While they do their best to accommodate you, an appointment is recommended. Wife and I made an appointment and they got us right in when we arrived. She got a manicure and had her eyebrows waxed. The nails look great and Nancy does very detailed work.I had a long needed pedicure (note to men, give it a try, they are amazing) and my feet were rough. They have a Pearl add-on which adds some additional moisturizing and lower leg/foot massage and a paraffin wax treatment. The chairs are very comfortable and the massaging options on them are great.COVID PROTOCOLS: They seem very concerned about COVID and prevention. Ask you to wash your hands upon arriving. There is hand sanitizer and a plastic divider at the front stand. There are plastic dividers at each of the manicure tables.

So disappointed. I was turned away not once but twice for my nails (one of the times I had been told to come on in), and then a third Time told to come back later to finish my appointment for my eyebrows.She didn’t come to the desk to talk to me and she yelled across the nail salon to tell me we busy.The first couple times I was there I tipped extremely well hoping to avoid any issues in the future if I had a broken now I needed to get in quickly.I will never go back!

Wonderful people. They were supper nice. They did so well on doing the design I asked. They were so professional. In total I am so happy and will definitely have to come back.

Called in for the dip, Im positive theyve just started offering dip service. Asked for coffin tip shape, got square. Asked her to shape them thinner at the ends and finally looked okay. Each nail tip is slightly crooked one way or the other. After I asked her to reshape the first time her whole attitude changed and she was less willing to be friendly. Ended up filing my skin a few times so I pulled away but she just continued. She piled up the dip at the cuticle line and then filed it off which was painful. Had to get her to take off the top coat and fill in a large gap in one of my nails. Over all nails are lumpy and shaped poorly. I had to clean up my own nails after I left. Honestly, they are significantly cheaper than other places so if you dont mind everything Ive touched on above they are like C+ average.

Best Ive Found!I received a certificate from a friend the first time, and I love this place so much. All employees are friendly, easy to talk to, and pay great attention to detail.Ive tried four different salons over the last five months for my dipped nails. Most technicians did a decent job, but I would find several issues within hours of leaving the salon. I would go back and give them a second chance, only to have my nails in worse shape.This salon truly cares about your experience. I didnt want the regular square or rounded shape, and prefer to keep my nails somewhat short. They worked to find the perfect solution to make my man hands look feminine with short nails. They take their time to make sure every finger looks good and I couldnt love my nails more! They have a customer for life!

Ankeny Nails was amazing! I got a pedicure here and they did an excellent job! They were very detailed and thorough with their work! They didn’t have a time limit they were trying to stick to (like I have experienced at other places). They made sure the job got done well! 10/10 would recommend and come here again!

I get the Covid restrictions: but I was waiting for 45 minutes when only one customer was there. Me and my mom just wanted our nails done. They were sitting on their phones. Other customers came in without an appointment and they got their nails done first! We were last.. nails were okay, but definitely would not recommend this salon to a friend.

Frequenctly schedule Mani pedi together. When I arrive owner shouts at me I make mistake only pedi. I see this happen to other customers. If they have a chance to squash someone in they will and then tell at the customer. Their work is not supreme enough to endure being yelled at.

Best place I’ve found in town! They take their time to ensure it’s well done. Nancy is very precise, but I have never had a dip I didn’t like. They are often busy, I would recommend calling ahead.

Super rude salon, i walked in to get nails done 2 days ago with a toddler, without asking me if i can schedule a time or wait, id b happy with either choice, lady didnt apologize,greeted me or anything just in a extremely rude way said were busy,no way i can get u in, i thought walk ins are welcome? Hmmmm i guess not, will never consider coming back or even telling my friends about it!!!!

Ive used Ankeny Nails since movimf here in 2015 and have always had a good experience. The staff is very friendly. Their pedicures are very relaxing.

Poor customer service. Less than a week and had issues with nails coming up and they would not fix them. Won’t be getting my business anymore! Will be sure to tell others not to go there as well.

Nails look fine from a distance but up close polish is sloppy and uneven.

This salon is bad, the lady who is owner asked CASH and the salon too noise, they loudly talked with customer and employees over there. DIRTY SALON !!!! And BAD !!!
