I cracked my veneer on my front tooth on a Saturday evening, and they were able to see me on the following Sunday at 9am to do a seemless bonding repair that took less than an hour. As a professional Musician (trombone player) I was able to perform at 1pm the same day. They really came through for me.
My experience here was nothing short of memorable and incredibly frustrating. I was having a dental emergency so I was appreciative of the availability on a Sunday and in viewing the website this couldnt be anything but promising and the hour and a half drive would be worth it. When I arrived in the office, I still had high hopes regardless of the lack of receptionist for assistance and the lack of available seating to comfortably wait to receive the paperwork I needed to fill out. The receptionist showed up after about 10 minutes and she promptly informed me she would be with me in a minute. After filling out the paper work I paid $135 before I could be seen. I was escorted to a room that had a socket detached from the wall with a pile of cords coming out and some kind of plastic covers sitting useless with the cords. I still kept high hopes and put my faith in their practice. I waited another 5 minutes and was escorted to a chair where I had my x-rays taken. I was then shown back to the discomforting room to wait another 10 or so minutes. Dr. Khon then graced me with her presence and gave me the option of a root canal or an extraction. She stated the extraction would be difficult because my wisdom tooth was pushing against the tooth causing me pain and that a small incision would have to be made in order to extract it. I was never even shown my x-rays to have verification that what she was saying was factual. I asked for an estimate on the root canal and she disappeared again for another 10-15 minutes. The receptionist came in after confirming my care credit account and gave me the estimate, which I could not afford. I stated I would like to do the extraction and was then informed that I need to go somewhere else, to an oral surgeon, to do so. Mind you it states on their website they do surgical extractions and they remove wisdom teeth. So not only was I denied a service, but I was misinformed. The referral she gave me stated that I wanted my wisdom tooth removed which was not even discussed nor did I agree upon this. Fun fact: oral surgeons work off of referrals. So when I went to an oral surgeon the next day they werent going to help me because what I was telling them and what was written on the referral were two different stories. On top of that I couldnt get a hold of Dr. Khon to get a different referral because they were closed. Thankfully the doctor I went to agreed to do the extraction because I was in so much pain. They numbed me up and within seconds my tooth was out. No incision was needed and he considered it a simple extraction. Dr. Khon spent less than five minutes with me, turned me away for a simple procedure while telling me it was complicated, prescribed me vicodin that would only last me a day (thankfully I found a place to take me the next day), and gave me a referral for a service I didnt want or need.
