I was told these guys are the best in town, so I called them Friday morning wanting to get an appointment to have my catalytic converter replaced. I was told to call back at the beginning of the week… didn’t think anything of it. I called this morning for the same thing and I was transferred 3x before I had one guy just tell me to head over. I told the guy I would stop by later today and he was like, “ok”. I head there on my lunch hour and when I get there I couldnt find someone to help me out. When I finally get help… Im told they cant even help me today. I explained how I just spoke to someone over the phone and he told me to head over… also letting him know, I drove 30 min to get to their shop. No effort was made to help me out and the guy speaking to me was extremely rude. I ended up leaving and I honestly don’t think they cared.

Just left again for a small muffler job and got the same quality service and honest price I’ve been getting for ten years.

Their staff are pretty nice. Also, they will order a certain tire or tires if they do not have a certain size in stock! But, when you go in there, they are very noisy inside, because of all the machinery!

Had loud exhaust. Took it to Rods. Leaking flange. $30 fix. In and out in less than 20 minutes = $10 tip. Fast and friendly as always. Highly recommend these guys for any exhaust repairs.

Edit/update it appears both my exhuast leaks are from where I originally went in to get my exhuast fixed at.The spots where they welded have gaps as if they we missed by the person welding it. Im going to try to stop in soon to see what they say an honor there work.

Call Rod’s first!I was in a panic, having already called 6 other places in the area for a new tire. I’ve got to drive back to Dayton today and be on time to work, around 2 pm. I wasn’t expecting much when I called Rod’s, but they certainly delivered. They didn’t have a new tire in my size, but set me up with a lightly-used one to get me back home. It was finished in under a half hour and cost only 26$. And their customer service is superb. I had a buddy tell me about this place about 2 years ago. Great place. Rod is super nice, and his staff knows their business. I bought a set of tires last year, and within a month, my wife ran something over and rode on the flat for a long time. Rods policy is if you get a flat with their tires, theyll fix it for free. So I took it in, and they saw that inside the tire is was shot because she rode on the flat for about 2 miles (lol). Normally, they dont cover that, but Rod went ahead and replaced the tire for free. If that aint awesome, I dont know what is. Also, they do exhast work. Our suaru with 230k miles was loud, the exhast pipe had seperated. I went there to have them look at it. They jacked it up, cut the pipe, welded a new peice in, and charged me 30 bucks. I was literally only there for 15 minutes total. They are my goto place for anything I need that they can do!

Rude rude workers. I called and a guy told me to bring it in the next day and they would take a look at my muffler. So I drove over 20 minutes (got a sitter for the kids) and I get there and had a horrible experience. Had to go into the garage to find someone to talk to. Finally talked to two different guys who basically told me they couldn’t help me and I needed to come back in a couple days. Extremely rude and they will never get my service or anyone that ask me about them.
