Staff theres always professional, kind and do a great job

They do great foot work. But they mail jobs they do are awful on the hands. They grind your cuticles off instead of soaking them and pushing them back. They rush, they do not take there time. This is the first time I’ve ever gotten my nails done and I’m so upset about this. They cut me multiple times. 1/10 not happy.

Great place to go get a mani and pedi

The gel manicure barely lasted a week. The pedicure felt good but once we got the water to a warmer temperate. The lady that did my pedicure was really nice.

If they want to do an amazing job they will. If they dont feel like it then be prepared for your nail to only be on about 8 days and they should last 2 weeks or more.

I went in and loved the place took both my girls and got all of our nails done. My older daughter and i both got a full set gel nails and my youngest just gel paint. After only 4 days my nails are popping off and my younger daughters polish is chipping off in chunks. When i called i asked only to fix mine and they said they wouldnt fix them i spent 115$ in there for 4 days worth of nails. I had such high hopes but they have such low quality.

The nail technicians at Lonnies do the best job of anyplace Ive tried in town. I have never waited for more than a few minutes. The salon is kept spotlessly clean. I have had acrylic nails, powder nails, gel m as manicures, and pedicures done at Lonnies, and have always been pleased with the results.

Don’t come here unless you have an appointment with Lonnie. My nails DO NOT look good and she drew blood from two of my separate fingers, then proceeded to say “you have thin skin”. No, she was being rough.

Best salon I have found on this sidf of the river. Lived in Alton area and nails done in area for decades and I have tried them all at least once There used to be more small nail salons that were nice. This is the cleanest, most professional, gentlest and nicest I quit wasting my time trying other salons even though they were conveniently located Its worth the extra drive time

The first time I went here, it was great. I thought I had found my new nail salon. The second time I went, my hands got cut up a lot when I got my acrylic nails filled. I liked it so much the first time, I decided to give it another try. 3rd time, I left with my hand bleeding and the nail tech tried telling me I washed my hands too hard. It took a full 3 weeks for them to heal enough to get my nails done again. It was the same nail tech both times. Unfortunate because I really wanted to like this place.

Went there maybe 2 months ago for the first time, when she was done 3 of my nails were completely crooked. as soon as the finally started coming off one of my nails tore completely off, and the others are just breaking off as they grow. if i had the option i wouldn’t even give a star DO NOT GO HERE!

This salon was recommended to me by a local. In my opinion, it was just OK. I asked if they did the powder dip nails and they said they did. I’ve been getting this service done for over a year, and this was the sloppiest one I’ve ever gotten. The guy who did my nails did not do anything to my cuticles, and the powder was somewhat uneven around the edges near the cuticle. I pointed out one place, and he did fix it. Overall, I would not recommend this establishment for powder dip nails. I will be getting my nails redone when I return home, much too sloppy for me.

For starters the price changed every time I went there even though I requested the same service and polish! I only went because I was in desperate need of a fill in and my normal place was booked up. I left Lonnie’s and my nails looked to thin. My nails felt extremely weird a few days later so I called my normal nail lady and she fit me in right away! Long story short Lonnie’s gave me a nail fungus that turned 4 of my nails green! This has never happened in all of my years of having acrylics! Plus the top of the acrylics and gel polish was peeling off after only 3 days! GO TO US NAILS THEY ARE SO MUCH BETTER AND CHEAPER! THEY ARE LOCATED BEHIND SHOGUNS IN ALTON!!!!

My favorite salon in Alton - they do a great job for nails & pedicures. Clean, cute & comfortable. They also offer foot reflexology! (massage)

They do a good job at a fair price. The only reason this isnt a 5-star review is because there are times that it seems like they forget how long someone has been waiting with their feet soaking.

I LOVE This place. Personable and Friendly

My pedicure was SO rushed. Spent less than 10 seconds soaking my feet and there was no lotion or massage on my legs like other places. The gel manicure I received looks unprofessional. There are visible bubbles on 5 of my nails. Very disappointed. I came here to relax and instead I left frustrated.

This salon is terrible. I gave $33.00 for a manicure and pedicure plus added a $7.00 tip. Within three days, the polish peeled off my fingernails and chipped off my toenails. I will never go back.
