Made appointments for myself and 4 girls (for my daughter’s birthday). When we arrived nobody seemed to recall that we HAD an appointment. We were taken as First Come First Serve…. just like everyone else. Normally I would not have minded at all! However, it was a Friday evening and the place was packed! We had to wait 10 minutes and then they called the girls back one by one. I also had an appointment for a Pedicure at the same time they were supposed to be getting manicures. The girls were done before I had even started… so I did not get a pedicure!

Got me in right away and my service was AMAZING!! The best experience I have ever had with my nails!

Honestly not too pleased with my nails.. first the acrylic nail ripped my real nail underneath which I had to heal for about a week to get it fixed, then it ended up just taking the real nail off all together. & While I was there it happened to someone else too! 🤦‍♀️ Now I have another nail just hurting like crazy 😭😭 I just want them off! I give three stars because these lady’s are nice!

Rachael #5 is awsome great with designs and if u have a way u prefer to have your nails shaped shes the one she will be able to fully understand what u want if told . Since the pandemic things have been tight ive checked for coupons bet yet to find one. No savings but friendly costumer service.

Lily Nails is my go-to salon for pedicures and the occasional manicure. I’ve been there for both my sister’s wedding and my own, and now use them for a pick-me-up!They are conveniently located and get your in quickly. They honor the appointments that they’ve booked by phone too.Their rewards program is also a plus!

Only place worth going to especially as a male and getting a pedi.... these ladies are AMAZING and ALWAYS a great time!

I was recommended to lily nails by a client of Rachel. She had nothing but good things to say and beautiful results to see. I thought Id give it a try myself; the scheduling process was easy, everyone at the salon was kind, and of course Rachel did an amazing job.

I just got my nails done today and I came in with a gift certificate. The lady doing my nails asked if i wanted shellac and I said I didn’t, I just wanted a manicure since i only had a gift card... After finishing my nails, which were done good, she took my certificate and said i had to pay another $20! She was trying to charge me for shellac when i only asked for a normal manicure. Luckily my nails are well done and i only had to pay $5 for the flower i got.

I got fills done first time here. Everything was going great until the owner came over to finish my nails. When it came to the top coat i wanted matte but as you can see, she didnt cover all my nail. And when she massage my hands she was rough. Honestly i mostly will not come back.

The staff here is great! They do an excellent job and dont rush.

They Were so rough that my fingers hurt after. I found a cut on one of my fingers where the manacurist dug her nails into my finger. Plus, I asked for powder dip, and they didnt listen. I wont go back.

Ive always had nice service and wonderful people to do my nails. My favorite is Melissa because she takes her time, is very sincere, and personable. They all remember my name and have me programed in their phone to who I am! Sure, they laugh and talk in their own language, but I dont care. I believe its a beautiful language. They do let me know what they are talking about if I looked at them weird and they do like to talk business in their native tongue, too. I think their rooms could use a coat of fresh paint and be updated. Their wax room does need to be cleaned with a fresh coat, but I wont do wax, again. It hurts too much. I dont think they need the TV on all the time. I believe just relaxing music would be nice and keep the TV on mute. Otherwise, I love going there due to the nice job on my nails and the culture.

My grandmother and I used to go here a lot about two years ago, but we have since stopped. We used to be treated very great, I would say they were slow at putting acrylics on and they didnt look the best, but the professionalism and hospitality was there. (I also waited there at one point for about an hour and a half to get my nails done, while my grandma and sister were getting theirs done. I am honestly not sure why it took so long). We have since stopped because, I believe it was the owner, dug through my grandmas purse when she was paying. She said, Give me the money grandma. and No card, I need cash grandma. She would probably still have our business if she wouldnt have acted rude towards us. I go to TK nails in Ankeny now.

AMAZING. I went to get my nails done for prom and they turned out EXACTLY how I was picturing them in my head. The staff was super nice and wanted to make sure I was 100% satisfied before I left. Lilys is THE place to go for your nails.

I’ve been to several nail places here in Ankeny included the popular Nail’D It and Lily Nails has by far been my favorite. I’ve never gotten my fingers hurt (which is a first for me since someone always seems to shave my nail too far down or nick my skin) and they get the almond shape just right for me. One of my favorites is May! She’s easy to talk to and listens to my concerns :)

The people who work here genuinely like their jobs and are very creative and meticulous about their work making sure you’re in love with your nails before you leave. DO NOT GO HERE THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!! So to start with I made an appointment two day in advance for 12:00, I got there five minutes early the day of and they didnt get me in until almost one. Once they actually got me in they were extremely rude, I got hey you hello. The lady that did my nails was super rough and gouged the nail drill into my cuticles several times and then then when I asked for a little bit filed off, took my nail down to where it was super short and some of them were filed at an angle!! More acrylic was applied and it looked horrible I mean it looked like I was trying the whole bubble nail thing it was so thick and it didnt even fill in the whole gap. When it came to painting I picked out my colors off those nail discs, she didnt tell me it was gel and was a lot more expensive. So what I was told would be $20 turned out to be $40. When she started to do the design she couldnt even draw a heart, so I left. Less than eight hours later a lot of bubbles formed in the polish and it was already chipping so I had to get them done again the next day somewhere else. When I asked for my money back I got attitude and told no. Two days later I had to have the acrylic removed because they messed up my nail beds. In conclusion I would seriously rather have bamboo rods shoved between my finger nails than go here ever again.

I hate to be “that person” and say negative things online, but I would not suggest going here for any type of manicure. The place is clean and the staff is friendly usually, but they’re rushed. My nails are destroyed after getting a full set. They filled down to the skin in my nails. When I went to get them removed, the lady doing my nails was trying to rip them off because she said it was her lunch break and she wanted to take a break.I will say I’ve never gotten a pedicure here and I don’t think they do a bad job at those. I just feel like I wasted a lot of money just to have my fingers hurt. Will definitely be going somewhere else in the future.

They said they could get my nails in after I came in towards closing which was nice. After I explained that I wanted tips and showed the picture she proceeded to just do a manicure. After I corrected her she got mad and shoved the boxes of tips in my hands and told me to pick. She was very rough and I noticed that I had cuts after she was putting the gel on my nails and my fingers burned very bad to the point where I had to stop her for a minute. She said that was normal and was very rude the whole time and was in a hurry to get out of there. The whole time she was talking to her coworker behind her very loud in their own language which was annoying and I could tell they were complaining about me. As she was painting my nails she was in such a rush the lines were very crooked and sloppy. When I was drying my nails she took my wallet out of my bag and opened it and pointed to my credit card and said this? I said yes and then she told me to be careful with my nails because I had to leave and couldnt finish drying because she wanted to leave. BAD EXPERIENCE.

My first complaint is I was made fun of for what I wore. Im from Southern Indiana. We wear camo. They would look at me and say a few words and giggle. My second complaint is my nails are too small and dont fit my fingers! Ive only had them done for a week and 4 have come off already! I have two or three more about to come off! My paint on my nails was done horribly. You can see through the color! Ive gotten better nail polish at the dollar general! They didnt trim my cuticles they just put the nail over them so my nails look horrible! Never again!

I have been going to nail salons since they started 20+ years ago. I used to do my own nails before salons were even popular and Im pretty picky about my nails. I get acrylic because my own nails do not grow straight. I LOVE this salon. I have been nothing but pleased with the staff and their prices. They are consistent every time I go and I never have to go back to have them fix anything. I have been to salons that made my cuticles bleed, where the nails were too wide, or where they just didnt look like they fit properly. I cant say how much I enjoy going there to relax and leave feeling like a queen.

Nails were ok but nothing spectacular. Never know what the price is going to be from one visit to the next it varies for the same services. Found a different nail salon. Grace nails!

We go here REGULARLY and LOVE the salon. The staff are specific, efficient, make you look beautiful and I always leave feeling satisfied. I trust only them with waxing my eyebrows- they do it right every time. Friendly staff that remembers your name.

Grossest nail salon ever! They reuse their little blue disposable gloves. After they are done massaging your leg, they neatly fold up their gloves and put them back in their nail kit. I asked them about it… they said they throw them away later. Right.And as if that is not enough they laugh and joke about everyone in the salon and point to people and speak in their native tongue so you cant understand. But their body language pretty much says it. Never going back.

Very unsure about their hygienic practices......both times that Ive gone, Ive left bleeding. The second time, the gal doing my nails bled from cracked skin.....and she used the EXACT same paper towel from her wound to dab my wound! Called first nurse, and they told me to report the salon.

When lily nails just opened it was great I would go every 2 weeks all the time the service was great me and my mom would always go. As time went on it just kept getting worse and worse the workers started to be super rude the only nice one was named Mimi I believe rest are super rude. The last time I went she rushed and and did a horrible job I was mad and returned and she started to fix them sitting down while I was standing up didnt even bother to say sorry and I know she was talking bad about me she ruined my moms nail beds. Dont even get me started about the wax room not once have I seen them clean it or wipe the seat after youre done. And they rip the wax clear of your brows like theyre super angry or something! I wont ever return ever. The wax is super dirty too. Take your service somewhere else believe me.

The tips of my nails are crooked and uneven. I tried saying something when they were being done but the lady seemed irritated by me saying anything. She overcharged me as well saying my nails were “ombré” nails but it’s just one shade with glitter. I’ll never come back there.

I have gone to Lily Nails for over 3 years. They used to be the best nail salon ever. But for the past 6 months, I found that the service was dropping. Their attitude toward me and other patrons was mean. They hurt my feet when they scrubbed my arch with the brillo pad they use to take rough spots off of the ball of your foot and the heal. Everyone knows not to scrub the arch. She drew blood.When doing a wax, they didnt get all of my hair. When I asked them for the tweezers, they said they will take care of it, but three times I asked them to take obvious hair off my brows, I gave up. Their waxing room is dirty and the hot wax has things in the pot.My fingerrnails break two days after they put them on. They said that I have been rough with them. In the past, I never had this problem and I do the same thing with my nails as I always have done.Everytime I go in to have my pedicure and nail fill, it is always a different price. I always do the same thing. They dont have their prices listed anywhere.I am very unhappy with them and I will be going elsewhere from now on.

I went into the salon on Tuesday, April 26th to get my nails done for my birthday & the lady i had was very very rude and she was rushing on my nails their all bumby and ALREADY chipping; AND i think she rushed to get mine done because she was getting her feet done.... Mind you the chipping happened the very next morning .i didnt even get them done until about 6:30-7:00 pm. I will never go back unless their fixing it for FREE! i will not recommend this place to anybody.

Not happy with my experience here. I got shellac on my nails and it came off 4 days later. That has never happened with my experience at other nail salons, normally the polish stays on for at least a week.
