To be polite, my experience with Pomps Tire Service in Appleton, was very disappointing. The tires I requested (Goodyear Endurance ST225/75R15/10) for my travel trailer were out of stock and had to be ordered. No problem. The tires installed were not the same as ordered, and had a load range rating more than 3000 pounds less than what I required! Potential accident waiting to happen! Tried selling me a different brand of tire that was more expensive but much better than the Goodyear Endurance tires, for the same price. Nice try. Salesman said the Goodyear tires I needed were no longer available. I told him I would go elsewhere to find them. 3 minutes later he found some in the system. Surprise! After these tires were ordered and eventually installed, I went to pay him. And of course, the price had increased $80 since the quote I received 2 weeks earlier. We negotiated and made that $80 go away. Never again.

The Staff and Mechanic at Pomp’s on Wisconsin Ave in Appleton are extremely helpful and won’t charge for anything that does not to be done! I thought I had a brake problem and when they tested it they said my breaks were just fine! Saved me lots of money! These guys are the BEST! I recently bought my 2nd set of tires from them. I shop around, and although it can be difficult to compare apples to apples, and they might not be the cheapest, but they are competitive and more important, THEY PROVIDE EXCELLENT SERVICE! EXCELLENT!!! All my rotations and tire repairs are free and they can always accommodate my crazy schedule. Ive started going there for my oil change (which is substantially lower in price - synthetic), and I just had them replace my front breaks for a competitive price. I dont know all the names, so I apologize if I can only say, Thanks Zack and gang!

We purchased a garden wagon/seat for our mom for mothers day. It arrived with two flat tires. We took the tires to Pomps and they had new tires installed the same day. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant and courteous!

They got me an appointment in two days when other businesses werent even answering their phones. They were all exceedingly courteous, their prices were more than fair, and my car is running great. I even had a wonky sensor that registered low tire pressure no matter what and I thought it was a permanent defect because it continued after all other car appointments but Pomps fixed it! Great eye for detail and exceptional consideration. I have nothing even remotely negative or neutral to say...Im going with them for my next oil change and tire needs for sure.

Pomps charged me more money than they said they would and damaged my wheels.When I brought in four new tires to be mounted and balanced they gave me a price of $80. When I picked them up the cost was $100. Pomps told me that they were low profile tires and that is why the bill was more. But when calling them earlier in the day to schedule, I told them the tire size. And that was a low profile tire size. So then why was I told $80?While I was paying for them I asked if everything went okay and was told yes by the counter person. When loading them, I noticed some scratches on one of them that were not there when left. The guy told me that they were already there. He even pointed out one fly speck chip that I had previously known about as if this was to rationalize their far greater damage. Notice this was after I paid my bill? Perhaps that is how these people operate.When I got home, the old adhesive from the glue-on wheel weights had to still be removed. Yes, Pomps did not do that. I carefully removed the remainder of the adhesive and found that the paint underneath was gouged by their careless technician while removing the wheel weights. This was done on all four wheels and can easily be seen from the outside of the wheel.Not only did Pomps mislead me on the cost, my virtually perfect wheels were damaged by Pomps. Needless to say, this was a very bad experience.

Got me in right away, diagnosed the problem, and fixed in the same day. Professional and courteous.

I brought my Honda Odyssey in for a tire rotation and had them check one of the tires for a slow leak. They found the issue with the tire and fixed under warranty. They were ready at appointment time and completed the work quickly. Very satisfied.

Brett & his team at Pomp’s are exceptional!! A couple years ago we had just left the foot surgeon for an appt after my husband had a horrible crushing foot accident. They were talking amputation. I was devastated & on our way home our tire started to make a clunking noise & leaking air. It was a huge bent bolt. We were able to make it to Pomp’s on Wisconsin Ave in Appleton. I cried....Brett was so calming & said ‘We got this...it’s only a tire’! Plus my phone battery was about dead. He brought me his personal charger. We have never forgotten this ‘once in a lifetime ‘ moment at the right place with the right person at the right time! We buy our tires from Brett & oil changes, etc & always have that special bond!

I had been going to a dealership because of the warranty. At the last oil change the dealership told me I needed new brakes. When I came to Pomps 5000 miles later I asked them to check the brakes. Brakes are at most 50% wear. You can trust Brett and the guys at Pomps. I won’t take my vehicles anywhere else.

I have had my oil changed routinely since I started driving, as well as other car maintenance and repairs when needed. Every time I am satisfied with the service. I dont know a great deal about cars, but whenever I have an issue they are able to explain what is going on as well as repairs to fix it. Would recommend to those looking for a trustworthy mechanic shop with excellent staff.

Great people to deal with sell everything from Firestone to Brigestone to Goodyear you name it they find a way to help you with the right price. Sure better than Firestone in the city. Will be bringing all my business to them for my six automobiles.

I have gotten tires here for about 5 years now and always have great advice on which ones make the most sense. They seek to help get you the right tires for your needs and not just the most expensive ones. Their prices have also been lower than others when I have had other estimates provided from my car dealership when having other service done. They are great to work with.

I had an issue with a tire losing air and stopped in on a Saturday & talked with Brett Brecklin. He inflated it & told me about filling them until he could set a time on the following Monday AM & fit me in at 8:00. The tire was fixed & the tire alert was set correctly. I have had no problems since. He was amazing & I have recommended your location to several others.

This morning I blew a tire on my way to work. They were able to get me in over lunch, patched the tire and made sure all of the sensors were working properly on my vehicle in less than an hour. They even moved a chair outside for me to enjoy the nice weather while I waited!

Came in today with a low tire pressure light and they squeezed me in and had me on my way! Super friendly! I will be back!

I cant Thank these gentleman enough! I am home visiting my family while my husband is deployed. I had a break light and ABS light out on my truck! They were extremely helpful and spent time showing me what was wrong with it. They explained to my husband what was wrong so he knew I wasnt being taken advantage of. They also offered us a military discount!!! (Always a plus). With 2 kids under the age of 4 and a husband that is deployed I am extremely thankful for their help and understanding!!!! Got a great deal on my tires and will keep coming back to these guys for sure!! Recently, I got a flat and they repaired it for no charge. I couldnt get back over to the store until 5 minutes before closing time (on a Friday no less!). I felt awful for making them stay later than they had to, but they sure didnt make me feel like I had to feel bad! They always take care of me and my car.
