Got here 10:49am, Put in at 13:05pm to 14:57pm just tell load been canceled because no product . Get this got another in place of one cancelled . Checked back in 15:57pm and been waiting ever since. Be prepared to sit.

This place is awesome!! I was able to get loaded a day early. My appointment was scheduled for the day I showed up but in their system it showed for the next day. They were going to put me in the overflow parking lot and then they called me with a dock door so big thumbs up to this place. Spent about 2 1/2 hrs here and on my way I went. Be patient with them inside. It gets busy with people checking in and out all at the same time. Drive safe drivers!!

This place need to add more parking for the drivers & be more respectful to them since they haul ur freight... They need to add more windows so drivers can get in & out easy

Great place! Showed up an hour before my appointment time and was put in a door right away and unloaded within 30 minutes! The staff is very friendly! I will definitely come back again to this facility!

For the truckers. Enter through Snowdrift Rd. No overnight parking, but you might be allowed to do a few hours for reset, ask personel for the option. Premises are clean and spacious. Restroom was clean but not perfect. Check-in is between docks 8 and 9. The ladies at check- in are friendly. Must have license, PU number (starting with 26 or 27),and will be asked to fill a disclosure form. Late arrival requires a late fee via non-personal checks ( my fee was $114.81 as an example). UPDATE: Late fee is now 155.00 as of 07-28-20. No overnight, and arrive only within one hour of your appointment time. Check in is 4 people at a time in the office. The restrooms stink, and checking in might be 10 to 25 minutes long. Make sure you get correct load, a few guys were saying their loads were given to other drivers. Just be attentive.

Usually pretty fast loading. Easy backing. No overnight parking.

Read the reviews. All the negative reviews are true. Owner-operators beware. The bathrooms are currently shut down. 2 Porter Johns only cleaned every 6 days. They have 20 + Docs and they only operate out of one or two of them. Americold is a corporate company with many locations. There is no reason for them to be understaffed with all these Docs. If you enjoy losing hours youre at the right place. Do they offer no assistance for arriving early. They will charge you a late fee for arriving late. The property owner doesnt want drivers to stay overnight. If your brokerage tells you they allow overnight parking it is a straight lie. Dont believe the brokerage.There is a town sheriff that patrols the area. If you park outside on the street they were asked you to move. Only once! My advice to any driver who reads this mark this on your do not deliver list.

Here it is, Aug 2021 and these people still require mask. No mandate in place, just their own rule.Use to like getting loads out of here....

First i will thank u everyone reading my reviewsI been to this company they basically robbingTransportation companies on the name of late fee...Which is about 405.00 usd dollar. They charge this money to offload the truck as quickly as possible.Pretty said. For those drivers they dont know whereThey going... Well i showed up 8pm they refusé to offload my truck and said come back in the morning more interesting U cant park truck for the night over there they tell u leave... Well i left come back in the morning 8am tell me late fee charge. I have to pay405 usd i call my company they paid. And after didntOffload for the whole day that day was hell for me..As a driver not gud expérience plz would. Advice drivers If they do not have there booking confirmation number plz avoid going there......

Good conpany to pick up and drop load. Ample space for parking, they do not allow overnight parking, near route 100,78, 22 etc. Must check in with security.

The young girl with the glasses in the the right window is lazy if she’s not playing with her phone she’s playing with her hair.. the blonde lady on the left helps everyone out. It seems like that lazy girl don’t want to help truck drivers.

My appointment was at 9a.m. and I got here at 7:45a.m. I had a door by 8:15 a.m. They unloaded me by 9:30a.m. I was able to take a power nap while getting unloaded. No lights to wait for. They come know on the door and let you know that you are done. They have a bathroom and a snack machine. The ladies in the office were cool. I would come back again

Its okay, dont come early they are by appointment, however they did take me 2 hours early. They also take you late as well. 24 hour facility.

Why is americold so concerned about quitting time? Ive been to 4 facilities, 3 are concerned about competing my load before time to go home. This seems to be the only company where going home on time is more important than getting the loads either out or in.

Staff is friendly & security is helpful but...Not following mask mandate or enforcing social distancing practices.Drivers check in area smells of dead rat or sewage-Extreme crowded/OverbookedCausing congestion when backing up or trying to exit.

Very slow service not friendly at all the waiting area has a very bad smell. I would not recommend this place to no one....ever!

Easy parking no overnight but they start to let drivers in around 4am about 13 spots nice and friendly clean only been here twice and was in and out in 2 hrs got to pick up early so thumbs 👍 up

This is my 1st time here today March 8 and they told me they are really backed up and they have fortrucks to park in wait for their appointment very unorganized expect to wait a good 4 to 7 hours.. Or book a load from somewhere else..

Other than the extremely restrictive measures PPP you have to wear they are pretty damn fast at unloading and loading. Do NOT come early unless its within 30 minutes otherwise they will send you away

Come here frequently enough...always a drop and hook. Armed guard was actually cool, although the women in the office could use a refresher course on the way they talk to treat drivers

If youre late, 114.00 no way around it.. if you come in the drivers door and the line is long, punch a time. It will save you 114.00. An hour early is good to be able to get in door loaded within 45mins then the wait for ppwk begins... you stand in line longer than you get loaded.

My appointment was @ 9:30pm. I arrived @ 11:30am. I checked in and was given a door to get loaded. VERY nice ladies in the office and the security guard at the gate. Thank you very much for accepting me early!!!

Got here 2 hours early they put me in a dock 1 hour after my appointment time. It prob took the guy 30 min to unload me I paid the $268 lumper right away but yet Iv had a green light for 2 hours now and they still don’t have the paperwork ready for me!

This Americold is one of the best facility to get a load ....the shipping office ladies are actually respect you and willing to help you not like other Americold ....customer service is great here and they are very fast to get you loaded ....if you come late you will be charged $155.00 but they will load you right away very busy place ...definitely I will come here again .

Awesome place to deliver and pickup. I come here twice a week. I give it one star rating just because there is one super rude security guy. I don’t know his name but you’ll recognize him by his attitude, loud talking and using the “F”. This fat wannabe police officer was not in his booth and after waiting at the window and nobody was there I moved the truck forward 10-15 feet. He comes out of nowhere showing me his badge 😂😂😂... giving me attitude with a lot of “F” words why I did not wait and started filming my truck with his phone. I told him not to use that language with me so after I parked the truck he comes at my window trying to explain without the “F” words that it’s a safety issue. I understand safety and I respect safety rules everywhere I go, what I don’t understand is bad attitude and bad language. If you can’t handle your job ... go do something else. You have to know that if you miss your appointment you get fined so the main idea is to get as soon as possible in the office to time stamp your BOL. Any time lost waiting for this guy to do his job might cost you 115$.

Good place lots of room to get proper angle to back into docks. Staff at shipping rrceiving window could be a little more polite. Bathroom was clean with all needed supplies. Not sure if over night parking is available

Pretty alright americold, I was loaded in about 2 hours which was nice. I was late and was charged $155.00 fee. That was my companies fault so I dont really care, just a heads up. Park in staging area on left and the office is infront of you kinda do the right. Washroom on site, kinda smelly but whatever.

It is very rare to give a five star to a cold storage. But this one at this time was precise. Very good people, very good service. It took 45 minutes to load. It is very good.

Takes forever to get loaded and check in and out with your paperwork.. 4 different people working and dealing with paperwork and stuff. Still takes longer to get paperwork then it did to get loaded with product.. was there well over 6 hours..

Use address 6985 snowdrift road(don’t make a turn on mill rd,that entry for the facility is closed)I got loaded in an hour. Staging area is next to the security guard.

People were super nice here. Was 12 hours early and they unloaded me within an hour of arrival. Tons of room to move around and back in the doors. Lots of swift drivers, so there is entertainment.

Got here an hour early, checked in, got a door right away. Was unloaded and had my paperwork in 2 hours 8 minutes. One of the best places to deliver to. Edit to add: bonus points... They let me have a Dominoes pizza delivered to my truck.

Wouldn’t recommend working here. They will discriminate against you if one other person doesnt like you . Even if your doing your job correctly better then others and arriving on time before your shift. They talk a lot about truck drivers about how they smell and about each other. They will have you waiting in line till there done saying nasty things about other employees. If your the type of person to not involve yourself in drama at work they are not the company you would like to work for. Most people wouldn’t notice because majority of the time they will say it in Spanish. Very unprofessional environment.

Arrive on time. Straight in the dock. Waited about 15 for unloaded to come out and verify seal. Took 20 min to unload full trailer.

Fast unloading. Been there 40 times, never a problem.

Checked with guard at 1.30 pm, he was nice guy, he told me that the broker did not change delve. Time from 7 am to 5pm, and I would have to pay 114.85 late fee, so I did, but then when the lady took the money, she told me I had to wait till the night shift because it was already 2.30 and they where cleaning up, so I pay late fee they made me wait at receiving and now have to wait till 5pm to get unloaded, what a ripoff, stear clear from this place, 3 hours lost, and who knows when I will get out of here. This was my load to get home.

10:30 pm appointment showed up at 9 pm. With all the parking available there the security guard tells me to leave and said come back 30 min later like there is a truck stop or there is parking right around the corner. 30 min come on. This shows how much they care for the drivers here at the Ameri Cold. It was almost at the end of shift I was tired it would’ve been very thankful if I was allowed to park on property 30 min early

Lady at the front was kinda rude, Appt was at 1400 was in a little traffic had the broker call/email never responded I get here at 1427 in the thirty minute window, she didn’t get to me until 1443. Once I was at the window she said it’s going to be a 114.81 charge for being late I explained that I was here in the thirty minute window she said I can’t prove that and explained that I should have gotten a time stamp, now I’ve been to a lot of Americold places and I never had to do that also there is no sign saying get a time stamp anywhere in the building. I’m now a work in you would think after paying the 114.81 fee they would get me in. Note no overnight parking just a heads up.

Got in and loaded under 2 hours on a Sunday. Only issue is place is filthy, I mean disgusting.

Both restrooms were out of paper and the entire facility was dirty. The two older women in charge of checking in trucks were very polite and professional, but the young girl was on her cell phone and ignoring people. I showed up an hour before my appointment and left an hour later. I didnt get nagged to about idling either. Best americold Ive been to so far.

If late, they will charge you 114$ late fee. If on time you may wait few hours to get loaded no detention paid by broker! How is this possible? Even 30 min late 114$?

Actually fairly good for a freezer.. can be some delays but usually theyre not too bad. Nobody got their hand out thats a real bus

They won’t let you come in early to your appointment. Also, once loaded you cannot stay, and good luck finding parking in the area. Even the paid parking can be full in the evening. I won’t be doing these loads anymore. I feel sorry for the folks who cannot reject loads. They started kicking people out of the property at 2:30am.

Usually this place isn’t bad when getting you loaded and out of here. They allow arrival 1 hr before appt but you will be turned away if you come sooner. Also, your pick up number doesn’t just start with a 26 or 27 as someone else stated because mine started with a 30. Just depends on the product you are picking up. Trying to call in is almost impossible for this location. The guard will ask you when is your appt so you could possibly lie about it lol. I use to do a lot of drop and look here for Prime Inc but this location and the one across the street have been having usual 1-3 hr load or unload times. My appt is at 9pm and arrived at 8pm. Take a nap and they come outside to wake you up when loaded and ready to go.

Arrived 06:15 for 07:00 appt, empty and out the gate 08:20. I didnt experience long waits for check in or check out, 5-10 min, but It was getting busier as I left. I could see how things might get bogged down. Didnt seem as rude or dirty as other reviewers found, just another cold warehouse.

This is the worst company I’ve ever seen. The office lady Kathleen. If she takes your bill of landing, make sure that she put the time in. I check in at 8:55am, and my appointment was at 10:00am. She said you’re early, we will call when we get a door. No one called me. I went back to check what is going on. They said you were late your appointment, you checked in at 10:26am. So you’re considered working in. She is big time lair. Here the proof for it. My check in stamp.

The girls in the office are sweet. Dont bust their chops. They are doing the best they can with what they got. Shout out to the sweet beautiful Puerto Rican girl that helped me out today. Sweet personality and smells wonderful...lol

App at 0700 got there at 0500, checked in at 0600 ten minutes later was in door, took them less than an hour to unload and I was out. Bathrooms were very dirty indeed. Staff was nice and helpful.

Receiving opens at 6 AM. The office had a bad smell of rotting food and unflushed toilets. One of the workers opened the warehouse mandoor and a heavy stench of rotting food came out. The unload is going pretty quick though and the office people were alright so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Have no complaints about this americold. Customer service was great was able to get unloaded 12 hrs early which is surprising!!!! No parking once unloaded, and bathrooms were out of service....

11/19 12pm appointment checked 10am 1135am out . But i do see others sitting at dock still not sure why but my product they loaded fast before my appointment WHICH i was not expected from them but great job for me so earn 5 stars from me . Keep it up AMC ALLENTOWN PA
