I’d give this place and their warranty system 0 stars. BeFirst you pay for the first service and they offer you a credit. I have yet to see that credit. I paid to have have my dryer repaired because a light that shouldn’t come on, came on. It was the light to say the vent system was plugged up. We had another professional company come out and clean the entire vent system they even put a camera and allowed us to view the vent system to make sure that there were no clogs or dead rodents or anything of the sort in the vent system-twice, just to make sure we weren’t missing anything. So it meant a possible sensor in the dryer, right?We called for service from Sears, they sent out A & E to come and look and Ralph, (the first technician) said it was a sensor but since our warranty that I had paid for hadn’t technically started until the beginning of the following month, that we just needed to pay for his service (that meant I paid the $50 for the warranty and whatever additional for his time to come out) for that day because the sensor was going to cost about $300 (he even looked up the part and price) and that was for the part only not including the additional service fee. He advised us to wait until we were fully in our warranty to call back and make a new call and closed the ticket as repaired. This was after he told me, a woman, that we were using the wrong setting on the dryer. That we only needed to use timed dry and not the other options that were on the dryer. He also changed his tune after he spoke with my father, he was more willing to work with him than with me.Time passes the dryer was still doing the same thing AND had started to stop spinning. My dryer is a newer model and in the 5 years that I’ve gambas it I’ve NEVER had to manually turn the drum to get it going. To most technicians this would mean that the motor is seizing up, but the next technician that came out, Henry, turned the drum manually and said it was fine and the light, he ran the dryer not connected to the vent system and also said it was fine. He even called Ralph to inquire about the sensor that he had told us to order and Ralph denied the conversation. Not to mention, Henry also told me that I only needed to run the dryer in timed dry only mode and not use the other setting because it gets too hot. Well dang, I like dry clothes not mildly dry clothes. Both technicians were rude and very condescending, I may look young but I am quite experienced with doing my laundry and did not appreciate being told that I didn’t know how to dry my clothes nor how the dryer worked.When I called to speak to their manager I got a run around from the customer service department with a ticket to have their manager call me back in 24-48 hrs. Twice. I’m not holding my breath waiting for them to call back. It’s been a couple of weeks and still no calls.

Truly awful. They continue to not show up to their appointments and rescheduled appointments. I have been here all day waiting and not so much as a car has been on my street. Avoid at all costs. They will say you were not home, unless you call them during the appointment window.

Charged twice for diagnostic fee- per tech because he had to return when parts came in- asked about known missing head gasket issues and engine sounds like it’s missing- tech said sounds normal to him- guess what- missing center head bolts damaged head gasket- EXACTLY what I asked him about when he was here- a known issue that he ignored! now tractor damaged and they have no techs to send out- anyone know of a reputable, honest small engine repair service in NM? To all other posters commenting on the bait and switch billing- spot on guys- they pulled the same with me- when I did reach out to let them know- they implied I was lying about it!

Do not use this company! Called to make an appt.& was given an estimate. Technician arrived on time but quoted a much higher price to do a very simple job. If we refused the higher price and did nothing, we would have had to pay a service fee of over $100. Felt like bait and switch and highway robbery!! Called 800# while technician was on site to get answers but person on phone put us on hold and then disconnected. With service to customers like this, we can understand why Sears is struggling. We will not use this company again nor buy from Sears.

They never showed up, they never called to reschedule or let us know they would not make it. We rescheduled! They never showed up, they never called to reschedule and they never called to let us know they would not make it due to the weather. It was 65 degrees no wind, sunny and beautiful. Hopefully they show up this time that we rescheduled again since there the only ones around to work on the fridge.

We had a great experience with this service. Hugo arrived promptly, was efficient and offered high quality service in getting our refrigerator working again. He explained what the problem was. I do believe we will request him by name should we need appliance repair in the future.

I called to get a price for a repair. It was extremely difficult understanding the person that answered the call. They obviously outsource instead of hiring locals to take calls. I decided not to give this woman all the personal information she kept asking for and look elsewhere.

I went online to schedule an appointment to fix a water line for the refrigerator. We made a couple attempts to fix it ourselves but must not have had the correct part. The line was already split and ready to be fixed, we just need the part and since it was a rental we wanted it done promptly.Well I was happy to get a next day appointment between 1-5 and also knowing it would cost minimum $100 to “diagnose” the problem. I didn’t mind this since they said it would be applied towards the final repair. In addition they would call when they were on our way to our home.The next day comes and I am working with my children, at home at 11 am on schoolwork, and I get a call or text saying he’s in front of my house. Mind this is a rental and I’m not there so I leave my children with my husband working to be accommodating. Again, I was waiting for someone to tell me they were on their way between 1-5 not call and text at 11 saying they were already at my house.He said it was going to be $320!!!! At that point I was thinking the $100 will go towards that and fine $220 for convenience. He also said he wasn’t charging me for the part. Well he was there twenty minutes and most of it was small talk. It took two minutes to fix the fridge line. One to go walk to his van and one to walk in and put it on. After when I said that is a lot of money for $320 he basically said it was a by job deal and that the $100 is already applied. At that point it was so frustrating hat I just paid it.This is predatory and not fair! How does any business charge $320 for twenty minutes and a small plastic part, even with computer scheduling. When I tried to call sears I get answering machine for a person that is clearly no there but pretending to be.When I tried to leave a review on the website, which I was very diligent about to submit, it never posted. I Facebook messaged them and never got a reply.I have bought two sets of expensive appliances from sears and have used their repair work before. I went with sears because some companies won’t work with kenmore. I was happy to go with them for this simple fix, but this is predatory and unfair. I will not be continuing my business with sears, I will be closing my credit account, and stop wondering but understand why sears is going under.

I have had nothing but issues from this company over several attempts to have appliances repaired under their plans. In an eight week period, we had 4 cancellations, five different repairmen, and finally after paying twice, get told there is nothing they can do to fix it, its too old, etc. ( The appliance was only two years old at this time). This company is not worth the time or effort.

The repair to my dryer was completed successfully; however, the service man didnt leave a receipt and promised that one would be sent to my email. It has been over a month and several requests; but, still no receipt. I rent my home and the landlord wants to see the receipt to justify the reduction in rent for my paying for the repair. What must a person do to get results from this place? The off-shore call center is a joke and when you do speak with a local person, their response isnt any better!

Horrible service as they refused to take my call as they were experiencing system issues. The lady who answered completely ignored me and sounded like a robot reading off a script. I only had a general question to ask about a local store and she continued to read her script and end the call with me! I would have put 0 stars however google requires at least 1 in order to allow you to post.

Horrible experience, do not hire! I hired them to fix a hookup for my dryer hose and to fix a leak in my washer hose. They arrived 3 hours late, and I had to take off work for the whole time. When they did arrive, they were incompetent and were not able to fix the dryer hose, when they said they could when I scheduled the appointment. They also said they fixed the washing machine, but didn’t test it, and when I went to use it after I found my garage flooded with water. This visit cost me over $200 and they were only here for about 20 minutes and they didn’t even fix the problem. Now I have to call to get a refund because I need a plumber to come. Awful!

Called to get a quote for a repair on my washing machine. I told them the exact part that needed replacement. Transferred to five different people, just to be told all they could offer was a $99 service call to evaluate my machine and see what needed repair. Then they had the nerve to try and sell me a service plan for my appliances. Idiots.

Called for appliance in home repair. the guy spoke hard to understand english.sounded like a middle eastern accent I was asking for a price for repair he seemed more interested in my name and other info before he would give me an estimate for a service call .so he said he new my name based on me phone number. So i asked him why he needed my name and area code if he already knew it. I told him i just need a price for in home service he then put me on hold.. i could here him breathing and i said are u there he finally responded... it was hard getting the price of 99.00 for the call .poor service..

They came “fixed the problem” not! Made the temperature of my refrigerator and freezer spike even higher. Called the same day the repair was done telling them that the problem was not fixed and I feel like it’s getting worse. Now have to wait a week for anyone to come back and look at the refrigerator. Mind you we have 4 small kids and can’t keep any milk, medication, or food cool. So yes we had to throw and clean out everything. So to add an other week to have them come look again is ridiculous. All you get from the call center is “I understand you’re frustrated I’m sorry”. I have asked if they have a cancellation list to be put on and was told to mange my appointment via text. Ok well the text they send is just one to confirm or cancel. Not see if they have canceled appointments or a list. Please do not make the same mistake we did and think by buying the plan is a good idea. Unfortunately we are in a huge dilemma and I do not want anyone with or without kids to have to deal with this. I can understand if this was going to be the first time they came to fix the refrigerator but as they already came out and the problem was not fixed I feel ( and this could just be me) that they should be back sooner to see what is going on. Also all the transfers oh you need to talk to this person that person. A freaken phone headache. Please learn from our mistake and use someone locally not worth the headache to try and talk to someone not even in the same state. Now we will be buying a different little refrigerator so we can keep our sons medication cool as he has an immune deficiency and has to have his medication cool in the refrigerator. More headaches! Let’s see how fast this week will go.

Horrible. My front loading Kenmore HE 3 went down and Sears made an appointment for that afternoon. The repairman was prompt and friendly. It cost $396 for a new drain pump. When the machine went down again with the same error code a day later they wouldn’t schedule a recal appointment until 6 days later. Ridiculous. So do the math, they get paid for the first appointment and are there the same day. When their own repair doesn’t work and the have to return at no charge for a recal it takes them a week. Completely; utterly unacceptable.

Never use Sears, never buy from Sears, something breaks and they just tell you everything is not covered. The fridge is 7 months old and already 3 service calls and the door still doesnt close correctly.
