Pete & Andy are truly great barbers. Ive been to quite afew places in albany...these guys put alot of them out there to shame...especially Andy he is super talented and his energy is radiating. Love this place. If I could give it more stars I would.

Have gotten haircuts from both Andy and Torah (sorry if I spelt her name wrong!) Great haircuts from both and theyre both very nice people! Never a long wait even as a walk-in. There are a lot of barber shops between where I live and this one, but I keep coming back here.

They did an amazing job. I have been to all the surrounding barber shops and this one is definitely my most preferred. I dont ask for anything fancy but for whatever reason I have a history of receiving very mediocre haircuts. My latest haircut here (in April) greatly exceeded my expectations. For that particular haircut I would give a 6 out of 5 if I could.

Good customer service. Prices on cuts are a bit on the higher aside than usual but overall very good quality hairstyles. Recommend this place to anyone looking for a good hair cut.

Been getting my hair cut here for about 6 months and very pleased. I like to get in and out - Gabe and Joe take care of that with a nice clean cut. Would recommend to others to try them out.

There is plenty of sanitizer available and the chairs are isolated from each other with disposal coverings. The entire staff was practicing good social distancing practices and taking the current situation very seriously.

Took off more than I wanted. Told the guy not to trim the top, but he thought it would look cool. Cheap price. You get what you pay for. I do not recommend this place

Was a little skeptical at first since no one was in here except the 2 barbers and the one that was going to cut my hair asked if he could eat his food first, but it was well worth the wait. Amazing cut, thorough and attentive. Peter is the guy you wanna come see

Peter has been cutting my hair for probably about 15 years now and is phenomenal at what he does, and not to mention how friendly and personable he is as well. I couldn’t be happier he has his own shop now. It’s well deserved and long overdue. I cannot recommend Westmere enough - great spot, great haircuts, great people!

Ive been going to this barber shop for around a year now. I have been pleased with the haircuts I receive every time. The staff here are very personable and are able to hold conversations if desired/leave you alone if youre just there for a quick cut. I typically have seen Peter/Uly, but there is a 3rd gentleman I saw on one occasion who also cut my hair really well. You can tell they take their jobs seriously and put a lot of effort into making sure youre satisfied with the results. Peter even came in on a day off to cut my hair on one occasion. All in all Ive been very happy paying these gentleman for their service and would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Coming from the military I’ve struggled to find a place that does a good job, and doesn’t charge $25 bucks for a basic cut. Great attention to detail coupled with an affordable price. I will be going here from now on.

Pete has been cutting my hair for close to 20 years. Not only does he always do great job, but hes friendly and fun to talk to. As long as you give him a call or text a day or two ahead of time youll get the appointment you want. Try out his new location in Westmere Plaza you wont be disappointed.

First time I had to get my hair cut by someone else for almost two decades and Gabor (one of the barbers) did a great job. All I had for reference on how to cut my hair was a mediocre quality selfie I have on my phone.

Pete has been my barber for nearly a decade now, he is very accommodating and always shows professionalism. I usually call about a day in advance and never have trouble getting the appointment slot that works for me.

We have been going to see Pete for years now at other places. Now that he has his own place we couldnt be happier for him! He is great with my friend KJ who is in a wheelchair.
