So it was my first time getting Nexgen nails.. since back home in NYC I always did acrylic, wanted to try something different and not as damaging. I made an apmt before my gym group session (next door) and I was being worked on within 3 minutes. Salon is very well organized and neat. As soon as I walked in, I was guided to the hand wash station, I didnt even have to ask! They told me Simon would work on my nails and I will go back to him on my next appmt. Hes very professional, friendly, and took his time explaining to me how the powder worked and did exactly what I asked and made them look better than I expected. It has been 9 days since I got them done and the color has not chipped even after doing dishes and cleaning bathrooms and cooking.. etc. These nails are nice and inexpensive. Well worth the visit. They always have promo coupons on their website, so be sure to check those.They accept debit, credit, amex and cash.Update: after months, Simon is still my #1 tech, leaving my nails perfectly beautiful, lasting and lightweight.Cindy is amazing at pedis! I always call ahead to make appointments wih them two.

My pedicure was fine. But my manicure was done sloppy and the nail lady went through it so quickly just so she could get done to go sit back down on another massage chair to talk with her co workers. The bottom of my nail beds are messy and I asked for a square cut and she didn’t file in the shape that I asked for. I will not be coming back here unfortunately.

My friend Melissa introduced me to Sabrina today. She was so wonderful! Close attention to detail, professional and personable. This salon was also super clean! This is my new nail salon from here on out! I would Rate 10 stars if I could!

I live in Arlington and was in Allen visiting friends when I decided to have my nails done. I came here because of the great Google reviews. Sabrina did my nails and I was amazed. She is a true artist!! Cindy did my pedicure and I was so impressed. I have fibromyalgia so I usually dont have anyone massage my legs, as its very painful. But Cindy had the most gentle touch and my legs and feet felt great afterwards!! If I could have spent the night in the chair, Id have been very happy!! You cant go wrong at this establishment and Ill be coming back next time Im in town!! Kudos to Sabrina & Cindy!! Thanks so much for the great job you both did!!

Everytime we come here WE LOVE IT!! Ihad come here with my best friend, with my mother, and with co-workers and we are always amazed!!! Sabrina is an artist so if you like designs make appts with her, but every single tech in there is awesome!!! I always make appt for whoever is available, mine is acrylic powder and my mother is Nexgen and the job outcome is always great... they have a HUGE selection of colors of everything.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and NOT EXPENSIVE AT ALL... new set of everything is $35 and if you get acrylic-the refills are $20... the cheapest pedicure (which comes with massage and hot towel and all that) is $27!!! You cannot say no to this place!!

My whole family uses Star Nails in Allen for all of our pedicure and manicure needs. My husband goes in early Saturday where there are usually one or two other men receiving pedicures. He got one today from Kim and was very pleased with her thoroughness and attention to detail. She was excellent! He will be asking for her from now one.My go to technician is Simon. I have been going to Star Nails for many years now and he is detailed, delivers great quality and can get my dip powder nails done within an hour.My girls and I go for spa day pedicures which means mom pays! We have received pedis from most all of the technicians and find all of them very skilled.The salon is clean and maintained well. We are big fans of Star Nails!

Go to place for the wife and I to get pedicures. My feet get so dry and it’s so nice to get someone else to cut the toenails and make my feet feel better. They also have little chairs if you have kiddos that need pampering.

Went here before my wedding and had an amazing experience! The gel manicure came out fabulously and the pedicure was very relaxing. The owner saw the colors I had picked and very gracefully suggested a different color that would go better with my skin tone. The nail technicians were so friendly and I had no trouble communicating what I wanted. The student discount was an added perk. I would definitely recommend this place.

I was getting my nails done for a wedding but now I wish I would have did them myself. I think I could have done them better. Best nail salon in Allen! Amy is my girl! All nail techs are great hardly any turnover only new techs add as needed. Been a customer since 2002. Their sanitation is above standard and solid with the Stateboard! I am a hairdresser so excellent sanitation is a must for my nail salon choice.

I have been going here for a couple of years, and it is the only place I will ever get my nails done. I have recently moved and this nail salon is now a hour and a half drive, but it is so worth it. All other staff I have seen are also kind and offer complimentary drinks. Simon was out of town this week, so I went to another local salon and the results were AWFUL! Never betraying Sabrina Star Nails again, and will continue to come here on home visits from college!!

I usually always have a great experience at this place. Lynn is always really caring and nice when it comes to doing my pedicure. Last night I came in, I had a different lady who did my toenails. And unfortunately I wasn’t very satisfied with it. First of all she didn’t even ask me what kind of pedicure I wanted. I felt as if she wasn’t very through with everything & she cut my nails in a very weird way and a weird shape especially my big toe to where it hurt and was red and gave me a cut. I wish I knew her name. She was more on the tan side and had black hair and wore glasses. The receipt she gave me in the end didn’t have her name on it either. All the other ladies are nice but the best one at pedicures at least is Lynn. If you go here, make sure you ask for her and not anyone else!

This is the best place to go for Pedicures and Nexgen nails. Lisa always gives me great Pedicures and Kim is amazing with nails! Tom is a great guy that keeps it all organized and moving! The team here gives you a warm family atmosphere to relax and enjoy. I truly have never seen such great talent in one place. They also have discounts for your Allen ISD kids, so take them too!!!

The prices at this salon are very good, I certainly can not argue that. However, I have been yelled at and humiliated numerous times and will never go back. The first time I was yelled at was because I had an appointment with Sabrina and was told once I arrived she was busy. So, I was given Tony. He did a terrible job on my nails, but I did not want to complain, so I paid and decided I would not use him again in the future. The next time, the same thing happened, but when I was told Tony would do my nails, I declined and said I would wait for another person. The manager asked why and when I told him he yelled at me saying it was my fault for not saying anything and that usually “most” people complained before they left. I recently took my daughter in to have her nails done and the lady was really sweet but could not do Nexgen to save her life. My daughters nails were lumpy and crooked, filed shorter than her real nails and the filling was missing in areas. I was telling my daughter that we would wait and see the outcome at the very end and tell the manager if they were still as bad. That’s what I was told to do, after all. He overheard me and began to scream at me and talk to her in his native language which I do not speak or understand. He was screaming at my daughter because I refused to acknowledge him. He said it was apparent I was mad etc etc. He went on and on. It was embarrassing. Ultimately he said we did not have to pay, so I tipped the woman. He yelled across the place as we were leaving “I hope to never see you again”. I told Sabrina it was not the issue with the nails but the manner in which he presented himself and the salon that upset me. I had been a loyal customer for years despite their treatment and quality. She just sat in her area and shrugged her shoulders. By the way, they are married. I’ve read numerous reviews stating the same sort of scenario. If you have any complaints or issues whatsoever, you will be publicly scolded. I suppose that’s how you’re treated if you have an opinion. I don’t know. So Because of numerous issues of the same nature, I choose to never grace their doorstep again. You’ve been forewarned. I’m just saying!!

Don’t waste your money here! The customer service was great they took care of me right away. Judy did my nails and she was in such a rush. It’s crazy cause she wanted to cut two of my nails shorter on my other hand to match the hand she messed up. I made her redo those two fingers and add a tip. She was kind about it however but she still rushed to do them so the base looks like a beginner did them...maybe she is! It’s been a week and my nails look terrible. I did dip powder the color is great but the work is terrible. All that money for nothing. Going somewhere else next time. The reviews were clearly a lie or I got unlucky!

I’ve been going here for about two years- they’re just that good!!!!!!!! I’ve lived in Allen and gone to school in Richardson and I’ve tried all the nail places in between. I have very oily nails and so anything I put on them usually lifts up really quickly. Simon (the best nail guy EVER) does such a good job that my nails would grow out before lifting (which I’ve never had happen before). Usually nexgen will fall off after about a week, but with him, I’ve gone on vacation and they stay on. They’re super nice and will fix any problems or breaks that you have. I 10000000% reccomend.

I have been going to Sabrina Star Nails for over 14 years. I rated them 5 because in all this time I have never been disappointed. All technicians are extremely friendly and highly skilled. I get compliments on my nails at least 2 to 3 times a week. Where ever I go people ask me where I get my nails done. I have never had a nail come loose or chip off. This salon is very beautiful and very clean. Least I forget, I am extremely picky about my colors and finished product. Pedicures are fantastic. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Sabrinas Star nails for a while now. They are very firm yet gentle with my hands and feet! As a person with Rheumatory issues, they are the only ones that i have found that will not kill me with pain making my fingers and toes happy! I also like to get fun little designs on one or more of my nails. This is just a couple that i have had. I get all major holiday marking fun!

The staff was AWESOME, super friendly, took their time but didnt have you waiting all day. I paid $48 for Nextgen nails and a pedicure with my student discount! They offer a 20% student discount!!! Definitely suggest making an appointment, this is my new nail spot, and I would recommend anyone to come here!

I got a full acrylic set with polish. The nail tech buffed my nails with a buffer that had obviously been used on many other clients before, there was nail dust all over it and the corners were cracking, very unsanitary. A couple of my nails were cut crooked and the polish was messy. The polish was on my cuticles so it looked sloppy.Since this place is one of the highest rated in the area, I expected much better.

I was very disappointed in my nails! I got Nexgen which Ive been getting for years at various other salons. My nail tech left a message both around and around edges, did not shape my nails the way I requested and they are very bumpy! I might go back for one more try but I will definitely ask for another nail tech!
