I had a facial performed and it was great. Took my son for acne and it is much improved.

I am dissatisfied. When the lady finished doing my nails I got up from the chair to go to pay and I realized that my nail had broken so I went to the lady and told her if she could fix it and she said yes and she told me she would give me $5 off for the mistake she had made, I told her not to worry about the mistake. After I left, almost 2 hours later while I was combing my hair I felt that one of my nails was broke so it started to bother me because they had done a bad job since I realized that the nails had stuck badly nails, and in less than a week I had broken 3 nails. It is not worth paying there.

I dont know my guys name but he was Vietnamese and pretty cool. He did an excellent job!

This place is permanently closed. It’s listed as temporary, but it’s permanent. They didn’t pay the rent, so they got locked out. We bought a $100 gift card at the beginning of March, and they knew then that they would be closing. They’re no better than a thief.

Nice insides with plenty of chairs. After using this nail salon since it opened, it has given less service as years went by. A spa pedicure used to take 45 min to an hour now takes 30 minutes with a quick massage. The lady today didnt take old polish off first and even buffed my nails with old polish on. When i questioned her, she said she did it differently now. Id give them 3 stars. After I use up my gift card, I will try another place. For same pedicure, I used to get hot towel after lotion. Not anymore. They probably changed it all and I didnt notice the change but the price is the same.

Ive been looking for a a nail tech for a year and half since moving to North Dallas that does great acrylics! Im very picky and wanted someone to take their time and whom was meticulous. A coworker referred me to Cindy. I loved that she had all the qualities that I was looking for. She is a very personable and I love my nails. Thank you Cindy for listening to what I wanted! 💅❤️

So I had been going to Oscars nail for way over 4 years, until my job relocated me. So since I was in town for spring break my 6 year old begged to go back to the place with the panda chairs. I didnt book an appointment I wanted to surprise my former nail technician Terry. Everything was fine, my daughter was treated like a tiny princess, and I was over joyed to see Terry again. While my daughters nails were drying I got up to pay my $40.00 plus tip, when I sat back down my tiny tot had messed up two of her toes. The nail technician fixed it we sat for a minute and then I gave the technician a tip, picked up my daughter and headed to the car. Then all of the sudden Terry was there saying did I get my daughters shoes I said yes, then she said did you pay, I said yes I have the receipt. I felt so disrespected, you think I would actually run out without paying holding my child. It just made me realize, people never will see you as a person, on as just another black person trying to skip out on a bill. In my 4 plus years coming to this salon I never once didnt pay, but now all of the sudden I am being accused of stealing. Definitely glad I moved will never be back to this location again.

Visited for the first time a week ago and was very happy. I made an appointment and they took me in right away. I had gel manicure and it turned out beautifully. The atmosphere was clean and relaxing. I highly recommend it!

Today was my first day going into oscar nails day spa, Tiffany did my pedicure. It was the best pedicure I have ever had, I was so pleased that I will be back for sure.Cant wait for her to do my pedicure again also I will bring my husband to get his pedicure done as well. My husband and I were very satisfied with our services. The tech were patient, professional and did a great job.

Twice now I have gotten a fungus on my big toes from this place. I thought it was a fluke the first time until it happened again. Then I noticed that only certain tools have been sanitized and come out in the little cleans wrapped bags.. but the clippers and some other tools come out in the open. Or they pull it out of a drawer or their plastic tubs they wheel around. Won’t be going back.

Using my husbands account but oh my gosh. I had the worst experience here. First off, I asked to just get toe nail polish put on, I asked the lady to help me find a light color and when she put it on my toe she yelled that it was too light and gave it to me and told me to go get a different color. She was scowling the whole time. When she took her tools out to cut and trim my toenails before the polish, I thought to myself “those instruments aren’t organized and they look like they are just thrown in that box, unsanitary...” I let it go, cause I figured it was fine. I used to go here all the time.One week later? A toe infection. 2 weeks later, I have another toe infection. Gross. And the lady was SO rude. They didn’t give me a drink. I asked the lady who put out my manicure stuff if I could have a drink please, she pointed at the fridge and said “yeah go get it.” I was like seriously? What great customer service y’all have...ugh...and my toenails were wet in those flip flop things and she makes me go and get a drink from the fridge. Ugh. Dumb.My nails were decent. I may have to go to the doctor becaue of my infections. thanks Oscar Nails.

This is an updated review. I use to enjoy coming to this place. They had great customer service and do a great job. But the last couple times I went I noticed how limited the staff is and how rude they are all of a sudden. I was late by 5 mins to my appt and the nail tech Angie comments, with an attitude- you are late... As if they have never made customers wait, which come on ladies you know if you go here or to any nail salon they do at one point or another... this is just one instance I am mentioning.... Also I know Covid is stressful times for all but I have stopped going here and won’t return because the customer service was that bad! Cindy and Angie are very rude!! Overall, disappointed with this place now and I don’t reccomend them.

My mom and I come here regularly but yesterday was definitely the last time. I have cuts all over my cuticles because it’s mightve been the most painful manicure ever. They’re not hygienic with their tools and they love to charge however they feel fit for the same service with every visit. I paid $5 extra with nexgen to have my shape changed to almond but I never paid the extra after because I kept the shape the same. Yesterday they decided my mom and I owed $10 extra even though we didn’t change anything we regularly do. When we said we weren’t going to pay that, the technician Angela got loud and rude with the both of us. After arguing quite a bit, she said fine I’ll make an exception this time but not next time. When we tried to leave a tip, she was unbelievably rude and angry that she threw our money back at us and said I don’t want it. That’s ok, we’re never coming back to your salon so there won’t be a next time.

Please stay away from this place. Especially a lady named Tina. I have been to several nail salons and never am a big complainer. But never have I gotten a manicure/nexgen that’s sooo painful. I left with so many cuts on my fingers & they hurt from her being so harsh with the sponge & filers. I’ve never wished for a spa time to just end just bc I was miserable. She also seems like a racist who has no manners. I was never looked at my face not asked how I want my nails done. Their hygiene is also horrible. They just dipped instruments in the water that your feet was in & put them back!

I used to love this place but the last two times have been very disappointing. I took my daughter and we asked for 2 pedicures. She was given a terrible kid pedicure and was still charged $20 and that is not what she wanted or asked for. And when I told them after that was not right they didnt care and didnt offer to do it right but still charged me $20.

I go to this place often and get this one girl everytime that is amazing. However, this past experience was less than amazing. I got a man this time, who wasnt wearing a name tag. I had seen everyone around me be asked if they would like a drink, however mine didnt think twice about me. I had to ask him and he said five minutes to which turned to 15 minutes later. Now I only get so often to relax and I was excited for relaxing time as I have had at this place before. The man rushed through my manicure as if it were a race. My finger even started to bleed and he said it was because my cuticles were too dry, yet he kept grinding away at them quickly. He would constantly push my hand away when he was done, and didnt even offer me any type of design. No care, no compassion for what he was doing. Now I am redoing my nails at another nail salon wasting me another 50 bucks. Ill probably be back, but only by appointment with that girl that actually takes her time with me.Update: I set an appointment this time with the salon to be there at 3. The man on the phone said that would be no problem. I had an hour for lunch and I wanted to get them done within that time frame which is why I set the appointment. When I got there, the lady was nice and let me sit down. I picked my colors and started to wait in my chair. I was facing the front and a lady walked in with no appointment. She got seated and right away they started on her nails. I figured, ill wait a little longer, it was busy, so I figured my technician was just held up. 20 minutes later, still no one. I went to the front and asked when my nail lady would be available. She then said, we got so many walk ins at the time of your appointment and you didnt get here until after 3 so we seated them first. First of all, I was there at exactly 3, second, what is the point of me setting an appointment if they dont honor it. I walked out and will never EVER go back.

The polish they applies for my toes during my last pedicure didnt even saty on for a week and today I walked in to get polish change. Even though they were not busy, I was made to wait 30+mins and none of the techs wanted to do since it was not a full pedicure. They tried to convince me to do a full pedicure and when I said no due to lack of time. They asked me to wait again. I just left, very dissappointed in the service !

Tiffany did my toes and she was extremely nice with a wonderful experience. i tipped her $30 bucks and i dont think its enough for all the works she has done. Thanks Oscar Nails.

I was in Allen for the week for business travel and came across Oscar Nails Day Spa while I was searching on yelp for a recommendation. Im very glad I came to Oscar Nails Day Spa!I came on a Thursday afternoon. There was no wait for a gel mani and regular pedicure. I was very happy with both my mani and pedi. The nail staffs are very nice, They always took care of me when I needs. I fell exciting a lot. The place is very clean and affordable. Customer service is a high priority here and I love that!I would highly recommend Oscar Nails Day Spa!

STAY AWAY! Honestly if you dont have a nail tech here that you already love, then dont waste your time here. The management is HORRIBLE. The service is awful. Their attitudes are basically entitled, lazy, and annoyed to be doing you any service. ZERO customer service. Ive shown up on FOUR separate occasions, all of which i had booked appointments for, only to be told my tech was double booked and couldnt keep my time, she already left, or she took a walk-in. Seriously...dont let just anyone answer the phones if they dont know how to book clients. Ive tried several different techs here and i can tell you there are only two people of the 20+ that can actually do nails. NOW...3 years ago, this salon was THE SALON...because the owners actually cared about clients, cleanliness, appearances, and overall service quality. TODAY...non-existent. Not clean, disorganized, every other light bulb is burnt out or doesnt match the ones next to it(seriously), the ceiling is peeling off, none of the decor, drapes, or walls have been cleaned or dusted in 3 years, equipment is shoved anywhere it can fit on the salon floor rather than being organized in the back, half of the time there is no music playing so you just sit in a stale silent salon while everyone stares around at subtitled TVs, the A/C is at a stagnant 80 degrees, and DONT, i repeat DONT drink from their slushee machine...its pretty much never cleaned out or has fresh mix in it. ITS GUARANTEED there will be a co-worker walk up around you and start up a conversation with your tech in vietnamese rather than being courteous and speaking English so the clients dont feel uncomfortable. No dress-code(Ive seen too much *ss-crack from people doing pedis).. Ive watched techs do nails and toss their tools back in their kits and start on the next one without sterilizing or getting another set...GROSS(HEALTH RISK MUCH?)..OH and if you happen to ever have a criticism about their work, be ready to get attitude. I took the time to come on and say all of this to save the readers their trouble...believe me, just keep looking, there is a salon on the east side of 75 on mcdermott, on the south-east corner(.2miles away) that is amazing.

I absolutely loved this place when they first opened. The owners were always there and made sure everything was taken care of!However, the last two times I have been in I walked out upset. First time was when I asked for acrylic nails specifically but the nail tech did nexgen instead. I had no idea until I went to pay seeing as they did my nails same as always. Charged me the nexgen price which was more than the acrylic I had asked for. Had no response to my displeasure other than they did next gen so you must pay for that.I had been going so regularly that I blew it off as a fluke and returned. This time the lady convinced me to do nexgen yet did them in the wrong color after I explained that I needed a subtle color.By time she did my first hand I questioned the hot pink color and explained I couldnt go to interviews with that color. She redid them scowling at me the whole time.Not even 3 days later they began to lift and then two broke off. Upon going in to get them fixed I was met with horrible customer service.I was quoted a 15 min wait for someone to be available, which was fine. But after 40 minutes and me questioning the front desk I was finally taken to a chair.From there I had one women come up to me and looked at my nails and asked if I needed a fill. I replied no, that it had not even been a week and I just needed the two broken ones fixed. After speaking to a couple women in their language clearly irritated, she asked me who did my nails. She also implied I was lying and that it had been longer since my nails had growth on them. My 9 year old daughter even replied that we were in the prior weekend. I pointed out the woman that did them how bold faced lied and said no it wasnt her.Both women walked away to help other clients and I was left sitting again for another 5-10 minutes with no help. Finally, after hearing them all talking about me (you dont have to know the language to know you arent being talked about kindly) I got up to leave.I asked the from desk if I could talk to the owner and she replied she wasnt there and that she wasnt answering her calls. I walked out knowing they werent going to help me. I had spent over $120 the weekend before in getting mine and my daughters nails done. And then upon trying to get the sub par job fixed I got horrible customer service.All this and I couldnt even talk to a manager.

My wife frequents this place and asked if I could bring our daughter here before her first day back to school. The front was already full with girls climbing all over the only 2 seats in the area, so I sat with my daughter to help her pick out her nails. They asked us politely asked us to move down one seat so we did, then we were asked to move again, so we did. I was then asked to move completely out of the way. I figured I would hang out in the mens restroom until it was time to go and I found the woman who moved me all those times past. She said oh you can wait in the seating area which had already been taken up by 2 other people. I kept making my way to the mens bathroom and tried to open the door, it was locked but opened immediately and out pops a girl. I go in for a second only to have someone knock on the door needing in...it was another girl. I told my daughter id be outside waiting in the car for her to come with me till it was time to go. I saw my daughter come over to my car but following behind her was the girl who did her nails asking her to pay. I got out of the car and told the girl that we wouldnt be doing this if she hadnt kept moving me so much...Ive never felt more embarrassed and disrespected or unwanted in an establishment in my life. I was always in the way (even if I wasnt) no matter where I went and there are lots of places to sit If youre getting something done. Not for people waiting for those who are getting things done.... You have a 2 seat waiting room for a 40+ seat salon.

I only goto get my nails done with 2 people at this location . Vince (who does one hell of a job with nexgen nails) and Tiffany (who does one of the best pedicures ive ever had done ...ever!) I honestly wouldnt go anywhere else to get my nails done. Verry happy customer.

I get the next gen and they always do too many layers which make my nails look bumpy.

I decided to use a different nail salon than i usually go to, because Im currently going thru chemotherapy due to breast cancer. I.asked if I could have them put a over lay of acrylic on my toe nails ....other patients in my support group have swore that this helped to save their nail from falling off /turning black . So I asked the lady doing my pedi /nails how much to add a Lil acrylic to each toe nail?? She said $35 additional to what I was already paying for Next gen nails and my pedi . I said thats too much, just let me talk to the manager...two people came over, a guy and a woman...both said $35, and asked me why I want that ? Are ur toe nails weak?? I said No, Im trying to prevent them from falling off as I go thru chemo. They both asked do u have cancer .....I said yes, they both said Im sorry .....the guy then said Ill charge you $25 then ....REALLY ?? not much better....I asked $5 per foot ...its not a new set of acrylic nails, just a Lil acrylic put on the bed of each toe nail ...to help me preserve my toe nails. But he said sorry thats a lot of work and thats what it cost maam ....WOW!!!where is the compassion?? Im not asking to pay nothing.....just not the cost of getting a new set of acrylic nails . Just a Lil acrylic put on each small toe nail bed.Needless to say .....I will not be back here !!The only next gen mani & pedi theyll ever get out of Me!!!Having this disease has been so humiliating and life defining as it is....dont add to my humiliation by not showing a Lil compassion !! And raping me $$$$ cancer is doing that too !!!Thanks ......
