This place was fancy! They all were very nice and accommodating. They place was clean and looked newer. The staff was friendly and took their time to give us a great pedi. A little over pricey for sure and they kinda skimpy on the gel polish. But, overall it was a good experience.

Excellent nail salon. Kate did an amazing job on my nails. Ive never had nails this thin!!.I love my pedicure too. So relaxing and I love the color. Ill be coming here from now on. She did dip powder on my real nails and I switched to the almond shape, which was a big change for me.

Julianne is the ONLY person I will let touch my nails from now on. She is attentive to detail and she listens to what you want. Shell help you pick out a color and give you recommendations as well. Shes just super sweet!

I moved to Texas a year ago and have been searching for my nail home ever since. I called and made an appointment and upon arrival explained that I normally do the dip nails, but wanted to also add a design as we are traveling to Disney World in two days. I was put with Kate, and she was absolutely AMAZING!!!!My nails are real, and she recognized the effort it takes to keep them in good shape and she took extreme care and making sure they were damaged as little as possible.I am SO excited that I finally found my Home.

I was looking for nail place close to my job and found this place. The atmosphere is very welcoming.Tam who did my nails did an amazing job!! She was so very details and took her time making sure my nails were perfect!! I got the dipped nails.....Ive gotten so many compliments on my nails and that never happens....lolI made an appointment to come back in 2 weeks. And tipped very well. Cant wait to try out a new color. I highly recommend this place!!

Im new to the area and thoroughly searched these reviews and decided to go to NexGen nails. I do not recommend this place for pedicures. The pedicure overall was mediocre at best. The lady who did my nails was nice, but she disappeared after the last coat of polish and a few minutes later the man who greeted us earlier came and rushed me out of the seat. I thought someone would check my nails to make sure they were dry after only a few minutes, but I was lead to the desk to pay for my pedicure. One the way home, my wet toe nails must have hit something in the car and smeared. I went back to ask if they could fix it and was told to wait. After waiting about half an hour, I ended up finding my color and fixed the nail myself. My search continues because I wont be back.

I drive by 2 nail salons in order to come here, they are thorough, appreciate the extra attention to cuticles and the massage. My favorite the citrus combo.

Ive been here twice and neither experience disappointed. This is definitely my go-to nail place, and I dont even mind that I have to drive 30 minutes from Aubrey to get here. Absolutely wonderful nail salon. My girl Alex is AMAZING, cannot recommend enough! Have gone to several technicians here for special rhinestone designs and all have been great, but Alex is my absolute FAVE purely because she truly understands how rough I am with my hands (I kickbox twice a week and lift heavy weights) and knows how to make my nails (and rhinestones) LAST! Even if anything major happens to my rhinestone designs, they highly encourage me to come back to get them fixed free of charge, because they are devoted to quality service. Such a special place, and such great service!

Amber was AMAZING! A great conversationist as well as making sure my nails where perfect! She takes her time to do it right and there is nothing I admire more! I did a French ombré which turned out fabulous. 10/10 definitely would recommend. Don’t pay attention to any negative review especially if you go in asking for Amber!

Worst place ever!!!! Two of my nails were mess up and I clearly told her before I left. Still no fix. Came back today, 5/8, and they still didn’t fix it right. Had an whole attitude and all. Speak with manager and she walks away! How rude!!!! I spent my hard earn money, FIx my ish!!! 8/19/21 Everything was going perfectly fine until this white lady came in demanding Amber while she was working on my hands. Amber was rush and didn’t want to finish my hand and feet. Need to say I had an whole appointment, yet a white lady comes in, and they immediately wanted Amber to hurry on my hands and feet! My money the same like everyone else! It’s a must I find another shop ASAP soon. I really like Amber service! It’s the managers!!!!! Please stop rushing y’all nail techs!!!!

This was my second time here after trying another salon in Allen. We recently moved here so I was in need of finding a nail salon. I was disappointed in the first salon I found after moving here but am so happy I found Nexgen! Im also new to dip nails and the attention to detail at this salon was amazing! They really take the time to make sure the powder is smooth from all angles and they do their best to help you find colors comparable to a photo you show them. I will definitely keep this nail salon! Julia did this set however the pumpkin was done be Angel, after showing her a photo once! Truly awesome.

Good work but honestly it’s over priced. No menu unless you ask, so you’ll literally walk out spending $30 more than you wanted too without even knowing it. They take anyone who walks in even if they don’t have enough workers. Also, you’ll be lingering around and moving from chair to chair so you’re never actually relaxing. The owner is never sitting still. She never finishes what she starts and is always in a rush to get you out. I mean they’re nice but it’s not a mellow experience. They took over 2.5 hours to do dip powder on natural nails and a basic pedicure. That’s because I was hopping from worker to worker lol. I don’t have this kind of time lol. Idk who does. When you check out you can’t leave less than a 20% tip lol. I’m used to 2 people working on me and relaxing with the visit still being under 1 hour. Idk man it’s just not it for me.

Visited this salon for the first time about a week with my mom. We both got pedicures and nexgen nails. Our pedicures were the only thing that were done just okay. This place is not very clean inside and 2 of my nails have already come off which is really bad especially when I didnt do much this week that could have caused this to happen. I wont even go back to get my nails fixed. Two stars is being very generous.

Fantastic visit, they have a bigger selection of Nexgen colors/effects, and know how to do them (some places put the effect, but the final result differs a lot), also they do this cheaper, the place is emptier, they had no problems doing my nails shape that I did ask... so far the best place from 5 places I did my NexGen nails. Pedicure also included a true feet massage, not only shins, as in most places.

My pedicure was amazing ~ but a little disappointed with my manicure. I pointed out some spots on one nail and they seemed a little irritated to fix it. Then tonight - after about an hour after leaving the salon - I noticed the tips of my dip powder nails started turning black. Not sure why but google says it wasnt properly sealed. Going to come in tomorrow to try to get it fixed will update.

1st experience and I love it. They take very good care of you. I will definitely be going back.

I have been looking for different nail salons that dont charge me over $80 and have good quality. I found this place and loved it. I get long coffin which is extra but i dont pay $80 anymore and they never break. I also am in loveee with all the variety of colors they have!!

Disappointed in hygienic practices from staff. Received a mani & pedi, the lady went between me and another customers pedi and never attempted to wash her hands or use sanitizer. She was also careless and filed one of my nails to the point it broke the skin and I bled. She barely spoke english, so almost impossible to communicate what I needed. There are better salons in Allen. Will not return or recommend to anyone.

The place seems great at first and is until you have an issue. My girlfriends nails all fell off in 3 days and they charged us again to get them put back on. They were extremely rude about it as well.

I loved coming here. After a bad experience in a different nail salon I didnt know what to expect. My nails where done by Nancy. She was very patient with me and explained everything. ( since I didnt know much about nails) She took the time to make my nails the same length and shape. She explain the prices and recommend designs and colors. The service was awesome and the guy on the front desk help me too. I highly recommend doing your nails here.

Best experience I’ve had at a nail salon! They were very kind to me and respectful. My nail tech was Juliann & Chloe did my pedi. They did an amazing job on both ! Juliann was very nice to me, held a conversation with me, & even recommended I get my nails dipped in this powder, so I trusted her and went with it. I love it btw😍. I even left them a $15 tip for the great service. I would definitely recommend this place if you want your nails on point !

I got dipped nails and by far the best set I have gotten in Allen. The technician didn’t cut me, the nails held up super long, and they were the perfect thickness and shape and smoothness. The technician also didn’t shave all my nail down which is great. My gel nails also last a really long time but the way the gel was applied my nails looked like they had a weird shape. The experience was good, place was clean, staff was a bit rushed and a tad aggressive, some technicians better than others, and I wish they served alcohol. Other than that a solid place for dipped nails.

Went here for the very first time today and I must say I absolutely loved it! Everyone here was super nice. Rick did my nails and he did an AMAZING job! I lived in many places and for the first time I got someone who can finally shape my nails exactly how I want it. I went very simple just because I wanted to try out the place first & I love it. Ive visited 15+ times and my nails have been perfect each visit. Vicky is amazing and is able to create each design Ive requested. Also, Alex is really good with design and is super patient. She did a fantastic job today. They are the reason I make the 30+ mile round trip to get my nails done. The salon is clean and everyone is friendly. Highly recommend!!

Not the quality I was hoping for based on some of the reviews and pics. Tried again b/c I saw they were under new management. Powder is see through at nails beds and paid an extra $5 for the long nails (sarcasm) and another $5 to clip the dead skin from around the cuticles. They did not disclose any prices to me.Coffin shape? Eh, most are kinda coffin I guess.Ladies: almost everyone else in town charges $35 including tips and dry cuticle clipping after drilling your nails. Pedicure left my feet feeling like super coarse sandpaper. I didnt come in with dry calluses but sure left with them. Will go home and fix that for them. :( I hate when pampering yourself means living with less than stellar nails and fixing your own feet. Boo. Looking at some of the other pics Im feeling ripped off.Positive: They were pretty friendly.

I normally go to a different salon but their schedule was full for the week so I thought I’d try this salon out since it had high reviews. BIG MISTAKE. The staff was not very friendly nor welcoming. I chose to do an ombré they had out on display. Definitely didn’t come out ombré not even close. I asked for coffin shape also not even close. I also got a pedi my toe chipped with in days then after a week one of my nails fell completely off. I spend a lot of money for a very bad service. If the staff was nicer I would have went back but honestly I didn’t want to be in a negative uncomfortable environment so I took the loss and went to my original nail salon and got everything redone. Such a waste of time & money.

First time going here and it was amazing. I walked in at 5:30 pm on a Monday and was seated immediately. Ryan was my nail technician and he did a great job. He was super quick, with attention to detail and my nails look and feel amazing. I will be back. Another reviewer said he had a different name but the tech she was speaking about was Ryan. He has a full sleeve on his right arm. Very friendly atmosphere and the salon is beautiful. Next time I’ll get a pedicure with my dip powder set.

Absolutely the best nail salon experience Ive ever had. The pedicure was therapeutic! Tammy was phenomenal. Rick gave me nails that make me feel so friggin goth fabulous that Im freaking out! I love this place now and will certainly be back.

She can’t move from one person to another, and also when she messed up she didn’t fix it she just left it. She also left and made another person take over which also screwed up. That was my second visit, BUT my first visit it stank in there and when I say stank I mean the bathrooms flooded. I walked in and said “what’s this smell?” And one guy said “oh it’s JUST that the sewer system backed up it’s no problem” and it sounded like it happens all the time. Thanks to Nextel Nails I now have some chunky nail polish on my nails, Thanks a bunch!

I usually like Tammy, but she keeps commenting on me that I have a lot of callus although they make me pay extra for that, she kerps saying she worked hard on my pedicure, which is not nice because Im paying a lot of money for this!!!!!! Im also not pleased with the shape at all, it looks like i got them done at home!!

They did my nails beautifully but spoke no more than 2 words to me. It was a bit of a language barrier with the gentleman who did my toes which I can understand. But everything I said to him was repeated to him in Vietnamese so I know my nail tech did know how to speak to me, she just didnt. I tried to be polite and make conversation but it was incredibly awkward. So basically I sat in silence, being ignored for an hr and I paid for it.

Yesterday was my second time coming to this nail salon and I really like it. The first time a guy did my nails and did an awesome job. Yesterday the owner did my nails and I love them! They did not rush me when I was trying to decide what color I wanted for my nexgen nails and both times they took their time. I’ve been to other nail salons where I feel rushed and the owner rushes their employees to finish so they can attend to another customers, which makes them do a sloppy job. I recommend coming here!

I went yesterday to get my nails done and i think the lady that did my nails was named “dana” i’m not sure but that lady made 4 of my fingers bleed i was mad😡 she wouldn’t even communicate with me and ask if she was hurting me and she knows i was bleeding because she was wiping the blood off with the towel. My nails hurt to this point where i just want to rip them off! i went in looking for a long coffin shaped nails and came out the salon with short coffin nails.😑 the only thing i like about my nails was the design. first time there did NOT GO WELL. also i really did like how the lady my friend got did my friends nails if i ever go back imma ask for her and not for dana😐

This is our second visit to Nexgen Nails and have been pleased with both services. Our first visit we had nexgen and pedicure and satisfied with both. Today’s visit my daughter had her nails done and was extremely pleased and their prices can’t be beat. We highly recommend.

My second visit I saw Michael for a pedicure and he was awesome too no complaints whatsoever. They never rushed through any portion and I believe they even time the massage portion. Both times I saw Barry for my nails and I won’t go to anyone else now. You can definitely tell he has a perfectionist in him somewhere because he took so much care in my nails. I always get coffin shape and some sort of extraness lol. And so far he has nailed it every time. If you’re headed into Nexgen Nails I definitely recommend Barry, Tammy & Michael!

Took me at the last minute and the entire staff was super nice!

I got Nexgen nails done and my 13 year old got a manicure on her long nails. The young man who did her manicure took his time and worked on nails carefully. The manicure was $15 and included a massage. I had the NexGen done for $35 and told the man what I didn’t like about the set I had on from another salon. My nails look great now. They are the length I like them, and they look very natural. My last set of NexGen from a different, popular Allen salon had an unnatural hump near the cuticle of each one. The gentleman here knew just what error in application caused that effect. The salon has all new equipment and is very clean. Nice staff. It is next door to Allen Dance Studio on West Stacey Road in the same strip mall as my favorite breakfast and lunch cafe, Sunview Cafe. I will be back to NexGen Nails in Allen. I bid on a gift certificate donated by them for the silent auction at the Foundation for Allen Schools Banquet. Sadly, I did not know about their salon until I saw their generous donations of services at the auction. Give NexGen nail salon a try!
