I got the best haircut from Heather today! When other places in York gave me terrible haircuts, she listened and gave me exactly what I wanted. I would recommend this barbershop to anyone! If you are looking for a good quality haircut for a reasonable rate- go here! They cant be beat!!!

I have been getting my hair cut here for more then twenty years. First by John Topper, now by Dominic. Not the fanciest place but always clean and friendly. I see a lot of familiar faces when I go in so a lot of people keep coming back. So will I.

I believe her name was Teresa - she did an awesome job on my hair! I haven’t gotten it cut in years and was so nervous to have someone cut it but she did awesome and I love it! The perfect amount taken off and she was sooo friendly :)

My hair is so long I need two barbers to work on it!! Okay... so what does a girl know about going to a barber? This girl knows plenty! I have alopecia and have been shaving my head for six or seven years. Ive had horrible experiences like having my ear cut, visible lines, bad attitudes, and snarky comments about shaving my head. Until I found Jeff, Dominic, and the crew at Mt. Rose Barberama!! So not only do I get a fantastic buzz and hot neck shave, but they are welcoming, funny, and genuinely nice people. And its not just a barbershop either!! They see men, women, and children for a variety of services. Pretty great cut, isnt it??

Great staff and old school barbershop vibe. Hip but not trendy...Dom is great. Great conversations about a range of topics while getting you hair cut, but especially about music with Dom. I drive 97 miles one way to make it happen so if you live under 40 miles away you have no excuse to not come here for a great new style.

I know the owner, so it may be slightly biased to give a 5 star review. However, I havent had a bad experience here, and the option to either have a reservation or a walk-in is a big plus if you dont know when youll be available. The employees are always nice. Overall, I would recommend stopping by if youre in need of a good haircut.

Used to love this place, but when I took my grandpa to get his haircut we had a bad experience. We both told the hairdresser not to cut my grandpas hair too short, just a trim, and he cut it shorter than its ever been. He also charged more than we have ever been charged. Time to find a new barbar shop.

Staff is friendly and very good at what they do but to have walk ins wait a half hour and certain barbers only do appointments while the wait is so long can be frustrating. 2 people working when 5 barbers are on just to have the other 3 waiting when you have 5 customers waiting seems pointless. Walk-In structure could use an improvement.

Got a fresh shave to clean up after no shave November. Jeff did a great job. Everyone there was very friendly. Itll be the new spot.

I have been with Jeff the barber since my boys were babies. He has always been patient with the boys and flexible with my hectic schedule. My sons always leave happy with a fresh cut.

Been coming here on and off since I was a child. Now that Im an adult, I tend to be rather picky on who cuts my hair. Ive only had 2 bad haircuts at this place and theyre from a relatively new guy. That being said, every other stylist here has given me a very pleasant experience and nearly perfect results. One in particular is Kevin. Great conversations, and gets it exactly how I want it. I needed a Barber Shop that is open on a Saturday, due to my work schedule during the week. This place fit the bill, open 7-2 on Saturday, I walked right in and a friendly staff member named Johnathan got right down to business. Excellent work and very reasonable price. Couldnt be happier
