I have been going to Black Hills Dental for years. The staff are wonderful and friendly and Dr. Samuelson is great. I come away happy and well cared for.

Full disclosure..... I work for an seo company which has no relationship or is doing business for Black Hills Area Dental.Ive been a patient of Dr. Samuelson for several years. I cant tell you how caring this office is...from routine cleanings to emergency care they always make me feel like my comfort is theyre top priority. I also believe Im a challenging patient for them at times too, from not taking good care of my teeth all these years to waiting until last minute for emergency visits to fix a painful tooth, they always make me feel welcome and treat me with respect. Dr. Samuelsons the best. Thank you for making me feel important and have answers to my concerns before any procedure. Bad news... Ive got a few crowns and a bridge coming this summer...good news is Im going back to BHAD where I know Ill get good care. Patient for life.......Robert Sharp

Dr. Samuelson is unbelievably talented. I subjected my teeth to a 12-pack of soda a day for at least a couple of decades. He saved most of my teeth (I thought for certain, Id be in dentures) and now Im a proud new owner of a bright new smile. During covid, I figured whats the point of getting my teeth done if Im just going to cover them up with a mask; however, pain is a great motivator and it came with a great epiphany: Smiling during a pandemic is a must, even if the only person that sees it, is looking in the mirror. Thank you Dr. Samuelson!

Very rude receptionist. Pushing me to get multiple x-rays even though I had them recently taken at another dentist. They are trying to maximize profits and will likely push people towards unnecessary treatments to make more money. Seems like a scam to me.

If you are reading this review you are likely doing what I did before choosing Black Hills Area Dental. Honestly, I would stop looking for the best dentist because you found it right here. Dr. Samuelson, Bart, is tops in my book. The short of it is he saved my tooth, did a root canal, made a crown and cemented it in all in three visits. His concern for your comfort, pain and your teeth is chapter one in my book. To be a premier dentist you need great staff, they always make the dentist look good, and they are the best.

These folks really care! Make you feel part of the family. They are all terrific from the front desk to Dr Bart. Best dental experience my husband and I have had in our 70+ years!

I love this dental office. I have been going here for several years and I always have a great experience. Dr. Samuelson does exceptional work and takes pride in that. When I walk in the door the front desk girls always know my name and greet me like a friend. They are all very kind people. I would recommend this office to anyone.

I cannot say enough good about Dr. Samuelson and BH Area Dental. I just had extensive dental work done there - bridgework that encompassed ten teeth - and I am THRILLED with both the care I received and the final result! Everything, from the prep work to the temporary bridge to the final permanent bridgework, was done with care and precision. Dr. Samuelson works with a master ceramist and that is a winning combination. His staff is excellent as well. Thank you Dr. Samuelson for giving me a beautiful smile!

The staff are so friendly, kind and helpful. I always dread going to the dentist to get cavity fillings. Guess what my experience was amazing. I didnt have to have any numbing medication. Thats right no numbing!!! they used a new laser that makes it pain free and simple. I got three done at one time and i was able to eat and drink right away and didnt have to wait for the medication wear off. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Bart for many years now. Top quality dental services, excellent staff, and comfortable environment. They are responsive as well, and have gotten me in fast when I needed urgent dental care. Most recently, I have been receiving treatment for Sleep Apnea and snoring. I did not want to go to a CPAP right away and was pleased to find out Black Hills Area Dental offered an alternate solution to my problem. I have been using the ProSomnus oral appliance for over a month now. I obtained immediate results with a better nights sleep. I no longer wake up multiple times throughout the night and feel more rested and energized the entire day. I highly recommend Black Hills Area Dental and Dr. Bart for your dental needs and especially for an alternative to a bulky CPAP machine if you are having trouble with Sleep Apnea.

Great service. Im very happy. I had be rescheduled a couple times because Dr. Samuelson had things come. No big deal - Im a clinician so I understand that that can happen. Both times I received a gift card from Dr . Samuelson. Totally unnessecary but much appreciated gesture. Staff is very friendly. Appt. reminders efficient. Great dentist office. Im confident that Im getting the best care possible from both dentists (I have seen both) and their team.

I have gone to Black Hills Area Dental since I was teenager. I could not imaging going to any other clinic. Just recently, I had to have an old filling replaced due to normal wear and tear. I absolutely dread getting numbing injections for fillings and the continued numbness after the procedure. Dr. Scranton informed me they now could numb the respective tooth with a laser rather then numbing that entire side of the mouth. I barely felt a thing! I was able to go to dinner right after the procedure without having to worry about biting my cheek or tongue.

All the staff at Black Hills Area Dental are absolutly amazing. I have high anxiety when going to the dentist and all the staff make my anxiety levels a lot lower then they use to be. They are a great bunch of people and really make me feel comfortable.

Very helpful, professional and friendly. I was very worried about pain as I needed work on a tooth that has caused lots of problemsIn the past. They gave me extra pain relief during my filling and I was very grateful!
