I have only gone here twice and I will be a life long customer. Both experiences were amazing. The staff is friendly, they actually do there best to find you a fair price and save you money. The service is fantastic, they work hard to get it done quick and right the first time. They even provide a free two week check up to make sure everything is up to par. If you have transmission issues go here its worth your time even if you have to drive there.
Needed my transmission fluid and filter changed and the gave a fair price and squeaked me in. Got me squared away quick and easy. The dude I dealt with was friendly and professional, and very helpful. Good business.
Andrew at Eds Transmission was awesome. He checked over my transmission after experiencing intermittent issues. When all looked normal, he gave great me advice for next steps with what could bethe problem. He also performed the check free of charge. I was super thankful for how helpful and timely his help was. I went with Eds transmission based on a recommendation from the gentlemen at Vavoline. I cannot recommend enough.
These guys put a new clutch in my car around a year or so ago, and no problems at all. Took me long enough to review this place but I can now honestly say they did a great job and the price was inside my planned budget with change back. Great service. Highly recommended. Thanks.
This shop is awesome. The staff is knowledgeable and provides excellent service.
Ive used Eds for 2 transmission rebuilds on company vehicles, a transmission replacement on a friends car, and regular transmission maintenance over the years. These guys are busy for a reason! Always an accurate diagnosis, fast friendly service, extremely knowledgeable, and priced well below the dealers! Who would go anywhere else? Thanks Andrew and team, you folks are the best!
Most friendly and knowledgeable mechanic Ive ever met. I had a nightmare of a car that was bouncing between multiple shops for over a year and no one could could fix it. Andrew always went above and beyond to help me with it the whole time. I couldnt expect better service from a business owner.
Great service, price was fare . Made an appointment, dropped my car off and by 11am the next morning my truck was done.. Ill always use eds and so will family and friends..
I went in to just have a TH400 case thrown into their hot tank. Andrew treated me like a customer that was spending a ton of money. Friendly and willing to help even though I was only having a transmission case cleaned. I’ve never had them build me a transmission, but if I had to base it off of how I was treated I’d definitely have them do work for me. Thanks for looking out for all your customers, even the small money ones.
Above and beyond service! Friendly, on time, upfront and fair prices! They were able to help me out huge and fit my truck in even though I didn’t have a appointment because another shop nearby dropped the ball. They had my truck serviced from front to Back in one day and even offered to get my oil change done while it was there. Highly recommend and will always use from now on, customer for life!
Quick service, good price and nice staff.
Andrew did a fantastic job on my 4L60E- he worked with me to rebuild it better than stock and at a more reasonable rate than any other shops I talked to. I received multiple updates throughout the process and my vehicle was done several days before I was expecting it. Overall a great experience, I highly recommend Eds and will be back for any future transmission work.
Andrew is top notch. He got my truck in quick to rebuild the transmission and had it done by the week. My truck would start slow when it’s cold. He had the transmission out, he decided to change the starter too. Great trustworthy guy. I would bring any of my rigs here knowing how honest Andrew is.
Got a slave cylinder replaced. After 8800 miles the slave cylinder went again(probably a defective part). More than a year after warranty expired. They replaced it a second time for only $100, instead of the almost $600 it usually costs. Thought that was definitely more than fair. Will be going back if something else comes up with my transmission, hopefully it wont. These guys stand behind their work, even when technically they dont have to. Thanks Andrew!
Very helpful, gave me a clear diagnosis on a quick schedule.
Andrew is the best. Honest, fast service at a fair price.
Andrew is great. Its hard to find a good mechanic/shop that wont take you for a financial ride. These guys are honest and fair.
Good place to work at and good people to help with any problems you have with your transmission
Excellent work. Great people and conscientious. Know their stuff
I was referred to Eds Transmissions by a co worker. I took my 99 tahoe in because my transfer case was making a grinding noise. I was quoted $1550 and that they would need the vehicle for 3 days. I got a call 2 days later the vehicle was ready and it was only $960. He said the transfer case was in better shape than he had thought it would be. They could of charged me the $1550 and I would not have known any better. They were very honest and professional. I highly recommend Eds Transmissions.
Very friendly very helpful definitely would recommend every time!
Excellent service, friendly, accomodating, knowledgable, honest, good pricing, on time ect... Andrew is a great guy and he knows how to run a great business! Thanks for all the help!
Great service, very professional. Price was great and new transmission is running beautiful. I recommend Eds for any transmission work you need.
Used these guys a few times now and they are very friendly, very professional and reasonably priced. Ill definitely be a customer for many years. Keep up the good work!
I made an appointment a week ago for my subaru to diagnose the awd. They quoted me $80-$120 to diagnose it. I dropped my car off at 8:30 and as I was walking in he asked if I was dropping off the subaru. They remembered me and my car without me saying anything. They had my car for about 4 hrs, when I came to pick up my subaru, he informed me 9n what they had found out and what they believe to be thales problem. He also said, no charge. Just remember us if you decide to have it worked on. Best experience I had at a mechanic shop.
Andy took EXTREMELY good care of me. Very nice, professional, and took care of my Mazda for a more than fair price. Can’t recomend this place enough!
Great people and they helped me out a ton and worked with me so my truck would get fixed. The is a great place and I cant say that enough.
Restoring an older motorhome that had 57,000 miles on it and I figured it was its first transmission service in 32 years! It had broken a bolt an old Court gasket :-) they did not charge extra for this just to standard service charge to do a transmission service ! :) Awesome job with very nice people!
This staff was amazing! Very concerned about my issues. I was treated like family. Did my diagnostic work free of charge and suggested I do cheaper things to figure out my problem before I spent too much money for the wrong issue . They care.
Awesome place, excellent service. Highly recommend. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable on the work they preform.
We have had two or three vehicles serviced by these great guys! Many times we drop it off late and its done way before I would expect. The price is always fair and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a transmission shop. A+++++++ for customer service.
My truck felt like it was skipping a few beats and I was planning a trip but my check engine light was on, so I brought it to Eds to have a safety inspection. I told them that I was going to be doing a good deal of driving the next day and needed to make sure the truck was safe to travel. They gave me the all clear. The next day while on my trip, the check engine light came back on while I was driving. I had to have the truck towed to a shop down in Castle Rock.Turns out, Eds missed a spark plug wire that was completely burned through.I dont know why they didnt read the computer, it would have told them that I had a cylinder 7 misfire. Overall, disappointed in the level of service we received that day.
I was passing through Marysville on my way home from a long fishing trip to Vancouver Island when my transmission went out. I limped to the local Walmart and spent the night in my camper. Next morning I limped over to Eds. They listened, ran diagnostics and took us for a test ride all by 9AM. They ended up pulling the pan and showing me that there just wasnt any debris in it. A cam sensor had also gone bad and the transmission had definitely overheated. They advised me to let them change the sensor and service/change oil/filter the transmission and sent me on my way by 12:30pm that day. Havent had any issues since.Extremely fair, knowledgeable and honest people. I am fairly handy but they could have easily told me I needed a new transmission the way the truck was acting. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.
Awesome guys! Good prices and excellent service! Will do business again.
I live in the area and work on transmissions from time to time. Ive gone to Eds on a number of occasions, they have always been helpful with information and parts that Ive needed. Look forward to doing business with in the future.
Helped me with a quick fix to get my car running
Instead of charging me the outrageous stealer price for a shift lever assembly for my old GMC Jimmy, the guys sourced a working Wrecking Yard part and saved me a ton of cash and got it out in 24 hours. I would highly recommend them.
If your looking for honest, straight forward, quality transmission work, Eds of Marysville is the place to go.As a mechanic myself, I have bought parts over the years from Andrew at Eds. From small parts, to invaluable knowledge, the guys at Eds have always been fantastic. When the transmission in my Ford diesel started to have issues I called down to Eds and talked with andrew. He was once again, very knowledgeable, and very helpful answering questions I had about my issues. When it was apparent that I would not be able to fix the issue myself it was very easy to schedule a time to drop my vehicle off.I dropped my truck off on Monday morning using their convenient key drop box. By 10am Andrew had called and confirmed that the transmission was dead. He quoted me a price that was very fair (less than any other shops in the greater Seattle area), and gave me a timeline of 5-6 business days to make the repairs. That Thursday I recieved another call from Eds and was informed that my truck was done and ready to go.Not only was Andrew honest, but he went above and beyond to keep me informed about the status my transmission.I feel that in no way was any info was hidden from me or that I was being over charged at all. I was able to see my old broken parts and I now have a transmission that work perfect.
I took my 1998 Toyota Camry there to have a simple transmission flush, clean filter and new transmission fluid service to my car. They cant even to that right! After getting my car back I checked the transmission dipstick fluid level. The transmission fluid is almost as dark and dirty as it was was I brought it there! *I DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING YOU CAR THERE! They are dishonest and lazy !!!
Great people, Extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend their services.
Unscrupulous, Dishonest Owner Who Keeps You Waiting.I purchased a used electric vehicle from Eds Transmission. The owner, Ray, assured me that they had checked the vehicle carefully, and were confident it was in excellent mechanical condition. He stated that I would be eligible for a free new battery from the dealer shortly (via the battery depletion warranty), which would double its driveable life. The day I picked up the car, I stopped at my local Nissan dealer and was told, among other mechanical matters, that there were major problems with the vehicle due to rodent damage that made it unsafe to drive. And, these issues had been previously disclosed to Eds Transmissions by their local Nissan dealer (Karmart) in Nov. 2017. Eds Transmissions had declined to have the dealer repair them. The repair estimate to make the vehicle safe to drive was $3,963.20. The other repairs were another $1,363.10--almost doubling the purchase price. Then I discovered that Eds Transmission had misled me about the battery replacement. This warranty had expired in 2016. Purchasing a new battery, which I will need to do within 25,000 miles in order to still be able to drive the 15 miles to town and back will cost $8,150 at current Nissan prices.I contacted Eds & sent the estimate and relayed the battery issue. The owner insisted that the dealer was making up the problems--that Eds had repaired them. I offered to take the vehicle to another mechanic for a double check (so I paid again for an estimate). Unsafe to drive condition was confirmed, yet Eds refused to either help with the repairs or accept return of the vehicle. He kept me waiting. He said he would deliver the car once my check cleared the bank. I called him after the check cleared (a Thursday morning) and did not hear back from him for four days. At that point, he was no longer willing to deliver the vehicle to my home--rather I had to meet him 12 miles away to pick it up--but not for another four days.
The mechanic named Andrew did a great job rebuilding our transmission, he was informative and it was a fair price for the rebuild.
Honest, quick and inexpensive
Stopped by without warning and they were quick to help me with a small issue I was having right then and there and didn’t even want any money, not saying they will do this every time but that shows they’re good people that’s for sure. I’ll be back!
Went to Their shop around 10am to get my car a diagnostic on the transmission, and was most certainly in need of a new clutch but Andrew and the guys took the extra step in searching for the problem and turned out to be the Transfer Case, all within a timely matter, will definitely go back for future work.
Great service, fair prices and the work done fast!
Had full service, an intercooler, and auxiliary fan put on my 07 Tahoe, shop crew didnt tighten coolant line. 2 months later I blew the line down the freeway and dropped 4 qts of fluid, Eds fixed the problem.. 6 weeks later tranny is fried with no reverse, 1st, 3rd, 4th. Eds refused to take responsibility for anything stating my 20 month old 20k mile rebuild was just repaired when I ordered a master rebuild kit. My advice to is go somewhere else, the owner Ray has no integrity.
GREAT JOB GUYS!!! HELPED ME OUT IN A PINCH AND DONT HAVE A BAD WORD TO SAY ABOUT THEM OR THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE
They refused to warrantee my transmission that was built by them 4 months ago. That had a 1 year warrantee.. pump in the trans broke with 3k miles on the build.
Quick turn around service!
Good people
Awesome work.
Great service
Thanks for that
