I remember decades ago, Mr. Dalton told me that it was easy to find someone who could fix appliances, but hard to find someone you would welcome in your home. Over the years I have used them, I have always found that to be true. Today, I received extraordinary service from Sheila and feel compelled to write a review. I had a problem that needed immediate attention and a family member in the hospital (I know when it rains, it pours). Anyway, she offered to follow-up with the service representative and get back to me in a specific timeframe with a recommendation. On a day when time was at a premium, I so appreciated her willingness to go the extra mile, communicate my issue, and get a response to me in a timely manner. She is a great ambassador for Daltons. This company took a great deal of money from us, the part did not work and now the owner will not return our calls! a big bunch of crooks!
Shane and Nick both worked on getting our subzero fixed. for some reason the thermostats they installed did not work. They stuck with it and after several visits and 3 thermostats, they got the problem solved. I am very pleased with the personal service and very professional way these guys (and women at the front desk) do their job. Would be hard pressed to find a better mix when looking for the technical aspects of fixing these very expensive appliances.

I am extremely happy I found Dalton Service Center through KitchenAid customer service. It was an ease to make an appointment. Our technician, Zack, was extremely knowledgeable and was very careful when removing our oven. He took no time to fix our wall oven. The price was very reasonable as well. I can not recommend this place enough and will continue to use them in the future. Thank you!!
It was so refreshing to have a technician come out, listen to the symptoms, and effect the repair. With other service calls (not necessarily this company), the tech often has a know-it-all attitude, does not listen to the homeowners observations, and blindly tries to repair the appliance. Sometime they are correct, other times not. I liken this to the doctor who does not listen to the patients complaint.Doctor Jay was very professional, and took the time to make sure my oven was operating properly this time. I was comfortable having him in my home, as he also maintained proper COVID protocols.
Waited 2 weeks for a service call, then they show up with one man when it was clearly a 2 man call,They are useless.
An unexpected flooding from my recently-repaired washer at about 4 pm overwhelmed me... I called for help and Jay who was in the area came quickly to the senior apt. I live in. He sprang into action, moving out both washer and dryer, wringing out towels and sopping up water, drying the whole area and getting everything back into place before the restoration man appeared. He also checked to make sure the drain wasn’t plugged and securely cable-tied the drain hose into position to prevent further flooding.During the mop up he discovered that black widow spiders had taken up residence in a warm spot behind the dryer! He capably dispatched them and made sure the entire area was clear! If that’s not going above and beyond I don’t know what is!Best of all, his positive, encouraging manner emanated calm and I went from frazzled to functional in the face of an extremely challenging situation!I cannot recommend Dalton highly enough. In a day of often slipshod, lackadaisical customer service, they were there quickly and efficiently to handle the situation. From Lisa to Isabel who took my calls and worked till after 5 pm to get everything arranged, to Jay who braved black widows to put my laundry in order, I received the highest quality customer service imaginable!May the Lord bless each one of you for the time and attention you provided in an hour of extreme need.Sincerely, Gayle
Weve been home owners for 38 years, so weve had to call for appliance repairs many, many times. Weve never had a horrible experience, but some have provided lackluster service. Weve been using Dalton Service for a couple of years now and could not be more impressed. They come when they say theyll come (which shouldnt even be something you should have to say, but has been a problem with several in town), they do a quick, efficient, and thorough job. They also do it cleanly. Its nice to have finally found a company we will call anytime we need a repair!
Thanks for quick service. Your tech was great. He went the extra mile to get a part for my refrigerator, picked it up and returned to my place to put into service. Your pricing was below what I might have expected. As always Dalton does the job with terrific staff. Always good to use local companys to fill the bill. Anyone reading this better use Dalton for your needs in appliance work. Five stars for sure!

Our washing machine needed repair after just a few weeks of owning it, and Maytag sent out a tech from Dalton. He was extremely knowledgeable, considerate, and helpful and gave me tips on how to prevent the problem in the future. He even noticed our lines were mixed up and re-connected them, cleared them out, and labeled them for us. I didnt choose our servicer, but Id definitely choose them in the future.
After recently buying a house in New Mexico we needed various appliance repairs and EACH and EVERY time Dalton has come through with flying colors. Theyre communicative, flexible w/scheduling, very good about follow up, repair techs were all conscientious, and fairly priced. My one word summary = EXCEPTIONAL!
We have received excellent service for our Bosch dishwasher, which is almost 10 years old. They have come out 3 times over the years for different oroblems and always solved them. Recommended
Amazing service, amazing customer service.Our two year-old refrigerator began making a rattling noise. I called KitchenAide and they referred me right to Dalton. The woman who answered the phone was exceptional in setting up the service call and apprising me of the likely cause and cost.Fernando arrived early and very quickly diagnosed the issue. He had to replace the evaporator- no small task. I was very impressed at his technical knowledge and skill, especially his soldering ability. He was quick, clean, efficient and friendly.Sometimes these seemingly troubled times can actually turn out great, mine did. The work was covered by warranty. The only thing it cost us was a signature and a thank you.Thank you Fernando, thank you Dalton.

I shipped a new microwave to a friend in Los Alamos however it had a problem when it arrived. I had to find my friend a service company for the brand we sent. I was so pleased to find that Daltons was an authorized service company. Having met the Dalton gang professionally I knew of their great reputation with the manufactures. I called and took the information and scheduled the call. The people in NM have a great service company in their midst.
Absolutely terrible customer service. My brand new whirlpool refrigerator went out. I contacted whirlpool and they sent a request to Dalton Services. We received a phone call from Lisa on the day agreed upon and was informed they were 30 minutes out from our home. When we informed Lisa that would not work, we were informed that they would not be able to assist us and that this was the agreed upon time. We NEVER agreed upon the time. OBVIOUSLY we were not able to accommodate the BUISNESSES demand on when they would be there. A secondary phone call was placed and we spoke with Christine. Christine refused to resolve the issue and stated her boss Mr. Dalton would call when it was convenient for him. Both agents created an argument rather than resolve the issue. I have NEVER experienced such terrible customer service and would NEVER recommend a business that demands you (as the customer) work around their schedule. In addition, Christine informed us that we should find another service business.Clearly the individuals running the office require remedial training on basic customer services skills, proper documentation on conversations. I will never do business with this company again and I believe others should be aware of the terrible operations of this company.
I moved to Santa Fe a year ago and did not know who to call. I had to fire A&E Appliance Repair twice and each time found Dalton. Dalton is the very best in the area, hands down. Completely professional and utterly competent and a pleasure to deal with.Dont even consider another company!
What a nice bunch of guys, had a fridge get sick with one week left on the warranty. Very nice even when I was a big grouch. Did a great job and I will use them again when needed
When we woke up this morning the food in the lower section of the freezer was not frozen and the food in the refrigerator section was not as cool as we normally like it. We couldnt adjust the temp controls up or down. Also, for a few months now, the dishwasher door has been coming open during cycles. Both appliances are about 10 years old so we thought they would need replacing. We called KitchenAid to get a recommendation and they gave us the names of two certified repair services.We called Dalton and a tech came out this afternoon. When he arrived, the refrigerator and freezer were working, but we still couldnt adjust the controls. Within a short time, both the refrigerator and dishwasher were working. The repair tech was polite, professional, and very thorough. Well definitely use Dalton again if we have any problems with appliances in the future. It was a wonderful experience!
This company has been nothing short of a nightmare to work with. I have been dealing with them for months now and cant get my refrigerator fixed. The only reason I continued working with Dalton is because they promised to make it right after sending out numerous inexperienced techs to take a guess when I specifically asked for someone with experience and was promised I would get a senior tech. I had invested my time (coming home from work to meet them) and money on parts that werent needed. I really hoped Mike the owner would make this right. Run dont walk away from this company. There are so many choices out there. I will Never use Dalton again.
We have used Daltons for years. They have always been great to work with the guys whom have come to the house. The guys have always been very professional. Our appt times have also always been very reasonable. Not never waiting more than 2 business days from our initial call.
Excellent, professional service. Arrived with all the parts needed to repair my ice maker already in the truck, and billed Whirlpool for the warranty repair with no work for me. Plus, they were the only Whirlpool-authorized repair company in the area who actually answered the phone. Scheduling them to come all the way to Los Alamos wasnt quick for a non-emergency, but they did get me on their next far-north service trip, showed up within their 4 hour window, and called 30 minutes ahead as well. Definitely recommended.
Had to come 3 times to repair dishwasher under warranty. Damaged my countertop in the process. Has never followed up to repair it after many attempts.
It took Dalton Services just under 2.5 MONTHS to repair my refrigerator. They came out a total of 6 times before it was fixed. The first through 3rd time they came they told me that the fridge was in working order. We put new food in and it ended up going bad, after we were given the all clear from the technician. My husband and I had to rent a fridge totaling almost $200 and if I knew it would take 2.5 months we would have bought a used one to use temporarily. We were originally quoted 2 weeks for repairs from Dalton Services. I had to call each week for an update because they would never reach out to me on the status. I believe they are not competent in what their doing as the technician after the final part was replaced said, this was the problem the whole time. Really?!? I contacted the owner, Mike about some sort of compensation to cover the refrigerator rental as 2.5 MONTHS to repair a fridge is not a reasonable amount of time. He has never called me back and I left 3 messages. NEVER Trust these people. They were paid over $1000 for repair bills and they treat their paying customers horribly not to mention the gross incompetence. DO NOT USE!!!
Our dryer seemed like a very easy fix and the repair tech who came was professional, helpful, and forthcoming. It turned out there was a fairly major complication and while it was clear he didnt enjoy this added bit of work, he was still professional, got the job done perfectly, and was very fair. We spent more than wed planned, but our dryer works better than it has in years.--------Since writing that, our dryer has repeated the same behavior. Theyre coming back on Friday at no additional charge, so Im withholding my final opinion until after that call.--------Patrick called before coming on Friday and was able to diagnose the continued problem over the phone. With the exception of a rather-longer-than-hoped-for time frame and one unpleasant phone conversation between my wife and one person in the office, we had a great experience overall.
Paid $350 to fix washer and dryer. Found out neither were fixed after they left. Then they ordered a part for the dryer a week ago. Still waiting on it. Left message for service dept to call me back and let me know when to expect the part...never returned my call. Now on the 4th week without washer or dryer and I dont think they give a crap.

They wont return calls (left 4 voice mails) and refuse to do the warranty work on my Whirlpool Dishwasher even though they are contracted to do it.
