I’m a single mom and school teacher on a limited budget, so when I called after my former housekeeper moved away and a recent surgery had made certain chores extremely difficult, I was so grateful that this service was willing to price match what I was used to paying; however, this didn’t end up actually being the case. For the first scheduled cleaning, I was told the owner would be the one doing the job. On the day of, this was not so, and the girl hired would be 20-30 mins late. I ended up having to reschedule. On our rescheduled date, another employee (still not the owner as I was originally told), arrived 30 mins past the scheduled time and informed me that she was taking the job due to the “issues” the company had been having with the girl originally scheduled. She then proceeded to tell me how she was not supposed to be working and how the job interrupted her Saturday plans. As I showed her around, she proceeded to tell me all the “extras” I would need to pay for including the stairs, my loft area (which they considered an additional bedroom), etc. None of this was mentioned in the original quote from the owner. Over the phone, I was asked what cleaning products I would prefer and the employee had none of these on hand, mentioning she had to “stop at Dollar Tree to get stuff because she had not planned on working.” (This was the 3rd or 4th time she mentioned this). As the bill increased and she mentioned once more how the job inconvenienced her day, I canceled on the spot and will not work with nor recommend this company.
