Ray is an incredible repair man. He is quick, thorough and affordable. His response time is excellent. He fixed my hot water tank, and when the pilot light went out again some time later, he came back and there was no charge. Highly recommend.
If i could give 0 stars I would. ABD was assigned as part of Lowes extended warranty. After taking a day off in order to meet him at the scheduled time he almost no-showed me, then showed up for about a 5 minute visit at the very end of his day, saying he would order the parts. I followed up with him multiple times on the status, with him answering one time and saying he would call me right back when stopped. He then stopped responding to calls and texts. It has been over a month, we still have no washer. Will never use him again. Very unprofessional, disorganized and rude.
I have a Bosch dishwasher that was in need of repair under the manufacturers warranty. After contacting Bosch customer service, I was referred to two factory-authorized repair companies in Albuquerque. I called Ray Duran dba ABD Appliance shortly after Christmas day 2019 and Mr. Duran showed up on the 31st (as agreed) to check out my appliance. Mr. Duran spent about an hour troubleshooting the dishwasher, putting a leveling on it, adjusting the door, checking the voltages, etc. managing to get it running. When he left, he told me to call him if there were any further problems. There were. After running for a few days, the dishwasher stopped working; I called and spoke to Mr. Duran on 01/07/2020 shortly after 8:00am and reported my issue. He told me he would order a new part right away and would call me later that day and let me know the status of the part and when he could return. I never again heard from him; I placed follow-up calls on 01/13, 14, 15/2020 leaving voicemail messages each time, but Mr. Duran never responded. I eventually got my dishwasher repaired using the only other Bosch factory-authorized repair firm available in Albuquerque (as of January 2020).
Our LG fridge/freezer died. We had another appliance repair guy come out and he said not worth repairing a LG or Samsung, recommended we get a new one. Found out compressor (the problem) was under 10 year warranty; unit is only 3 and1/2 years old. LG hooked us up w/ Ray at ABD. He and my husband volleyed phone calls for 10 days (Ray is CLEARLY overbooked) and on 12th day Ray called my husband, all parts were in. Ray arrived exactly when he said he would. Was professional and worked diligently at repair and replacement of compressor, gave us tips on keeping it running and updated the software on...whatever. Was here about 1.5 hrs. So far all works well! THANK YOU, Ray! Will never buy another LG or Samsung fridge/freezer but we are thankful to Ray for finally getting this one back in service. A CHALLENGE living w/o fridge/freezer x 12 days; LG could do better!

Asked for a quote and was told there was a service charge of $80. After a 15 minute repair, they charged an additional $50 labor which was not quoted or mentioned. Prompt service, but misleading and will not use again.
