Arts rental is very convenient when one needs a tool without buying it. The rental fees are reasonable and they give ample time to use the equipment to finish the job. I highly recommend this business no matter where the location is

Stellar service & selection. Five stars, no doubt.I did have one issue when returning my rental.I was told twice that the oil that came with the rental was mine & Id paid for it. When I dropped my rental off, I was told that was not the case, and they charged me for it.Totally not a huge issue, as it didnt cost much and was well worth the value I got from the rental, but just confusing!Still, they went so far above & beyond during COVID season that they deserve AT LEAST 5 stars

RE: Customer #92386, Contract #’s 42793-10 and 43766-10Now that I’ve returned the equipment and my rental has ended, I feel I can safely give feedback about my experience without fearing retaliation.This concrete saw rental was one of the most horrible experiences I’ve had in my life.The main problem seems to be the complete lack of instructions in how to use the equipment.First, the cooling water connection was a “quick disconnect”, and I only have a normal garden hose. I had to make one return trip to Dry Ridge for the quick disconnect adaptor I should have been given in the beginning. Then, I had to return that adapter because it would not seat, and stay seated properly, to provide the cooling water. All this caused me to waste 3 hours and not accomplish anything.Second, I was not shown how the throttle mechanism, with a “dead man switch” on the saw cart, operated. This caused me to lean over the saw and cart to operate the throttle with one hand while I pushed the cart with other hand. Obviously, this was very painful and exhausting.I stated several times that I had never used this equipment, I had never rented this equipment, etc. I did everything put hold up a big sign saying: I dont know how to use this equipment. Please help me!If the Art’s Rental employees are going to assume all their customers know everything about how to operate their rental equipment, then maybe they should limit rentals to “Licensed Professional Contractors Only”.My feedback will not affect any future rentals because I will never, ever rent equipment from Art’s Rental in Dry Ridge, KY again.My Mother always told me: “You never get a second chance to make a good first impression.”

Took care of tree limbs growing to close to the house with a pole saw from Arts. I picked it up at their Newport location, dropped it off in Cold Spring. Convenient, friendly, and they will show you how to use the tool.
