5 stars is not enough!!I had a serious fear of the dentist and avoided going for years. After several recommendations to give this practice a try and a broken molar tooth that gave me terrible pain, I finally decided it was time. The gal that answered my call was very nice and reassuring. Dr. Gall had an open appointment for the same day so I scheduled to see him. The front desk staff ladies were so warm amd friendly when I nervously walked in.Dr. Gall was kind, understanding, and compassionate as I told him of my anxieties and fears. He explained everything and answered all of my questions. We made a plan to treat the immediate concern and move forward as I was comfortable. I have been back regularly to fix some issues and had my first cleaning in about 10 years.Dr. Gall and Alaina have been the best team. Ive been a patient for 3 major appointments and they always make sure I am comfortable! I can not rave about them enough. They genuinely care!Thank you for the amazing dental work and even more amazing care and compassion you show your patients!

We have been patients of The Gentle Dentist for about 24 years. We came when my youngest child was so frightened to go to the dentist and it was recommended that he be restrained. Instead, we visited The Gentle Dentist and they were able to work with him with no tears! I have been recommending them to anyone looking for a dentist. I had a cleaning and checkup today and everyone was as prompt, friendly and gentle as always.

Gentle is an understatement. I was asked consistently what my sensitivity level was (and re-anesthetized as needed), given countdowns to when I would be able to swallow, and they checked in with me very frequently to ensure I was doing well. The dentist and assistant communicated clearly, constantly, intelligently, and respectfully— they were a fantastic team. I was late and they still fit everything in (3 fillings, crown prep, and a temp crown) in less than two hours. Then they went above and beyond with their home prep for recommendations, tips, and specific guidance until Im able to get back into the office.My wife recommended them, and I couldnt agree more. 10 out of 10, would get dental work here again.Edit: Side note, they quoted my work out when scheduling my next appointment after my cleaning. One week later I received an explanation of benefits in the mail and the total was, in fact, less than initially quoted. The reminders were nice, too. Not a single negative thing about this establishment. I even tried finagling my scheduling to ensure I could afford everything and the receptionist was sweet, helpful, and ran the hypotheticals for me to see price breakdowns as we tried to formulate a new plan. Their original one ended up being the best option, after all.Great people!

It’s a new (to me) policy they have put in place that gets the doctors more face time with the patients and I can’t think of a better thing to do to ensure patient satisfaction.

Dr Cronin and Rachel were so wonderful! They were not only gentle but warm and friendly. For years I have talked to dentists about my night grinding and inability to retain guards. My grinding is starting to impact my dental health in ways that I’m desperate for a solution. Dr Cronin was the first one to LISTEN to my observations about why I struggle and what I thought might work. It was lovely to not be dismissed and to have A conversation with her about the pros and cons of what I felt might be best. She is truly a gem and it is evident that she genuinely cares about her patients!

Everyone is always so pleasant. The best part is they never find problems. Ive switched dentists in the past because every single visit theyd find a new area of concern and need to take care of that right away... not at the Gentle Dentist! Thanks to covid I was afraid to go so it was 2 years since my last visit. Even so, except for 3 little places of tartar when i finally stopped putting it off, it was a problem free visit yet again. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the gentle dentist is. I scheduled an appointment for myself along with three of my four children. We were seen almost immediately. Everyone was so kind and helpful. While I had x-rays, someone was able to push the baby in a stroller to a safe place and keep him happy. They worked quickly and did a great job. We were in and out in under an hour! Amazing job!!

These folks are amazing! Kind, caring and very knowledgeable. The use of updated technology to make visits just a bit easier on patients with newer techniques developed. An upbeat atmosphere with fantastic staff. (If you’ve had bad experiences with a dentist in the past, these are the people to connect with! They are fantastic!)

I have been doing business with this dental practice for years, at times even when they were out of network with my insurance, driving 55 minutes to appointments and spending several thousands of dollars. Do not cancel an appointment with these people less than 3 days ahead! I have had to reschedule “5 times” in the past 5 years, oh my! They do not take into consideration unforeseen circumstances, will bill you $100 and only allow you to make a same day appointment (only if they have room for you) in the future. Apparently they are so busy that they can take your business or leave it! They have definitely lost mine! I will no longer recommend this practice to anyone I care about. The patient does not come first, only the $$$$....................... I am updating this review in response to The Gentle Dentist’s response. You say that it is not your intent to charge patients under the circumstance of a cancellation and attempted reschedule (mind you, NOT a missed appointment), but you very greedily charged me $100 and threatened accumulating interest on that $100 (on an account that has been completely paid off for years) and very happily accepted that payment of $100. Your office informed me that future appointments could no longer be accepted and that I would need to call in daily to see if you could fit me in. Yet I remain on your mailing list because you still want the income from a future planned crown work up and have been trying to get me to agree to implants for years. Please, don’t support this type of business practice! Take your business somewhere else!

The Gentle Dentist is always on time for my appointments. I have never had to wait especially during the pandemic. They have safety protocols in place that Im comfortable with. Everyone is friendly. The Dentist or Dental Hygienist will answer any questions that you may have during your visit.

I have used several dentists over the years and after a change of office hours made my previous dentist inconvenient to use, I asked my friends for recommendations. After several of them mentioned the Gentle Dentist, I decided to give them a try and everything was just as good as they said.Their hours are convenient, every employee that Ive met in the past 2-3 years has been wonderful, and their treatments have been top notch. I have not been disappointed at all. My only minor quibble is that their billing system is not set up to easily handle patients that are fortunate enough to have multiple insurance providers so there has been a couple of points of confusion while trying to coordinate the payments.

Before the hygienist looked in my mouth, she said, well its been almost two years since your last visit, so we will clean half today and reschedule the other half. I said if you cant do the job you scheduled me for I will leave and go somewhere they can. Ive never heard of such a thing. She proceeded to do a half and poor job with attitude. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told to go somewhere else if I didnt like it. It was really bad service. Again, just y cleaning with no extras. I wouldnt go back anyways.

Before I started seeing The Gentle Dentist Id had other dentists quote me thousands of dollars in necessary dental work. I went to The Gentle Dentist several years ago and they didnt seem to think I needed all that. I think Ive had two fillings since then, with no issue.They are kind, gentle, and accommodating. Theyve never pushed unnecessary work or tried to upsell. Its a very different experience, and I appreciate that.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Everyone is kind, comforting and more than competent. Dr. Cronin is my hero.

I have had a difficult time with dental visits in general (fear, anxiety, even some shame mixed in) due to some issues as a young adult but the staff at The Gentle Dentist makes me feel safe, comfortable, and welcome...in spite of all of my issues. In particular, Dr. Nash is my favorite of all the dentists...he makes coming to the dentist fun. And if you know me, youd be shocked to hear that. I love this dentist office! They run like a well-oiled machine. Everything is on time and you never have to wait for to be seen when you get to the office. The staff is super friendly and super helpful. Ive been seeing Dr. Nash for some years now and he is my favorite person ever! Hes so kind and caring and does wonderful work on my teeth. Even though this practice is not in-network for my insurance and I pay a bit more, Ill never go anywhere else. Its so worth it and I tell everyone about them.

I was incredibly nervous to go to the dentist after avoiding it for 3 years. I had a broken tooth that I knew needed fixed. Dr. Andy and Jess were incredible from the get go. Within 24 hours of filling out the new patient forms I had an appointment scheduled. Dr Andy explained everything as they went during the first exam and cleaning and when I left I had a breakdown of what needed done. The front desk even emailed me a schedule that would work best with my insurance to get the most paid for. I had another appointment to fix my tooth in less than a week! The day of the procedure Dr Andy and Jess were incredibly kind, patient and understanding. I was given the option to have laughing gas (and took it). They checked on me throughout and explained everything as they went. I had brought a paper clip to distract myself while they were working and halfway through, I had forgotten all about the paper clip. It was the best dentist experience I’ve ever had. I won’t be going to any other dentist office. The Gentle Dentist is hands down the best.

I waited in the lobby for my dad, and I was very impressed with their professionalism and kindness.

There was a clear lack of communication. I travel for work and made it clear that I needed to take care of having a crown done and a filling placed on a tooth that butted up to that tooth. I was shopping around to try to have as much of it done as possible in as few visits as possible due to my work schedule. During my first appointment where they built up the tooth and scanned me for my crown it was again discussed about filling that cavity on the tooth that butted up to it before placing the crown. Two weeks later my crown came in and I went to my appointment to have the filling done and crown cemented in. I was escorted up promptly and they began fitting my crown to make sure all was well. I asked about the filling and was told it was not scheduled as part of the treatment plan. I explained what was discussed before and all they could provide is that they didn’t understand why it wasn’t scheduled and that I’d have to schedule a routine cleaning and full work up to develop a full treatment plan after making it clear that with my schedule I was not going to remain in the area long enough and needed to address these two issues before moving along and resuming care back home. All they care about is being able to bill for more services. Highly disappointed and would not return even if I was staying in this area.

Only give them 4 stars due to their front desk staff. They don’t seem pleasant and happy to work with myself or my husband. The hygienist and dentists are amazing however. I am not a fan at all that you have to pay in advance for dental work in order to schedule the appointment. I ended up having an item taken off my original bill and they now owe me almost $150, in which they said they would send a check. It was taken out of my HSA and I don’t think they will be able to put it back on my card. I also find it strange that they can give you an estimate, but to get a more exact estimate it will take like 4 weeks or something. My previous dental office was able to pull an exact estimate within minutes and the price never had to be adjusted because they were spot on the price. With comfort dental I worry about getting a bill as they seem to tack on more services with each visit that aren’t discussed price wise with you before they do each service.

I am very impressed with everyone at The Gentle Dentist! They are attentive and caring especially when it comes to patients who have fears or are anxious about a dentist. Dr. Nash was absolutely wonderful!

We have been coming here since 2012. They run a well oiled machine and will make you wonder why all medical offices dont this way. They are always cheery and make you very comfortable. They really live up to their name of being gentle. All the images from Little Shop of Horrors will melt away once they start your cleaning. They are very knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have no matter how numerous. They make you feel very at ease with their recommendations, helping you to feel they will only recommend procedures that are truly necessary. Love this place!

I genuinely enjoy going to the dentist here. Everyone is easy to talk to and it’s a comfortable setting. Today I had 4 fillings done by Rachel and Dr. Taylor. It took 35 minutes and I have no pain. Dr. Taylor numbed my mouth with care. I didn’t go to the dentist for 4 years so my teeth need a little extra attention during cleanings and they take care of me. The staff is excellent and Dr. Taylor will have u giggling with your mouth wide open. If you have any anxiety about the dentist, trust me that this is the place to go.
