I have been going to Dr. Truvan for the past year and a half and I have nothing but great things to say. Dr. Truvan and his staff are very nice and welcoming and they never make you feel rushed (as I have experienced at other dental offices). I am incredibly impressed with the quality of dental work provided by Tony Truvan. He spent time explaining my dental procedure step by step, giving me understanding and the confidence that proposed dental treatment plan is the best one for me. Tony also offered alternative treatment solutions and explained the benefits and drawbacks of every proposed procedure. I was also impressed with the amount of latest technological dental tools that Dr. Truvan used during my visit! Doctor Truvan not only took the detailed Xrays of my teeth, however he also took photos of my tooth while completing the dental work. Awesome experience! Where has this office been?!Carla is nice and friendly! The hygienist (unfortunately I didn’t quite catch her name but she wore the Hello Kitty scrub cap) is super amazing. That was the best cleaning I have ever had. She was super gentle, made sure I was comfortable and explained things to me along the way.Dr Truvan is a reflection of his staff because he and his whole team are worth the 5 stars.

Ever since I was recommended by a friend of mine to this new dentist when moving to the area, I have been extremely pleased with my annual appointments. Dr. Truvan and staff are truly amazing! Very friendly, always pleasant, and very communicative and willing to assist if any changes need to be made to appointments. It has only been a 1.5 years since joining this new dentistry but I would highly recommend anyone looking!

I was relieved, impressed, and satisfied with my visit! She already had verified my insurance information, asked me a few questions, and they chatted with me until it was my appointment time.My hygienist, Samantha, was upfront and honest with me on how I could improve my dental hygiene, but in a way that showed me she cared about my health. She was extremely sweet and also got to know me through questions about myself and my family. When she was finished, my teeth felt so clean and I was equipped with the mental tools to keep increasing my dental health.I met Dr. Truvan who examined my teeth and who also took the time to ask me even more questions and gave suggestions so my mouth could feel its best on a day to day basis. That was the longest that a dentist has ever examined me and took the time to make sure his patient was satisfied with their cleaning.Overall, I took the time to write all this to encourage you to give Dentistry of Alexandria a try! I was so hesitant to go to a new dentist that I legitimately would wait for my trips back to Texas to get my teeth cleaned. I’ve been going to dentists for nearly 50 years and Dr. Truvan is the best I’ve ever seen. He’s very knowledgeable and great at communicating what my options are. He partners with me to make decisions about my care, which I really appreciate. And I never feel rushed when I’m speaking with him, which is rare these days. I also have unusual allergies and he goes above and beyond to ensure that I don’t have reactions.Gina is fantastic! Both she and Dr. Truvan are very kind people who make you feel comfortable. Dr Truvan is simply amazing. When I first saw him, several of my teeth were missing and severely yellowed. In just a few visits, he has truly done wonders for my teeth. My teeth are now restored and whitened, and I have a million dollar smile that I flash every chance I get. He was accommodating to my schedule as well a my wallet, and I highly recommend him!

The clinic is clean and welcoming. The staff and hygienists are professional, friendly, and know what they are doing. Im so happy that I found Dr. Tony and Gina on my first shot at a new dentist upon moving to Alexandria. They are both so warm and friendly. Dr. Truvan is gentle and explains what he is doing. Ive been a patient of Dr. Truvan for over 10 years. He is wonderful dentist who really cares about his patients comfort and their understanding of what he does. Over the years, he has performed a lot of different dental work that I needed, and I can tell you, he is very skilled at what he does. I have a lot of old fillings and work that hes keeping an eye on but he has never pushed me to do unnecessary work, only whats needed. His advice on home care has made a huge difference for me and now Im not afraid to go to he dentist to see what he finds :-)Im thrilled that Dr. Truvan started his own practice - and so close to my home in Alexandria. It was my first experience at this location. I had pain and was looking for a good dentist. I called them and described my issues. They offered me an appointment at the end of the same day although the schedule was full. They were so friendly and helpful. The office is very well equipped and also prepared for kids (tablet over the dental treatment chair). The doctor was very nice and examine my teeth closely. He explaint me everthing and was very understandingly. Overall I felt in good hands. I will come back. Overall professionall.
