Everyone here is so nice, I had the privilege to get Rachel for my 6 year Olds hair. He is on the spectrum so usually its a nightmare at a salon but we decided to give it a try after years of me doing it myself (not well). She was so nice and talked to my son the whole time and gained his trust instantly! This is the best haircut my son has had in 6 years! We found our new go to spot and person for sure!

I took my son and daughter there for a last-minute haircut before school. My son was a complete nightmare but Lisa was so patient with him and she really paid attention to the quality of work she was doing even though he refused to sit still. Would definitely recommend. I didn’t catch the ladies name to do my daughters hair but she did a fantastic job as well.

Ive been coming here for years and for years it was great. Now it is just a disorganized mess. The online check-in always fails and throws me to the bottom of the waiting list and today it put me back 90 minutes after having been here for 30 minutes already. What a joke. Time for a new place. Fix your crumbling franchise. You lost another customer.

It was an overpriced haircut that ultimately wasnt very clean in terms of the haircut itself. I had to touch up the sides myself when I got home. Based on the experience coupled with the price $28 for a simple cut I wouldnt go back. I guess if youre into the shtick of having ESPN on while you get a haircut it could be worthwhile, but I personally can survive without ESPN for the 20 minute haircut. Ive gotten better haircuts from Great Clips if Im being honest.

Hit or miss. Ive had one of the best haircuts and experiences the last time I was there. The most recent was the worst Ive ever experienced. No blending, no fading. She should stick to sweeping the floors for the professionals.

I have attended this barbershop for years and the best barber (and only one I go to) is Jada. Shes very friendly and always takes her time with servicing her customers.

I didnt get a haircut, I was informed that because of a computer glitch that they could only take cash. After one stylist took a customer back for a haircut two of the stylist stood talking about something while one was on the phone working to get the computer back up, after waiting another twenty minutes I got up and left as it appears that they didnt want my business

Best price for what you get with your haircut. I only choose a couple of the barbers from here though Ive had my haircut from several different barbers from this place. However this is the only place I go to to get my haircut.

Ever since the sports clips on jefferson ave opened up I will only go there for my haircuts. The staff is friendly and the type of haircut service they provide is worth the price.

Everytime I walk in here the stylists are kind, sweet, and know how to hold meaningful conversations. There are other places that I have gone and felt like I was unwanted business but at this sports clips they must only hire Angels. Only place in Hampton roads I will go to have my hair cut! I’ve had haircuts here before and when they cut your hair the service is good. The problem is you wait a long time to be seen for no apparent reason. I checked in and the wait time was listed as 27min. Waited my time until I was “on deck,” waited another 15min watching 2-3 hairstylists doing things but not give a reason for why they were not helping the next person in line. Also received a text message that said I would be up in 8-12mi. I walked out and as I did someone came to the door to give me an expression of, “I’m ready for you...where are you going.” In my opinion, if you’re not going to give the customer a courtesy of explaining why things are taking longer than expected, then I’m not obligated to tell you why I’m leaving.

Sports clips is an awesome franchise! Everything a God could ever want in a hair cut. No appointments, and live sports on television. I highly recommend using the online check in, because you wont have to wait very long once you arrive.

Good place to get a haircut but its a disappointment to me that they will not use a razor to clean the neck or to trim sideburns. The VIP Treatment with shampoo and neck and shoulder massage is a nice way to treat yourself. Once I find someone who will cut my hair so it is easy to comb, I use the same stylist each time I go; but you can log in for the first available and save time. There is a fairly high turnover of stylist and I have had to switch a few times over the past few years when one I liked moved on without notice. I stick with Sports Clips because I can get a nice haircut and because I can walk there, getting exercise too.

The young lady that cut my hair was very nice but she missed a couple of spots pretty uncommon here theyre usually pretty good and if you go in and tell them they will trim it again for free

Decided to give Sport Clips a try knowing other guys have had good experiences. I like the computer check-in option, you pay with a computer on the way out. Very streamlined and efficient.Got to work with Allyson at this location. She was great. Explained everything and was very thorough. Hopefully she works often because Ill keep going back to her.

Hair dresser completely ignored my request of a simple fade to my part line. Went way past my part and then she cut my bangs with a buzz cutter. Then practically kept trying to sell me product. All I wanted was a haircut and I made that clear. Absolutely worst experience ever. Won’t be back.

I have had many different stylists when I have gone, and always trust them. I also have recently fell in love with Sydney.She knows how I want my hair, and shes amazing at fades and undercuts. She also tells me which product I should best use for my style of hair cut as well as how to style like she did. Always remembers my face and have lovely conversations.Always clean and friendly when I go in, sometimes during lunch or right when people start to get off it can be a bit of a wait. But for Sydney I will wait. Love this place and love my steam towel!!

There were only two women working and when my husband arrived there they were assisting people and there was one person ahead of him. It took awhile to finally be seen. Such a huge place to only have two workers. He got a hair cut and beard trim. The service was average. Unlikely we will go to sports clips again.

Cant even get an appointment. The online checkin never works and when call the store all they have to say is restart your phone.

Decent haircut, but I paid $21 for what special exactly? Overpriced and the staff complained the whole time about getting off directly at 5pm. I saw a sign that said famous hot towel? And no talcum powder, she just cleaned my face with a dry towel. Won’t be going back.

Went here to get my husband a haircut and tried to get my 1 year old one too. The hairstylist that worked with my son did wonders! Honestly he fussed quite a bit with the new experience, yet she was able to make it happen! Very pleased with the experience and he has such a hands-on haircut now!

All the stylists are great and friendly. The wait times can be long on certain days/times but it seems to go fairly quick. Lots of TVs to help pass the time if there is a wait.

For the second time in a row I checked in online and arrived within 15 minutes. Both times the stylist had just taken someone else and wanted me to wait more than a half hour. If I could give them a lower score I would. They have the worst customer service EVER. I will never visit again. They lost a customer for life.

Went in there for the second time and had the same experience. Waited over an hour and a half while The ladies took their sweet time and flirted with customers . They must think people have nothing better to do than go in there and hang out all day. Highly unrecommended and will never be going back

The lady who did my sons hair cut the back of his neck across his hairline. One sideburn is shorter and thinner than the other. I wish I would have taken a closer look before tipping and paying. Will definitely make that longer trip to the Williamsburg location. The ladies there know what theyre doing!

This place is hit and miss. The stylists seem to pick whom they can flatter and try to get a larger tip than to pick whos next in line. I had over a 35 minute wait, so I told them, hang on, I am going to run to Lowes, pick up a part and be back in 10 minutes. I left, it took me a few minutes to get to lowes, found the part and returned with ample time to get back. In the mean time, I am bumped down at least three people. I waited until my 35 minutes were up and left, even though I was the last one in the waiting area. Dont tell me one thing and then do something else. Ill simply take my business elsewhere, where it cheaper and leave some one else a good tip. Simply over rated and honestly? expensive for the service provided. There are 25-30 other places just around the corner. Cya.

I asked for a fade into a faux hawk. See pictures below for their interpretation of a fade.Manager took me in her chair, she was pleasant and engaged a little in conversation. She asked what I wanted then started.Her next appointment came in and I was out of her chair within 5 minutes.

Sunny is my favorite hair stylist ever. She has all the skills to give you the best cut you have been after.

I asked for a certain stylist and was confirmed that she was working and was given her hours.I drove 45 minutes to find out that she was not even working that day. This is unacceptable and you have lost my business! Bunch of clowns not knowing what they are doing! Beware and be careful if you are looking for a certain stylist and be prepared to be diappointed.

Do not go there. Tried to explain how I wanted my haircut and ended up in an argument about how my hair should be cut and not what i want. Asked not to cut too high on the sides. Sides were cut too high... Only reason i went there is because im from out of town and my local sportsclips is the best. Do not waste your time here.

Update: I had a coupon that gave me half off the MVP experience. Instead of giving me half off, they only shaved $2 off my bill. The whole thing was extremely deceptive, and as a result I am never going back.This place is pretty nice, and its a good value if you get the season pass ($100 for six haircuts, includes shampooing and back massage). Definitely ask for Jessie, shes easily the best stylist there. The other stylists are ok and do a better job than the ones in Williamsburg. Sometimes the wait is really long, so its better to avoid the busy times (lunch and rush hour).

I called at about 11:45 AM to see if a particular stylist was in, was told she would be in at 12. Showed up a couple minutes after 12, saw the stylist on the whiteboard as being scheduled for 12 - 7. Signed up, putting her name down. At 12:50 I asked someone else if that stylist was in and was told she would be in at 1:15 or 1:30. Why didnt anyone tell me that?Ive been her a number of times and the quality is hit or miss depending on who you get. I wont be returning.

40$ haircut? No thanks. They are allways discounted or free cuts. Dont trust them. Save your money.
