Dr. Park is the absolute best dentist! Let’s be real, who really likes going to the dentist? But she is so caring and always makes me feel comfortable and at ease. She is thorough and patient and I never had to worry about my bite being off or something being wrong with the work she does because she is so meticulous. Her staff are always so friendly and the office is always so clean. I recommend Dr. Park to everyone!

I went in after pouring rain driving almost an hour today and asked for hygiene on my appointment time, but was sent home without one. All because I needed to schedule a deep cleaning with another doctor. I have no idea when that appointment can happen as we are in deep Covid-19 crisis. I insisted on having my teeth cleaned at least there but to no avail. She may be a good dentist by skill but has no flexibility in helping patients getting what they need then and there!

I’ve been going to this dentist for years, and I’ve always had wonderful service! The office is very clean, they have massaging chairs and TVs on the ceiling! Service is usually very quick, and the staff is very friendly. Dr. Park is wonderful and is very knowledgeable and efficient. They also offer weekend appointments which is great so I don’t have to take time off work. Highly recommend!

She is amazing..she took uninterrupted time with each of her patients, whether they were New Patients or regular recall. Her office has the BEST software that is most up to date. Her staff is amazing..very considerate and helpful to patients and to me. Her office sterilization is more than up to standards. Her standard of care and concern for her patients to receive the best and appropriate care is her main concern. She does NOT over diagnose. I’ve being going to Green Dental since it opened. Dr. Park used to do my cleaning but now that her practice has grown. I’m very happy to share that their dental hygienist Michelle is the best. I have sensitive teeth and she is excellent, patient, and very delicate when doing my cleaning. Her positive and joyful attitude is contagious. All the staff including the front desk personnel/office manager are all attentive and welcoming. I feel at ease when I walk in.I would highly recommend this place if you are new in town or looking for a good Dental place.

Very friendly staff. The hygenist I had this time was probably my favorite, very detailed and offered lots of tip and suggestions. I wish I would have gotten her name. The dentist is great. I really like her. I tried another dentist once and ended up coming back.

Avoid this dentist at all costs!! I was told I had 10 cavities and I foolishly allowed them to operate on one. Since the procedure 2 years ago, my tooth has been sensitive. I have visited 2 other dentists since, each of which said permanent damage was done at this office and that I have 0 cavities. They never would have operated.Now over 2 years after my last visit, I noticed a debit on my credit card. I spoke to Dr. Park who is unable to determine the reason of the debit. All around this place is an absolute nightmare.

Im probably crazy for already writing a review without even going to this office yet, however, the receptionist I spoke to was extremely nice and accommodating. Most receptionists I speak to rush me off of the phone which I understand because they are busy, but from this woman that wasnt the case at all. Her customer service is exceptional! Definitely looking forward to my appointment! :)

Had a minor dental emergency for my daughter and they saw her within the hour. They even knocked out her annual exam and cleaning which was scheduled for two weeks from today. Very friendly, professional, and competent! Highly recommend!

The actual dental services were fine, but I have had misunderstandings with billing--- hidden fees, difficulties in obtaining detailed receipts, and such.Im fairly new in town, and I think this office is not a part of my Dental Dental insurance plan. Ive never had these problems in other states at other dental offices. Something isnt right. Will make the switch.

The best denist Ive ever been seen by. The staff are always very friendly and Ive never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to be taken back. And this isnt a take you back and abandon you for half an hour place, They begin work immediately. Dr. Park always explains the treatments and gives great guidance on preventative care in a way that is easy to follow. The office is bright and clean, and theres always nice music playing. Its almost a relaxing experience. Would recommend to anyone.

I love Green Dental. My most recent cleaning was with a hygienist named Michelle. She was professional, funny, reassuring, and very dedicated! She gave me excellent information regarding ways to improve my dental health. I’ve nevertheless had a hygienist provide such great service! I have a severe phobia to any dental procedures but Dr. Park and the staff are always reassuring and very calming. The nitrous helps as well! Great job!!

I have never said this in my life, but here goes: This is BY FAR the best dental care I have ever had. And just to provide some context: I spent 10 years receiving orthodontia care in addition to regular dental visits.The whole office is calm, kind, and professional. In addition, extremely thorough. AND motivational. As a perk-- if you show that you have been properly flossing and brushing, they will reward you will a free tooth whitening kit (including a molded tooth tray).I actually dont think there are enough stars on google to show how much I appreciate this dental office. My first visit was, well, delightful. The staff work as a team, are friendly, and the exam was thorough and suggestions made. I cant remember the last time a dental office probed for pockets. This one did. Treatment needed was clearly explained and options given for completion.

My first visit was a consultation. The staff was very kind and attentive. I was seen immediately and walked through every facet of a first visit (x-rays, imaging, explanations).The facility is very clean and welcoming. There is coffee available as soon as you walk in. I did not use the facilities so I cannot comment on them. There are televisions available in each treatment room for the patients entertainment.

I had my first visit, for a routine cleaning. I am very impressed with the ease of scheduling an appointment, the convenience of appointments outside of regular business hours, the friendly staff and the thoroughness of the examination and cleaning procedure. Ive been a patient for 3.5 years. Today I got a tooth pulled. I am not proud of that. Dr. Park gave me options today that included allowing her to pull it or go see an Oral Surgeon. There was no way I was leaving her office when I trust her so much. I was nervous but I trust her more than anyone Ive ever trusted to complete dental work. I am very found of Dr. Park and how caring and gentle her care is with each patient. I was equally impressed when I walked into her office today. Dr. Park was personally calling a patient just to see how he was doing after a visit. I joked with her about that .... what Dr. calls just to check on you anymore. Very nice. Very much appreciated.

Staff was great. My only complaint was that they asked me to get there early and do all my paperwork before, so I did both of those. When I got there, they said their system didn’t save half of my paperwork and even though I filled out my paperwork again before my appoitment time, they called me back several minutes late. I was there for two full hours without actually seeing the dentist herself, and I had to ask to leave because I had a separate appointment and didn’t plan to be there for that long. So now I have to go in again in order to actually meet the dentist. I was treated really well by all of the staff and I thought the services were great, it just ended up being a huge time suck which I wasn’t prepared for.

I have dental anxiety but Green Dental set my tensions at ease with kind receptionist, a lovely and stylish lobby and short wait time. The chair for my appointment was actually a massage chair, which I think helped me to relax while they did the work. After the appointment, they printed out a sheet clearly explaining all of the fees, what my insurance covers and what I owe. I appreciate their transparency. Best dental experience Ive had.

I recently needed some pretty serious dental work, and cannot say enough kind things about Green Dental of Alexandria! The doctors and staff were cheerful, knowledgeable, and very professional throughout the whole experience. The office is also spotless, high-tech, and welcoming with massage chairs and cable TVs in each exam room. Dentist and staff all seem very knowledgeable and personable. This was my first visit, but it will not be my last. Some recommendations were made for a filling replacement and a mouth guard - and I believe that I will follow through on both, although I do have some questions about the mouth guard. The office is a little tricky to find, but the receptionist was very kind in assisting me to find the facility.

I was given a gift certificate for dental cleaning. when I arrived they tried to upsell a deep clean but said there isnt enough time to do one. I forgot about it for a while and when I called back the doctor said they wouldnt honor the gift certificate (that has no expiration on it) when I said this seems like a bait and switch and unprofessional business practices they had their rude receptionist call, she repeatedly talked over me anytime I tried to say a word. I would figure you just pay the difference between a regular cleaning and a deep cleaning but apparently they prefer taking peoples money and not actually providing services.yes- you can honor a gift certificate for DENTAL CLEANING instead of refusing to provide services that have already been paid for.

Ive seen Dr. Park for a consultation only, but so far had a wonderful experience and trust she will take care of me when I come back for treatment. She was thorough in her explanations, and referred me to an amazing Oral Surgeon to take care of an issue outside of her area. ALL of her staff was super friendly, professional, and personable, the office is in pristine condition, and overall you can tell patient care is number 1 on their list.The only downside is parking can be a bit tricky, but when I called they easily directed me to the best place to park and I had no issues.

Quick, friendly, easy and thorough -- a wonderful experience and GREAT with kids. I brought in my 15 month old after she chipped a tooth. They got us in same day (within an hour) and we fantastic and easy to work with.

Overall an okay experience but I wont be going back. There are Invisalign posters/signs everywhere and the dentist put more focus on recommending Invisalign than she did on my cleaning. I had braces already and she recommended a $6,250 product to move one tooth slightly. As a dentist office they should be recommending the service of teeth straightening and providing information for all the available products rather than focusing on one product that happens to be the most expensive option in the market. It is clear this dentist office is paid big bucks to refer to Invisalign.

I stopped in with my 19 year old daughter to schedule a cleaning. We recently moved to the area and it was time for her check up. The Dentist was at the desk, made our appointment and was very polite and made sure to mention the free teeth whitening they offer with first cleaning (if no cavities).My daughter went to her appointment alone and came home distraught holding a three page action plan for work needing to be done. She was told she had 12 cavities, but the Dentist wasnt too concerned because they are small. I knew this could not possibly be the case. I immediately called our longtime Dentist from another state. He spoke with me on phone, ensuring me that I am correct, my daughter has what he considers teeth with extra goofy surfaces that have pits but they are in no way cavities. He assured me he would personally come into the office to see me daughter in our hometown next month to verify his conclusion.With that being said, my daughter couldnt stop talking about the massage chair, tv on the ceiling and cool place. Yes, those things are cool but not good medicine! Get a second opinion if your are told you have a mouth full of cavities.

I’ve been going to Green Dental for three years now and have been quite happy with their staff and services. They send reminders, they are gentle and understanding with those of us who are total chickens, and most importantly I don’t think they recommend unnecessary procedures. My only recommendation for improvement would be that they stop handing out mini water bottles as they are terrible for the environment. Maybe they could have water coolers with paper cups available instead?

I paid 2,5 k for a deep cleaning and re-crown 9 month ago. But I have been in pain all the time. I visit again and Dr told me I need to do implant. In the beginning of checking procedure, Dr told that it was positive to do crown rather than implant. Now, she told that she didnt guarantee it so it is not her fault. She didnt even show any sorry attitude. Very frustrating...So, I dont think if you have serious dental problem, like root canal or crown maybe this place will be bad experience. I dont know for simple general treatment and cosmetic work in terms of other reviews.

Dr. Park is the doc to see in Alexandria. I am new to the area and needing a bit of dental work, Dr. Park created a plan outlining what we will do and when. Its nice when a doc is well versed in managing expectations. Not only that, she is a state of the art dentist. The staff at Green Dental get an A++ in my book.

So I was a patient here in 2017. Staff is nice and it costs a lot of money like most dentists out there. I since then switched dentists. So a crown broke recently in my mouth that I got done here. It only lasted a little over a year. The dentist I went to now said the crown should have lasted longer then this. I am kind of disappointed because I spent a lot of money back in 2017 when I went here. I would not go here again.

Dr. Hye Park is an excellent dentist. She is soft-spoken and she has gentle yet well-trained hands. The reception staff (her name is Sue) is very nice and professional. The dental clinic is clean and has state-of-the-art equipment. The location is steps away from King Street train station. I definitely recommend this clinic.

Great experience at the office this morning. Loved the massage chair. My only criticism (meant to be constructive) is that the hygienist who did my cleaning didnt offer me any mouthwash or water for swishing and cleaning up. I realized after leaving the office that I had residue from the polish all over my face. Embarrassing!

One of the best dental clinics Ive been to thus far. I love the fact that they give an incentive (free tooth whitening) for good dental hygiene and their service is impeccable. The hygienist was super sweet however the front desk lady (had shoulder length blond hair) was extremely rude and talked down to me about my dental treatment plan. She made the experience the worst experience ever. I just moved and was looking for a new dentist but will not be going here any longer due to her explanation of the treatment I needed. The explanation felt much like selling a car and “sales” to me rather than medical treatment. I would like to note as well they went off OLD X-rays that were given to them (from my pervious dentist) and did not take new ones at their office while I was there-which I thought was odd as a new patient. She expressed no sense of sensitivity. It’s a shame one person at the end can ruin your entire experience.

Dr. Park is an amazing dentist! I drive all the way from Takoma Park because the office staff is all friendly, they stick to the schedule, and she does a great job! In August, I fell and chipped all four of my front teeth. The office staff worked with me on paying, and Dr. Park came in on her day off to help with fixing my teeth. The office, and Dr. Park rock!

I have to edit my review and agree with others about the selling up of unnecessary services. I was told I needed 2 crowns. No problem. Except, I wasn’t told one of them was the crown I had just gotten last year. She replaced it and didn’t say a thing. Didn’t tell me there was an issue with it or anything. Then she recommended invisible braces. I go to the dentist 2X a year for the last 20 years and not one dentist ever recommend that. Even at my visit just 6 months before. Then I noticed she has the commercial for Invisalign on a loop in the waiting area. Of course! I will still say the service from the beginning to the end was great but that is only to disarm you because Dr. will recommend services you don’t need at all. Just go someplace else. If they think you have money, they will screw you!

The hygienist did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. It sounded like it should have been painful, but it was quite gentle and I hardly felt a thing! Dr. Park is really quite nice, too. They have computers with internet and a Keurig for us in the waiting room. I keep recommending decaf, but they have yet to invest in that. Theyve still got water in the mini-fridge for us instead!

I cannot stress enough how dishonest this practice is! I came in for a routine checkup, and the dental hygienist proceeded to tell me that my gums had inflammation and I would need scaling. I got scared and agreed to the extra cleaning. I was then told that it would not be covered entirely by my insurance, and that I would need to pay extra. She said I would need to come in again in two weeks to check on my gums. When I asked if insurance would cover the follow-up appointment, I was told it would not.The dentist then came in to discuss my teeth, and had her own plethora of problems. She said I had a cross bite and a cavity as well, so I would need extra procedures to get this fixed. At this point, I realized this practice just wants to perform as many procedures as possible to collect more money. I have been to the dentist 6 months ago and was told I have healthy teeth, and now suddenly I have all these problems. I decided this would be my first and last visit at this practice. When I asked if I can have my free tooth whitening they so heavily advertise, I was told I would first need to have my cavity filled. Guess I shouldnt be surprised.Please listen to the so many negative reviews of this practice! This place is more interested in the health of your wallet than that of your mouth.

Im from the generation that grew up before fluoride and sealants were available to prevent tooth decay. Every one of my molars was filled during adolescence. Consequently, I have had many crowns over the years. Dr. Park recently replaced a crown on a worn-down molar: not an easy task. She didnt have much tooth left to work with, but she did an amazing job! Thank you, Dr. Park and crew.

End of story.I originally went to green dental because I was told they accepted my insurance and they had flexible hours that worked with my schedule.I was MISDIAGNOSED and I spent almost $2,000 on treatments that I did not need. The dentist told me that I had 8 cavities, severe gingivitis, and periodontitis. Obviously this is a significant amount of dental work, but I was so worried that I immediately began their recommended treatment plan.The dentist filled four of the cavities and had to REDO THE FILLINGS 3-4 times EACH because I had so much pain and sensitivity that I couldnt even eat or drink. She even recommended that I get 4 root canals to deal with the sensitivity. After this, I immediately discontinued services and went to another dentist.The new dentist that I visited walked me through the X-rays (taken by Green Dental) and a new set of X-rays taken that day. He showed me how I had NO EVIDENCE OF EVER HAVING PERIODONTITIS. Furthermore, he said that I NEVER HAD ANY CAVITIES, and that the fillings Dr. Park did were not needed in the first place.I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS DENTAL PRACTICE AND I RECOMMEND YOU SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND DO THE SAME. Furthermore, I filed an official complaint with the Dental Association of Virginia because this type of behavior is not only suspicious, but is downright wrong.

The dentist, Dr Park very confident and very good in dealing with patients. . Also the office is very nicely well done in a contemporary and very friendly and stress reducing atmosphereThe dentist hygienist was the best also

This is the best dentist office ever!!I broke a tooth late Friday night and saw their office while I was walking to the store - I went in and they were open on a Saturday morning. Next surprise was the fact they made time to see me, a new patient with no appointment, in about 30 minutes.I had an appointment to have a crown fitted but realized I would be out of town at the time. I called and spoke to Dr. Park and she made an 8AM the following day appointment to fit the crown.I cannot recommend EVERYONE in this office highly enough. Very professional and very, very nice people.

It was actually a pleasure visiting the Green Dentals office. The workers were so friendly and calmed any anxiety I may have had. I also found the doctor to be just as friendly. Good first impression. The only bad thing (if bad) I had to say was that I think the prices are a little high, but I guess thats because of the chair that massages you as the dentist is working on your teeth. The office is calming and beautiful.

I’ve lived all over the country, and Green Dental is by far the best I’ve ever been to.

I typically have a good experience when I come here, but my last visit was not very good. I came in for a simple cleaning and ended up being there for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The hygienist was running 15 minutes late, and once she got to me - I was due for my xrays. For at least 30 minutes they were struggling to get the machine to work and they must have pressed the button about 20 times which makes me scared - all of that radiation is not healthy. I would have given them fewer stars, but since this is the first bad visit in 3 years, Ill assume it was just a bad day for them. And pray to God I dont get sick.
