixed soon but that it was not something that needed to be done that day. They also gave me a price so I knew what I am looking into in the next month or so. They were fast and did a little extra from what other places have done before.

Dishonest. Terrible customer service.My car was overheating this summer and I brought it in to have the thermostat replaced. A few months later, my car was overheating again! I called them and let them know I’d like to give them the opportunity to “make it right”.Todd told me he’d call Bergstrom for the part we needed and call me back with a date that I can bring my car in. 2 weeks later, my car is severely overheating. I called and asked if my part had ever delivered. Todd BLAMES IT ON BERGSTROM for never calling him back. Does not take ownership or apologize to me. He tells me I can come in and they’ll top my car off with coolant for the time-being.Then he orders the part (it’s the housing now that is the issue) and tells me I can come in NEXT WEEK and pay FULL PRICE.At this point, I’m beyond suspicious. I call my brother who is a mechanic and ask him to take a look. He says they installed the thermostat incorrectly (did not push it down far enough before screwing it in) which caused the housing to crack.Needless to say, I canceled my appointment with American Auto and will never go back to them again.It’s one thing to make a mistake. It’s another to not own up to it and take advantage of people who aren’t trained mechanics.

Todd does excellent work. Weve taken many vehicles to him over the past eight years or so and have always been pleased with the results. Todd provides great service for a fair price. Hard to do better than that...

The customer service was splendid and they were highly informative. We were provided a $2,500 quote on one of our vehicles from another shop so my husband decided he could do the work himself for a fraction of the price and went in search of parts. When doing so, American Fleet recommended he bring it in for review as it may not need the suggestion and when we did, American Fleet provided a diagnostic mirroring the data our Drivewise reported and repaired our vehicle for HALF of the other shops quote! What I found most impressive was the fact that I showed the other shop the Drivewise report, they wrote the codes down and STILL provided an incorrect estimate! But American Fleet was not shown the report yet used the EXACT SAME verbiage Drivewise had! Upon completion of the work, American Fleet said its a good thing you brought it in because thats NOT AT ALL what was wrong with your vehicle so you wouldve been out of a whole lot of money for nothing. And they were right! The work that was done by comparison to what was suggested was far less intensive and clearly less expensive!Thank you American Fleet, well be back!

I was told to try American Fleet from a friend...Todd was great...being a women, I am often told information that is incorrect or mechanics just trying to pad their wallets. Luckily I am a little versed on mechanics or auto repair, and rarely believe what needs to be fixed. Todd only charged me for what truly needed repairing. Big retail mechanic shops are about volume & dont care abt customer service. American Fleet is smaller and their name is on the line....I have another appointment set up in a week for my other vehicle...😀☺

Im a girl that knows nothing about cars or how to fix really anything on there LOL Todd is absolutely amazing ... great prices and gets the job done right the first time... he is somebody that you can trust.

I had the heads redone on my vehicle and a little over a year later the vehicle is burning oil, most likely caused by the head seals leaking. When I paid $1700 + to have the job done, they (Todd) explained that they would stand behind their work for the life of the vehicle. I should have gotten him to write this down. When I called recently he explained that their work and parts is only covered under a 12 month warranty. He also tried to make other excuses of why the oil was burning and would be happy to further investigate and charge me for it. My new ( very trust worthy) mechanic was pretty convinced that this oil burning would most likely come from leaky heads. American Fleet is not a trustworthy place. Check out Kimberly Service for a REAL honest mechanic. Steve will get you what you need at a fair price and wont sell you anything more.

Ive had a a nagging problem with my Hyundai Genesis causing it to lose power and the check engine light would come on, but then go away. I took it in to B**gstrom, and they charged me $150 to tell me that there was nothing wrong with the car. The next time it acted up, I knew I wasnt going back to the big guy in town, so I asked friends who they recommended. American Fleet came to the top of the list, so I called and talked with Todd. I knew from the phone conversation that he was going to be a trustworthy mechanic that would get the job done well so I didnt have to continue having problems and throwing money down the tube. A tuneup and Throttlebody Sensor later, and my car is running great! Cant recommend Todd enough. Thanks!
