Dr. Tom is amazing with my 5 year old daughter. She had to have several cavities filled and a child root canal, and he was fantastic with her. She absolutely loves going to the dentist. Today she had her cleaning and was so happy to go! She says Dr. Tom is so funny and he loves his assistants too.

Today was our first visit to The Greatest Smiles on Earth. It was a fantastic visit! Everything I read about this practice was true! All the staff that we came in contact with were friendly and provided great service. When I asked my 6 year old son, “what did you think of your dentist appointment? and he says “it was the best dentist appointment ever!!”, I think that’s a win!

Need I say more than the honest fact that my children (ages 3, 7, 9, 11) CHEER when I tell them that they have a dentist appointment? I am not joking. They love Dr. Tom, the silly contests, the balloon, and the fun environment. I love the gentle manner of all of the staff and hygienists. And I appreciate Dr. Toms thorough examination and explanations to my kids and then to me. Even in the midst of pandemic times, with new policies in place, Dr. Tom and his staff have made going to the dentist an easy and even pleasant event for which this mama is grateful! We recommend Greatest Smiles to all of our friends with kids!

My 5 year old daughter absolutely loves Dr. Thomas Becher and staff. She actually looks forward to going to the Dentist! Dr. Thomas A. Becher is very pleasant and informative makes me very comfortable having him as my daughter’s Dentist.

We started coming here after looking around for a dentist for our son. We went to two other dentist offices and they really did not fit well with our kid. They always had issues, could not even take pictures/ X-ray of his teeth without a fight and my son hated going to the dentist. Those offices even blamed my son for the issues they had but guess what it was not his fault. Then we found Dr. Thomas A. Becher The Greatest Smiles on Earth. Best dentist we have ever found, super great with our son and now he loves going to the dentist. No fight, he enjoy every visit even if he needs serious work done. We even drive about an hour to get here, worth the drive. I would highly recommend this pediatric dentist 5 Stars. Circus themed office, bonus!

Dr. Becher and his entire staff make my kids feel so at-ease at a dental appointment. The first couple of visits, when they were young, the staff made sure to explain every step of the cleaning and even let the kids examine the tools up close before they went into their mouths, which really put their minds at ease. (The strawberry fluoride treatments are pretty good, too, I hear.)My oldest is now doing orthodontic work with Dr. Becher, and hes been wonderful at explaining the process to us and walking through the entire treatment plan at the outset. They set parents minds at ease, too, I guess you could say!I have referred friends to Dr. Becher for years and would recommend the practice to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.-- Monica D

My brothers and I came to Dr Becher as children and now I bring my kids to him. He is the very best. He is gentle and kind, and an expert at dentistry and orthodontics. Hands down the BEST pediatric dental practice out there. From our intake call, to our visits and follow up cards in the mail they have gone above and beyond. As a kid who was afraid of the dentist,I wanted to make sure my kids had a great first experience. To say it was great is an understatement - my kids LOVED it. The office staff is phenomenal and Dr. Tom and his team are wonderful with the kids!!

Dr. Tom, Lexi, Dina, and Annie are all fantastic. I have 3 kiddos and we have had bad experiences that ended in tears at other offices. Our first visit here they all made the kids feel so welcome and comfortable. All three kids look forward to coming for their visit and seeing the team!

My kids (5 and 3) went there for the first time and loved it! Lexi was amazing with both my boys and showed them every tool she was going to use before she even started. Dr. Tom was extremely friendly and Kayla was super helpful with paperwork and getting us checked in. Highly recommend this place!!

Amazing! I went there my whole childhood and had a wonderful experience. Now my son goes there, and he loves going! Very friendly and patient dental hygienist, really made my shy son feel comfortable.

My daughter and I absolutely love Dr. Becher and his staff. He is both her dentist and orthodontist. They are so friendly and her appointments are always on time. He would come out after every appointment to give me an update. My daughter was happy to have her braces off but she was so sad that she wouldnt see them every month. They made her feel so comfortable and always so friendly. My niece was in town from Florida and her bracket on her retainer came off and Dr. Becher got her in right away and didnt even charge her.

My two sons, ages 9 and 4, have been going to Dr. Tom for their whole lives. My oldest loved Dr. Tom and the staff from the get go and is not only going there for his cleanings, but also his orthodontic needs. I am more than pleased with the way his teeth look and the whole orthodontic process. My youngest was very apprehensive and afraid of the dentist. The office staff and Dr. Tom went above and beyond to make him comfortable and ease his fears. My family and I highly recommend Dr. Tom, I would not take my children anywhere else.

We just love Dr. Tom, Annie, Kala & the rest of the staff at the office! Dr. Tom & Annie have made going to the dentist fun & enjoyable for my kids! They love coming back :) Kala is amazing in the office & hasnt missed a best with me & my insurance woes! Truly an amazing place with great people :)

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE. My sister and I went to him back in 2002-2006 and he is NOT an accredited Orthodontist, he is just a dentist. Dr. Becher severely ruined my sisters jaw, and many of her teeth. She was in braces for 10 years because of this fraud. We eventually went to Cook Orthodontics where an actual Orthodontist who encouraged to even pursue legal action against Dr. Becher for malpractice. DO NOT SEE THIS LYING FRAUD.

Wonderful experience. Visiting from out of state and was able to get right in for an emergency braces repai . Dr Becher and staff couldnt have been more kind and helpful.

Went to Dr.Becher from 1st grade until college. Great guy, great dentist, great environment, great staff, and hes fantastic with kids. I recently had an issue with a bridge he put in 15 years ago that was just supposed to be temporary, that was only supposed to last for a few years... Lasted way longer! Im now 35, and my regular dentist wouldnt touch it. So I walked into Dr.Bechers office and asked if he would help me with re-doing the bridge, even though hes a pediatric dentist. Thankfully, he agreed to help. This place is awesome, and I plan on Tom being the dentist for my son when hes ready for the dentist.

I have been going to Dr. Tom forever and I am never leaving! He is the absolute best and recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Ive been taking my kids since they were 2 years old. The staff is friendly and my kids dont mind going for their dental and ortho services. They stay on time with their appointments too. We havent had to wait too long to be seen and they are always greeted with a smile. Dr. Becher gives you an update at the conclusion of the appointment. I highly recommend this dental office for your childs care.

The staffs are very nice. My daughter is 2.5 years old. This is her second time to see the dentist for cleaning. Dr. Becher explained how to brush her teeth clearly and cleaned her teeth gently. She was fine and not crying at all. Thanks to Dr. Becher and the staffs.

Been taking my older son to Doc Becher for 5 years. Always a good experience and the staff there is particularly nice. My 3.5 yr old went for the first time today and was a little nervous and cried just a bit because of the noise of the utensils. But the dentist was patient and got the job done. The balloon at the end made up for it. I would recommend this location to anyone.

Dr. Becher is just the best! My son became a patient 2.5 years ago because he was in need of braces. Dr. Becher comes out and speaks to me every time and always keeps us very informed and his staff is just as fantastic! We love everyone there and highly recommend him!

Dr. Becher has been my daughters dentist and orthodontist for years. He is great with children as well as their famlies, wonderful people skills. He has the skills, knowledge and technology needed. Plus his staff is sensitive and helpful. We have never had to wait long for an appointment, though when we do wait for a short time we enjoy the tropical fish tanks in the waiting room (think Nemo and Dory). All around professional care.

We love Dr. Tom! We love the circus-themed office and we especially love that he is a dentist AND an orthodontist!!

The staff was very nice, punctual, I felt like my son got a very good treatment. They trully know how to make kids comfortable. The reason why this is not a 5 is the decor. The clauns on the walls are a bit scarry. The fish tanks, on the other hand, are very pretty.

Very nice dentist and my son never complained once. We are looking forward to having him as a dentist for our 8 year old.

My 3 year old son went to Dr Becher for his 1st ever dental appointment just a few weeks ago. When we walked in my son loved looking at all fish tanks & reading some books while we waited for his turn. My son is apprehensive while I assist with brushing at home, so I was a little nervous taking him to someone he didnt know. The second Dr Becher walked into the room he started communicating with my son and making him feel so comfortable. During the visit and cleaning my son didnt make 1 noise or peep. He loved wearing the cool Paw Patrol sunglasses while Dr Becher cleaned & counted his teeth. Dr Becher was awesome with my son & made him feel so comfortable. Which also made me feel at ease! I think my sons favorite part though was at the end he got to pick out a balloon in his favorite color (red) and some stickers. We are going to refer all our friends and family to Dr Becher for all their childrens dental needs!!

USES PAPOOSE BOARD ON FRIGHTENED TODDLERS: I took my 3 year old to Dr. Becher for his first dental check up and cleaning. My son has always been fine with the doctor, so I assumed he would be ok at the dentist. In the exam room, he was afraid to sit in the chair by himself, but I was not allowed to hold him on my lap. Dr. Becher spent about 30 seconds talking to my son before he wanted him to sit in the chair and look in his mouth. My son takes a little more time to warm up to someone, and I thought a pediatric dentist would understand this and accommodate to help young children feel comfortable. Instead, I was instructed to place my child in the chair, crying and screaming and hold him down, so Dr. Becher could do an exam. My son was so frightened, he would not calm down and kicked, screamed, and cried. I was then pressured into allowing the dental assistant to strap my son down in what is called a papoose board. Its basically a straight jacket, so Dr. Becher could do the cleaning. I did not feel good about it, but the Dr. pressured me into agreeing. My poor son was so frightened that he went into panic mode. He was kicking and screaming like a wild animal. Dr. Tom seemed annoyed that my son was acting up and talked down to him. When my son would scream, Youre hurting me! Dr. Tom would respond that No, Im not, just sit still. I am incredibly mad with myself for letting this take place, but I was pressured into it and not prepared for the use of the papoose board. Dr. Tom also placed an instrument in my sons mouth that forced him to keep his mouth open, but also caused him pain and bleeding on the floor of his mouth below his tongue. My son was shaking and his eyes were darting around trying to understand what was happening. It seems to me that the use of this inhumane papoose board is common practice at this office, as he immediately suggested it when my son wouldnt sit immediately in the exam chair. I looked up the papoose board after this visit and was horrified to learn that it is actually banned in some states in the US, and many countries because it is considered a gross breach of ethics. I will not be taking any of my children back to Dr. Tom and recommend that you look into his use of the papoose board before you take yours.
