My washer went out in my apartment, I put a work order in and no time was Tony who came out to repair it. He was so nice and professional, it turned out to be a problem with the breakers. He worked on my breakers and replaced the board on my washer. It still wasn’t working, he told me he would have my washer up the next day. He tirelessly worked on this washer and when he felt it was not going to be a easy fix he had victor bring me a new washer! It was after hours and Tony told me I would have a washer and they did that! Such amazing customer service from Tony and Victor they also repaired my door while they were here. They level of commitment and care they have is amazing! 10 out of 10, thank you guys!
Update: The response below to my initial comment once again shows the unprofessional and fraudulent attitude of this apartment complex. I attached the part of contract addressing the parking. But they don’t follow their own contract and just keep saying that they gave a prior notice. Nowhere in the contract it says that they can tow my car due to maintenance issues by giving a prior notice. I hope this review is a good lesson for people who want to rent here.Earlier comment:Avoid this apartment complex at any cost. Not worth the money.1) They have towed my car at my own expense from authorized/legal parking while I was out of town since they were making some repairs in the parking area. Though they did give a prior notice via email, I have no obligation to change my business travel plans to repark my car. Attached is the part of lease agreement related to parking information and nowhere it is stated that they can tow legally parked car due to maintenance issues and specifically at the cost of the tenant.2) They closed all amenities for much longer period than required by the state regulations. They reopened gym 2 months after the state announced reopening. Given that this apartment complex is much more expensive than other complexes in the town, this is unacceptable.
These are the most money hungry people I have come across .Those who stay with them never come back again. They put false charges on your account once you leave. They have this whole process going on and they are well aware of what they are doing. Avoid this place at any cost. Not worth the stress
Biggest bunch of Scammers. this place is designed to scam you with additional hidden charges. We had the misfortune of staying here for a year. After months of moving out, we are still seeing ridiculous charges for small tings such as key returns etc. On top of that, there are DUPLICATE charges. I gave them the benefit of doubt and asked them to remove these, but the Lady in the front office clearly knew about this. This is just their way of squeezing out one last time from unwary renters who made a terrible choice of staying here.
Had an issue upon move in with the floor plan differing in layout from the one I signed a lease on (needed that one specifically for furniture). Narda was extremely gracious, immediately admitted to the mistake (which was a computer glitch and no one’s fault), and went to great lengths to find a solution for me (including offering a full refund of all deposits paid and penalty-free breaking of lease - very unusual for an apartment to offer). The property manager offered discounted rent and free transfer to the correct unit when available if I chose to stay. Mistakes happen, but it’s how people handle them that matters, and I’m extremely impressed with how this situation was handled. I decided to stay and I’m happy I did. Any minor issue or question I’ve emailed about since move in has been handled same day, with fast and gracious email responses. The staff is always super friendly when I stop by to pick up my mail, and they frequently have little socials and giveaways on holidays like donut day etc. Very pleasant place - I’m happy here and planning to stay. Special thanks to Narda for going above and beyond to resolve issues for me, and her genuine caring/empathy
We where in the area and walked in to tour, the young lady nadia had no problem taking us on a tour with no appointment. The apartment model she showed us was beautiful. she was very excited about showing us around even with the cold weather. The apartments are a bit out of our price range but she made our tour very welcoming!
I have lived here at Olympus Encantada for the last 8 months and I have nothing but good things to say about this complex. This staff is very attentive and genuine--Ive worked with Brenda and Aleesia (or Alicia...not sure how to spell her name) in the front office and they have been nothing but kind, helpful, and very transparent. The amenities are very nice (if something isnt working, the maintenance staff is quick to respond and fix the issue) and the neighborhood is quiet for the most part. I definitely feel safe living here at Olympus Encantada and recommend it to anyone who is looking for affordable luxury apartments in ABQ!
If youre considering living at Olympus Encantada I highly advise you reconsider. Take it from a former resident. The office staff is incredibly rude not to mention the rent is drastically over priced. My leasing agent had no idea what was going on and refused to let me speak to the manager about ANY issues. They went into my unit multiple times without my consent or ANY work order being placed. The amenities are never open and the walls are so thin I swear I could hear my upstairs neighbors every conversation. They do not stop there. YOU WILL GET CHARGED FOR EVERYTHING. and I do mean everything. normal apartments arent money hungry but they are here. they only care about money and not about residents. worst rental experience Ive ever had. valet trash doesnt work, they charge you for pest control but they never come, not to mention the lack of parking. in one year i spent $20,000 here for a small one bedroom. worst experience. HAPPY to finally be out of my lease.
This apartment complex has been the best I have ever leased from. The team really goes above and beyond my expectations for any issue I may come across. Nina, was absolutely the best in answering all my questions and concerns with the leasing process. I highly recommend this place especially if coming from out of state. I truly feel at home here!
Brenda did an amazing job of facilitating an out of state move to Olympus Encantada. Since moving in, I needed some shelving mounted and minor appliance repairs. Victor responded to the service requests and completed the work quickly. This is a great place to live.
So far we have not had any problems at all
I lived at Olympus Encantada for 3 years and had a wonderful experience, mainly thanks to Nina Garcia. Nina is so warm and friendly. She found me the perfect apartment that checked all my boxes. She knew me by name immediately and always greeted me when I walked in the office. She ALWAYS went above and beyond for me, especially when things got tricky with my lease at the end. I cant thank her enough for being a kind and compassionate friend at my home away from home. The other ladies in the leasing office were terrific as well - always extremely nice, cordial, and professional, even with some residents who could be challenging. I witnessed firsthand their stellar composure and customer service with people who made me want to run for the hills. Maintenance really shines here, as every issue I had was fixed immediately. Ive lived in many different apartments and this was the best due to the people that work here. Thank you so much to the stellar staff at Olympus Encantada for a great living experience while I was in Albuquerque!
I am currently on my second year of living at Olympus Encantada and I have been beyond happy with everything. The apartments are so nice, the grounds are kept clean, and I feel safe living here. The service staff is also amazing!
The community is nice. The ladies I met in the office were nice but I only went in there 3 or 4 times. Unless you live on the 3rd floor or a townhome you’re experience is going to be terrible. For luxury apartments they really cut the corner on the ceilings. You can hear everything your upstairs neighbor is doing. Every step they took, cats running around all hours of the night, even cell phone alarms. With my schedule relaxing or napping before work was virtually impossible if my upstairs neighbor was home. But hey you gotta find out on your own right. Good luck!
We have been living here for 2 years now and we love it here. The place is calm, peaceful and clean. The staff in the leasing office are accommodating and nice. The apartment maintenance staff always responds to our service request as fast as they can. Grounds are well maintained, it has a park setting with grass and trees my son loves it so much. The lease is a bit pricey but the amenities are excellent.Pools and gym are well maintained. We celebrated birthdays and lots of get together in their elegant social room. Overall the experience is great and I highly recommend this place.
Olympus Encantada was my first place to call home when I had no where to go. moved out of state. It is a very safe and pleasant place to live. The office staff is wonderful and genuinely cares about their residents, so much to the extent that there are monthly events to show resident appreciation! I am EXTREMELY HAPPY to have moved here on from this beautiful community and I love the views I get from my place. The staff is ridiculously friendly. From the amenities, to the customer service this is a great place to call home!!!!!!!!
Nina and everyone in the leasing office is absolutely amazing. Very warm and welcoming every time I go into the office. Olympus has unbelievably well kept grounds, from the gym to the pool/hot tub, and the apartment. My limited experience with maintenance so far has been extremely fast as well. I really enjoy living at Olympus because I feel comfortable in my apartment, in the leasing office, and all around the complex. They really make it feel like home.
Excellent customer service!!! ladies in the office are helpful, professional, prompt with responses, and caring! Most of my communication has been with Brandy, and she has been so amazing in assisting with unique circumstances.Thank You for making it feel like home!
I have been a resident here for more than two months and enjoy this style of apartment living! Ive owned my own home and looked at more than 12 complexes before deciding on Olympus. It is generally quiet and offers great amenities. Robert and Erin both have worked hard to insure that any issues Ive had were resolved quickly and to my satisfaction! Maintenance issues are always taken care of promptly. And the amenities here are all top notch. Olympus Encantada is a great place to call home!!
Olympus Encantada was my first place to call home when my parents moved out of state. It is a very safe and pleasant place to live. The office staff is wonderful and genuinely cares about their residents, so much to the extent that there are monthly events to show resident appreciation! I am sad to say I had to move on from this beautiful community and I will miss it dearly. From the amenities, to the customer service this is a great place to call home!
Run away as fast and as far as you could. In all honesty, the place is nice and the community is friendly. THE management is OH MY GOD! especially Jillian, she is rude, unprofessional and has zero respect for others. When Jillian became the manager, most of the nice staff left which proofs the fact that evil and goodness do not mix together except for one nice lady whose name is Nina. Nina if you are this, thank you for being friendly and very professional at the same time!Overall experience is low and very disappointed.I know one of the customer care representative would reply nicely and try to appear as if they are saints! GOD is my witness they are not! the complex destroyed my NEW MEXICO experience.
Such a great place to live, great environment and great people working here, management is great. Always kept clean, highly recommend these apartments!
It’s an alright place to live. Apartments have very high ceilings and great ac. There is not enough parking. During the summer parking is even harder to come by because folks invite guests to the pool. When the pool is open (it’s often closed because of broken glass in the pool) it’s great. Very dog friendly.
This complex is ran so poorly that it is just a matter of time before it becomes Section 8 housing because it is NOT a “Luxury” home community. They price gouge their tenants and make side hustle money by letting predatory towing companies troll their roach infested community!
Great place to live from the administration and management to the apartments and town homes. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful!
Horrible place. Roaches. Huge flooding of bathroom floor when showering due to a missed connection in the wall. Hold your mail for weeks without notifying you, and telling you that you don’t have packages that you know have been delivered. I spent several days at the post office thinking that they lost it, when in fact it was the apartment staff. Demanded payment for carpet cleaning when there was NOTHING in the lease about having to pay this fee, and sent me to collections because I refused to pay it! Management is/was horrible.
Please know that whenever I leave a review it is sincere, and I am motivated to provide the feedback based on the level of service. Your staff are extremely versed in customer service, and they already know my name even if we have only met one time. If that isnt exceptional, then nothing is. Being a hospital administrator, my entire job description and annual evaluation is solely based on the level of service and quality of the patients experience. In turn, I use the same scrutiny in my personal interactions as I do with my own team expecting nothing less than excellence in every interaction. Congratulations on the awesome job you have done building your excellent team.
Dont come here!i had the worst experience in my life!Everything a lot of fees that that dont tell you about before you sign and see it in your first bill.and the worst thing is their service!!!!its all nice and good when you are a new residence but they lose their patience really quick!!!!!worst service i ever got...they need to learn from other places around which are way better than heredont come here!!
0 stars if I could. First off the staff here is a joke and are extremely rude and unqualified. Second, my apartment got broken into I think by the maintenance workers because the door was unlocked with a key or a lock pick. Then they proceeded to tell me that I needed to pay 1200 upfront to terminate my lease after they didn’t do a single thing about my apartment being broken into(they proceeded to make it seem like it was my fault). This place is cheap and not worth the money being spent here doesn’t even have security patrol. Anyone looking for a second opinion on apartments do not choose this place as multiple apartments have been broken into. Go to broadstone.
Very nice apartments with everything you need and more including an awesome pool area. Noise from apartment above (footsteps, etc.) is incredibly loud. Great value when I moved in, but rent has risen over the last two years and it doesnt make sense anymore for me from a cost/value standpoint.
This is a very nice place to live, but you do have to pay for it. They have many extra utility costs that are mandatory even if you don’t want the valet trash service. I am very comfortable in taking out my own trash, then letting it pile up by my front door until they pick it up. The apartment complex loves to offer deals and help you, until you sign. After you’re a tenant, your rent will be raised every year and they won’t cut you any deals. I wish they were willing to work with me during this government shutdown when I went to pay rent a day late, but they were unwilling to waive the $89 fee. It has been nice living here, but I won’t be renewing my lease.
Ive lived at Encantada at Santa Monica since August 2014. Ive really enjoyed my time here. These are high quality apartments, and Ive been very happy with my experience here. Of course, it is an apartment, so you wont find the really high-end appliances that you might get with owning a home. You also might end up with noisy upstairs neighbors. Parking is somewhat limited, but all parking policies are designed to make sure everyone can park. What these apartments do really well is in the design and implementation of the apartment. Theres an open concept floor plan, which is rare and very nice for an apartment. It makes the space seem a lot bigger than it is. It also has limited carpeting, with only the bedrooms being carpeted. This makes taking care of the floor a breeze. Theres a decent amount of storage space in the places you need it, so you should be able to keep your place neat and organized. All in all, these are quite nice.Where these apartments really shine, though, is in the people. The management and maintenance teams are fantastic! Ive never had a reasonable request denied by the management team. In fact, theyve gone well above anything they needed to. I couldnt be happier with them. The management team also goes out of their way to try to get the residents to get together and make a community. With regular events for residents and guests, the management team really tries. The maintenance team are a great bunch of guys. Ive found them all to be very helpful and competent in what they do. Whenever Ive had a maintenance issue, theyve been very responsive and really do a good job of fixing the problem. I think theyre very trustworthy, and Ive had no worries about letting them in my apartment when Im not at home. Theyre truly awesome. In fact, I once went to the office to report a maintenance issue with one of my circuit breakers and chat with the management team a bit to be friendly. I was there for no more than 15 minutes, and then walked back to my apartment. While I was walking back, one of the maintenance guys saw me, recognized me, and told me that he had fixed the issue and that if I continued to have problems with the breaker, they would upgrade my breaker to the next tier for higher power usage. I havent had a problem with it since he fixed it. Thats the kind of service I see here. I wouldnt live in any other apartment complex in Albuquerque.
Because of our leasing agent, Esther, we came into Encantada with really high expectations. To my absolute surprise, our expectations were not only met but exceeded. There were 18 items I wanted tweaked in our gorgeous apartment. Maintenance came in the day after I submitted my critique and fixed all 18. These guys even deliver packages to our door. They are a friendly bunch, and after the second week, everyone knew my name. If you call or visit the women in the office (Shelley, Esther and Tarah), your concern gets immediate attention. It was thanks to Esther and Tarah that I found out the city would redo my bathtub area free of charge. (You know handles, a new European shower, and a shower chair. I love their gym. I go there four times a week. It is immaculately kept and the machines are always in tip-top order. Perhaps safety is not an issue with some folks, but it is with me. A week after I moved here, my insurance rate went down 28 dollars (because I was in a better neighborhood than previously. I am a Scotsman from Vermont, and I tend to tell it like it is. Oh, and they are building us a state of the art dog park. Wow!
READ April Us comment - everything is true!!Do not consider living at Olympus Encantada. What an awful experience this was. I will never recommend this residence to anyone. The management is terrible and will never listen or care about the problems going on with your home.Nothing good to say. Don’t live here. Not safe and not worth the cost!! You will regret it.
I wanted to give this place a bad review because Im a little bitter about getting evicted over some drama with my son, but honestly it broke my heart to leave this place. I loved my neighbors and all the staff. They were like friends and family to me. Moving out of this place felt almost as bad as breaking up with a girlfriend youre in love with. The apartments are beautiful the amenities are amazing I wish they were condos so I could buy one!
Management and staff are a joke. Would not recommend to anyone. No one ever knows anything, they’ve been rude on multiple occasions, you basically pay for the name and a gate. Not worth your time and energy.
Brandy is absolutely wonderful i inquired about the townhouse style apartments but the location wasnt in my sons school district so i became heartbroken because i really love the lay out . shortly after we got off the phone Brandy called us back informing us about the new sister location that happens to be in my sons school district . i just cant say thank you enough brandy really went out of her way to find us what we wanted and in the area we wanted ... she exceeds great customer service in a friendly professional manner
Such a terrible costumer service!!specially Amanda this lady is so rude! she need to take more lessons in costumer service.definitely not worth the luxury apartmentwill not recommend this place
We love living here the administration team is super helpful and nice
Broadstone Santa Monica is a wonderful place to live. The community is well-kept, secure and in a great location. The maintenance crew is the most responsive I have ever experienced in apartment living.
Best place to live in Albuquerque luxury living excellent community staff on site professional no other apartment complex measures up
This is a nice place, very quiet and clean. However, there are many things that are not right for a “luxury apartment”, we move here in March, we received a special, but we need to make our own calculations each month in order to apply it, so is a hazard each single month to add up all the numbers to make sure we get the monthly rent right. I think this should be something automatically calculated by the system. The other thing they take forever to answer the emails and every time you go to the office everybody says something different, they are not on the same page. There are few things that have to be fixed, like one of the gates, a covered parking space, which since I moved it’s broken. Very frustrated experience so far. If you can find something else do it.
Beautiful property, all leasing agents are professional and courteous.
Beautiful apartments, and SOOOO quiet. We have loved living here and highly recommend it. The only downfalls are the scratches on our lament floors and that many of the amenities like the media room close when the office closes.
Staff are great, residence is clean. The drunken wild parties at the pool are out of control(cover your kids eyes). Why the 2 stars then? We had a family emergency and had to leave town. My mom watched the kids and woke up to a BOOT on her jeep w a $75 fine from their Mgt co. She was parked in the guest parking lot. I guess no guests can come over after 10pm expect a boot on your car, not to mention hey are closed so no way of getting a guest pass.
PROS: safe (relatively safe), nice pool/BBQ area, security Cams(not sure how well they worked), very nice looking apartment, new appliances, washer/dryer, maintenance team reliable, assigned parking, covered parking, nice location (restaurant & entertainment), no noise complaints to report from parties or neighbors to speak of for the 2yrs Ive lived there, fitness room(if thats what you want to call it),gated communityCONS: MONTHLY RENT PAYMENTS for a 2bed 2bath. In 2016 my rent was $1000 a month not including gas electric cable/internet which only added about $200 so in total $1200. 2017 MONTHLY RENT PAYMENTS jumped up to $1200 and with the gas/electric cable/internet $200 monthly payments were around $1400. as of 2018 my monthly payment are around $1700 including the $200. This is insane youre better off getting a house. Also in these monthly payments I didnt factor in day to day things groceries, kids, car note(s), insurance, gas, personal entertainment, or whatever other debt you may have. Car break-ins, traffic noise I lived closer to the street, mobile homes across the street always have something going on there cops, fights, drunk people. If you dont have assigned parking good luck finding a decent place to park ( if you get off around 7am parking is very abundant). Security gate dont do anything since people can walk or drive right behind you when you open the gates
Do NOT move here. My entire apartment has flooded 2 times and they refuse to do anything to fix it or to pay for my damaged items. Worst experience I’ve ever had.
We enjoy living here and have had no issues with neighbors or staff. The response to voicemails left for staff could be improved but there havent been any emergencies that needed addressed.
Just please, don’t. Horrible management. Horrible fees, horrible up keep of grounds. Money hungry, do some research.
I thought my experience at Broadstone Santa Monica was wonderful. The kids and I enjoyed our time there from August 2013 until February 2014. We were some of the first tenants. I never had any issues and the property was very nice, in fact I got my entire deposit back. Today in April 2016, I learned they just reported 2 months late rent in 2013? I have never paid my rent late and wonder why more than 2 years after I moved out of the property the company would do this. Im very disappointed in the new ownership and their shoddy business practices. I have of course disputed this and hope they correct this immediately.Additional information: Encantada Santa Monica is evidently no longer owned by Alliance who was responsible for the incorrect reporting of late payments. I have since dealt with Alliance and they have partially corrected their mistake. Encantada Santa Monica who is under a different ownership now has been nothing but responsive and helpful in assisting me with the records I needed to get this resolved. I want to thank the girls there for their professional attitude and demeanor. I give them 5 stars but give the prior owner and management of Alliance 1/2 star.
Didnt enjoy the experience. Hardly any open parking, had to park clear on the otherside of the complex due to the small open parking lot being full all the time. Rude neighbors, not the apartments fault but also unenjoyable. Would often call office and would not get a call back as requested. Got illegally booted at one point before booting signs were posted. Water would often not be hot but maintenance were unable to fix/find a problem. No lights in bedrooms. Mgmt often seemed uneager to listen/help us. Left as soon as lease was up. Would only recommend to an older market. Amenities were nice though. Ultimately, not worth it for the price you pay.
Great Place to live!
Broadstone Santa Monica is one of the newest and most expensive apartment communities in New Mexico. Every resident here could EASILY afford a mortgage, yet for one reason or another, we have all chosen to live in this community. Almost every single resident drives a brand new vehicle, from VW to Mazda to Mercedes Benz. The amenities are very nice, the property is clean and well lit. But the customer service of the office staff is lacking and the residents are snobbish, so dont expect to make any friends with the neighbors.Be aware that although this is a newer property, there are a LOT of bugs, which shocked me. Ants, spiders, roaches (the little clearish ones not the big gross brown ones), and TONS of crickets.Dealing with the manager was a nightmare. Had to call corporate to handle the algae growing in the pool. Also reported property manager Tarah for leaving herself positive reviews, which is unethical and violates google reviews policy.Despite the fact its gated, its entirely surrounded by decrepit trailer park properties and a ghetto 7-11 and dollar store, so the actual area right outside the gates is sketchy. They also nickel and dime you for community expenses and you will receive a monthly bill of $23 for trash pickup, and also $6-$10 for community lighting. I just find that so TACKY that for $1380 in rent a month, theres just no way the community can find a way to provide those things without passing the costs directly to residents. I have never lived in such an expensive community, nor one that hit me up for trash fees. When you move out, YOU also must hire someone to shampoo the carpets or they take an $85 fee out of your deposit. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! This is the ONLY place Ive ever heard of that makes the resident handle the carpets! That is traditionally the land lords responsibility as they own/maintain the property. I was completely disgusted at yet another nickel and dime me to death situation! The women that work in the office are that fake kind of professional where they say all the right words, but their attitude and tone of voice is condescending and subtly aggressive. Completely unhelpful, but apparently very glad to take your check. If you do decide to live here, make sure to check where your assigned parking spot is before you sign the lease (aka once you sign, if your spot is down the block from your front door thats your problem). What a joke. In my opinion, top tier price merits top tier service, but the service is NOT there.Other annoyances: The gorgeous fire place in the model doesnt come in every unit, the floors are paper thin (so live upstairs if at all possible, being a downstairs resident sucks), the bathroom exhaust fans do not have an individual switch and are very loud (so forget taking a quiet relaxing bath because it always sounds like the vaccuum cleaner is on), and there are no light fixtures in the bedrooms or living room area, which means you will spend even more money on lamps, lightbulbs, and electricity. My last condo was same square footage and never paid more that $45 at all time high electricity usage, first month at Broadstone electricity is $90. Its a money hole. Average actual cost for basic living is just above $1500 for the two bedroom (not including internet or tv service) a month. To sum it all up its been 6 months since I moved out and Im STILL angry at the way the staff treated me. When Tarah asked me why we decided to move out when our lease expired, I was trying to be polite, so I told her that I found it a bit expensive. She wrote Reason for move out: MONEY PROBLEMS on my move out paperwork. Talk about adding insult to injury! Im sorry dear, what I meant was I dont like you or your poor service/bugs/pool algae/extra hidden charges/paper thin walls and floors, so since I fail to see that the value for my hard earned income is provided, I shall take my business elsewhere.I moved across town and I am the happiest I have ever been with my current rental property at San Miguel and a manager that gives a hoot, Dottie!
There to expensive there 1500 bucks a month or so plus the other 1 off of Louisiana 2,000 a month a good job & or investment or something to live there
Great location and great community.
Good apartment
Amazing view
Terrible management!
Good evening and tomorrow at 9 p.m.
