I have been coming here for over a year now and today was the first time I wasn’t satisfied with my nails. I was hesitant to go back and ask them to fix them but when I did they were extremely nice and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. This definitely solidified how great this place is. Will always recommend to everyone!

Very clean and professional. I asked for almond and got oval, the tech as very nice, Im going to try a different nail salon next time. Nails had some flat spot where the apex should be. Not sure if you can see in the photos. They wore really well and didnt come off. These are dips with tips

We called at 3:00 for double shellac pedicures for 6:30. The man who answered said no problem, but 6:15 would work better. We showed up at 6:10 and the man at the front desk said we didnt have appointments. Never apologized, was very rude, rolled his eyes. I cant believe how he acted. It was flipping pedicures lol. Very unprofessional. Was probably a different guy that answered the phone. Im not an amateur making appointments. Took our business down the street where they happily accepted our $120.

I scheduled an appointment to get dip polish with tips taken off and a gel manicure. I was really impressed with how good my nails were turning out until the last five minutes of my appointment the guy doing my nails was moved to another client. He had one finger and the top coat left to finish and because he got moved that last nail didn’t turn out as nice as the rest.I would prefer the same person work on my nails from start to finish so, that all my nails turn out looking equally nice. Overall I really like Classy Nails but this is the second time I’ve gone to have the last few minutes of my time there feel rushed.

Loved it. It was quiet, soft music playing. They listened to what I wanted. Thia did an awesome job. The pedicure was very relaxing. Fair prices. I made an appointment for three weeks out to get a manicure. Which I dont usually do. My manicure was was exactly what I wanted.

I would highly recommend Classy Nails and Spa. I had an appointment and got right in at my scheduled time. My pedicure was amazing, thorough and well worth the money. They have very relaxing music and no loud TVs blaring. They have plenty of pedicure chairs and manicure stations. I appreciate the cleanliness and measures they take to keep things professional and clean.

Great place! Decided last minute to get a mani and pedi and they were able to squeeze me and my daughter in. Did a great job on both of us and were really great with my 5 year old. She wanted rainbow nails and they were very patient with her and delivered!

I’ve gotten my nails done here a couple of times and the staff is nice and I absolutely love their pedicures. However both times that I’ve gotten dip nails done here they have cracked within 3-5 days. I get the dip nails done a lot and this isn’t a problem that I’ve had anywhere else. They usually last 2-3 weeks with no problems and I only go get them redone because they are growing out. I’m not sure if it’s the product that they use or the way that it’s being applied, but it is definitely not worth the money or the drive.

I don’t ever write reviews on business.. but I went in to get an acrylic set and in under a week my nails were coming up from the nail bed. I’ve gotten acrylics done a lot but I’ve never had them turn out so bad. Then today while BRUSHING MY HAIR one busted off so bad it made my real nail come off with it and start bleeding. My pedicure was fine but I don’t know how you can really mess that up. Extremely disappointed, especially because they had such good reviews.

UPDATE: Less than a week after the gel manicure, my sisters has already started to chip. She has never had a gel manicure last such a short amount of time. Additionally, after writing this review, I can certainly see uneven application of the nail polish - I can only assume this was from how rushed the appointment was. Additionally, one pinky toe of the manicure has half the toe nail unpainted.*****I scheduled an appointment for me and my sister for my birthday. She had a gel manicure and I had a gel manicure and deluxe gel pedicure. First, this place is super clean - probably the cleanest nail salon I have ever been to, which I really appreciated.In terms of the manicure, this was probably the most basic manicure I have ever received. The massage portion of it lasted less than 30 seconds total (for both arms). The one arm, she basically applied lotion and then was done. From the start, it just felt like both of our techs were in a rush to get our nails done - there was a sense of impatience when we were trying to choose colors (there are an overwhelming number to choose from) and each step just seemed rush, especially the massage part. My sisters tech honestly seemed like he hated his job - she would ask for his opinion and he wouldnt offer one and at one point he pulled her arm pretty aggressively under the partition because he wanted her to start soaking her hands (we were still looking at the colors). As a part of my manicure, I had art done on my two ring fingers, including a small gem. The gem on one hand broke (its still glued on but the sparkle/gem came off) within 24 hours. Additionally, the photo I showed her had depth (multiple shades of pink) in the flower, the one she did was very basic.The pedicure was a much better experience. I really appreciate the use of the disposable liners in between every client. Also, my tech did an incredible job with the massage portion - it was long and used a perfect amount of pressure. There were two things I wish had gone better: First, I had to request a bottle of water. Based on what I paid of the pedicure, this should have been offered right away and they should probably provide some options. Second, there was no introduction to the seat. I didnt realize until part way into my pedicure that it was even a massage chair because the remote was tucked away in a place I didnt see it.This is the first mani/pedi I have done in Ankeny. I will most certainly try other salons in Ankeny and am unlikely to return here.

I had Yen do a french dip powder on my nails and even though they are grown out Ive had them on for 5 weeks now and they still look pretty amazing! I had 0 chipping and no lifting on the nails. I havent been easy on them either so Im shocked on how they have stayed so nice!She did a great job and took her time to make sure my nails were perfect! I recommend using Yen!

Thi and Annie did an absolutely amazing job! I had a pedicure and my eyebrows waxed and they listened to exactly what I wanted. I have had some bad experiences in the past with my eyebrows being waxed and they look amazing and she shaped them very well.My toes look perfect and they took extra time on the bottom of my feet which I really enjoyed. My 6 year old son came with me and they were very kind to him. He sat his feet in the water and she gave him bubbles to make him feel involved. Very good experience and will recommend to friends and family.

They go above and beyond with COVID safety. Its peaceful and clean, and the service is incredible

I have nothing but good things to say about this place! Probably the cleanest salon I have ever been too, I have also never had some one take so much time to make sure each nails is equal length or the perfect shape. It was such a relaxing experience and made me feel very safe to be there with all the precautions they took.

When I first went in, I wasnt sure what to expect. I first noticed there was a receptionist which is new to me because most of the time when you walk in to a nail place, there is no one at the reception area. So that was a plus and of course I was greeted. There was relaxing music being played and it was a spa feeling with out the price tag. My nail tech, I think her name was Thi, was very nice and considerate. She asked me if I was doing okay and if i liked how the nails were coming out. I did schedule ahead of time with an appointment specifically with Thi but I am not exactly sure if that is who i got because she did not introduce herself. Other wise everything else went fine, I was treated with respect and prices were reasonable. Also the actual turn out of my dip powder on my natural nail, was absolutely gorgeous and exactly how i pictured them.

They ripped my actual nail which caused me to bleed. They then continued to use the tools they use on everyone, which got my blood on the tools. Very unsettling since future clients will get service with tools that have my blood on it. They were very rude about it.

FABULOUS experience. We went for a bachelorette party and we had nine people. This was the only salon who had enough space for all of us in pedicure chairs (they had 10 chairs). The space is big, clean, and beautiful. Their commitment to cleanliness and sanitation was comforting especially considering the state of things right now. So grateful for excellent service that served everyone well whether They were getting a basic pedi or a deluxe one! They went out of their way to make sure we got pictures, had fun, and relaxed. They even had a small gift for the bride! So unexpected! I would return again despite living 30 minutes away as would many of the other gals we brought. A great location with great service.

We had a bridal party of 14 that came for manis and pedis. We had such a fun experience! Staff was amazing and professional....especially with the current restrictions. Thanks for taking such good care of us.

Awesome place. Staff is friendly. Andy is awesome. Great pedicure for $30 and they scrub your heels, ask if you like a design. They talk to you. Very personable. They use bags in your tubs, very sanitary! Ill definitely be back. Next is a manicure.

This place was hands down beautiful, the staff was friendly and fun. I didn’t feel rushed picking out my nail color, and I was able to relax without getting asked if I wanted more services. To top it off Andy did a fabulous job on my nails, they are by far my favorite. I suggest to make the trip to classy nails and spa!

So i went to Classy Nails to get acrylics and it was my first time there but i’ve gotten acrylics a lot before and have NEVER broken a nail. It’s only been a couple weeks and 2 nails have already fallen off which is crazy because it happened with hardly any force... i am very upset and surprised because they seemed fancy and nice but the fact is they are low quality..

I went into my nail appointment today a little nervous and apprehensive - I have had several bad experiences at different nails salons, from botched shellac manicures to getting an infection from bad equipment.As soon as I walked into Classy Nails, I felt comfortable. Its incredibly clean, not super noisy, and everyone was very approachable and friendly.I was getting a different service than I had ever done before and wasnt really sure of what I was in for, but my nail tech, Hannah, was so sweet and walked me through everything as it came up. Whether it was just small talk or a question I had, she was very attentive and I felt so at ease around her.Ive already booked my next appointment - the environment as a whole was so relaxing and my dip manicure exceeded my expectations. If you are like me and are in need of some reassurance when getting your nails done or are just looking to try some place new, I would definitely give this place a shot!

Today was my second experience at Classy Nails and I was not disappointed. I had Andy do the gel nails and they look amazing. Peyton did my pedicure on Tuesday and they look great too! Clean, relaxing and friendly nail salon! Highly recommended.

BEST NAIL SALON IN ANKENY! I have been to quite a few in town, trying to find the cleanest and most relaxing experience. My search is now complete; Classy Nails has exceeded my expectations. They use sanitized tools that were opened in front of us, and have new technology in the pedicure thrones to prevent infection from the jets. Tram and Peyton are absolute sweethearts! Also loved the smell upon walking in. Instead of smelling acetone, I smelled lavender from the candles that were burning. It was enough to smell like a relaxing spa, and not overwhelming in the slightest. They also had smooth spa music in the background, seriously the best experience!

Great staff and very clean. There were no overpowering fumes, it was bright and a pleasant visit.

This is a beautiful, clean, calming spa. Owners are very accommodating and want to make sure you are satisfied with quality service. I love the menu, the choices of scents for sugar scrub is a great extra. Sanitation is high on their priorities. Love the spa, Tram and Andy!

Best place to get your nails done in ankeny BY FAR. Amazing service. They work really hard to make sure you are happy with the results and are very nice to talk to. Acrylic nails last 2-3 weeks!

Love my nails, by far the best salon Ive visited in Ankeny. Tram was very attentive to her clients, and had great attention to detail. Offered great suggestions, without forcing add-ons, and it was a calm peaceful environment that left you feeling relaxed, and not rushed like many other salons.
