I was referred to this mechanic and now I see why they come highly recommended!I came in because I was under the assumption based on a franchise dealerships advice that I needed rotors. However, DJ had my cars brakes and rotors inspected and they let me know in reality I had quite of bit of miles left that I could drive before having to replace them. I appreciate their honesty as they could have told me otherwise and had me pay for services not needed yet. While there, other clients made comments of how they only bring their vehicles there for this reason and are well-respected in the area.

These guys did a free inspection of a used car I was thinking about buying and quickly discovered catastrophic rust that the seller had completely failed to disclose. They could have pushed me for expensive fixes. They didn’t. They could have charged me for the inspection. They didn’t. It was like having one of those cool mechanic uncles who drives a mustang and has a dope mustache. Thank you Joe’s automotive. And god bless your metaphorical mustache.

My husband and I have a 1998 Accord thats a single family car weve kept in excellent shape. It was running rough; soon after, it wouldnt even start. DJ and David took so much time doing just the diagnostic work because they wanted to actually fix the problem, instead of just throwing parts at it. The main issue was that the distributor was bad, but there was a secondary problem: a valve cover gasket was leaking oil onto the spark plugs and wires, causing further electrical issues, as the oil eventually eats the rubber off the wires. Not addressing this issue would eventually make the new distributor go bad again. They explained everything to me very thoroughly and were not ever the least bit condescending (ladies, I know you know what Im talking about). DJ also explained that I didnt necessarily need to have my timing belt done just yet, since I primarily just use this car to run errands, and for the timing belt alone, he quoted me a price that was about $300 less than what a local Honda dealership quoted me (to say nothing of the pressure dealerships try to put on you). Overall, I was very pleased with their service, and wouldnt hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

Hard to believe there is an auto shop out there deserving of 5 stars but here they are. I brought my sons car in for an oil change and thorough check up before he heads away for college. I received the call it was done and told that it needed nothing other than a new battery (which I knew). This guy could have told me that the vehicle needed numerous things and because it is my son I would have done it but they were honest and now have a customer for life. This is how you run a business!

Very personable team. My car was diagnosed and repaired in less than an hour. I was educated on not only the repair but the of the details as to what was wrong. Highly recommended!!! I went to see DJ today about my brakes. I thought they needed some work. However, after a test drive and taking the wheels off, DJ told me they were in good shape and didnt need any work. I offered to pay him for his time, but he didnt charge me! Do you believe that?Its great to know there is an honest auto mechanic that you can trust! I will definitely tell everyone I know about Joes and go there when I need a mechanic again!

These guys are AWESOME! when I called the shop to explain what I needed done and to get a price estimate i spoke with the owner DJ and he was very knowledgeable and polite. He listened to what I wanted and didnt try to rush me off the phone. Once I came into the shop they immediately started working on my car. I asked DJ if he thinks I should maybe do some other things to my car or replace things I havent replaced before being that my car is a 2008. He was very honest with me and stated that he had drove my car after my repair and that it ran great and he didnt think it needed anything done I was mentioning. Most places would have told me I needed it done at the miles I have on my car just to make more money off of me. DJ and his crew are very honest and do good reliable work at a very affordable price and I will be going back to them with any future auto mechanic needs.

2005 Ford e250 ball joints replacement. Great service honest people and lowest price around. Before I used they service I did some research over 100$less then competitions around Marietta. Job done in one day car is handling perfect. Highly recommended. Get a quote from those guys before let someone else work on your car. Very good quality,low price and honest shop some other mechanic told me I have to change all front suspension they showed me my car on the lift and explained everything whats wrong. Joe is among the last of a dying breed of true service professionals. Hes soft spoken, honest, knows his stuff, and truly wants to see you leave with your car fixed for a reasonable price. We were extremely lucky to find Joe shortly after moving to the area, and he has treated us like family ever since. The one time a particular fix was beyond his area of expertise, he recommended another professional he trusted, who also did great work. I will recommend Joe to anyone in the area.

Joe’s Automotive is great. Very friendly people and great customer service. This is not a jiffy-lube type place, they have actual well trained mechanics who can diagnose your cars problem and repair it for a fair price, without trying to sell you windshield wipers that you don’t need! I’m purchasing a vehicle in Woodstock but live in North Carolina. When I needed a pre purchase inspection, Joe’s Auto Service was quick to be a tremendous help. Within an hour they had the vehicle at their shop and informed me of any discrepancies. Great service and very helpful staff.

Joe would never charge someone for something they don’t need. In fact, he warranty’s his work! We had a ignition coil go out on my daughters 2009 Corolla, and he replaced it. It was faulty, and he replaced it again at no charge. He could have easily charged us for another replacement as there are more than one. We would have never known. THANK YOU FOR YOIR HONESTY AND INTEGRITY!!!

Where DJ is not quit as cool of a mechanic name as Joe, I couldn’t help but notice that DJ is better on the ladies eyes than the Lord ever gifted Joe with. I was having some issues just up the street and decided to drop it by joe’s. He took a listen to my car and told me it needed a complete clutch rebuild.. which would cost around $2400 total. Suspicious, I asked him how he knew this just by listening to the car, he responded “well son, i’ve been doing this for 35 years. I know what that sound means.” Without doing any work, he charged me $50 to get my keys back (“check out fee”).I then took my car to another mechanic who I knew wasn’t cheap but did quality work. they diagnosed it for free (taking it all apart) and ended up replacing just the clutch itself, fixing my car for $900 out the door. My car’s been running perfect for several weeks now.I would call joe’s a complete scam and would not recommend for any reason.

My wife and I were searching for a used car, and today we literally visited Joes place three time, and he helped us any way possible.We even ended up finding a car (he brings both luck and good advise) and well definitely take the car there again!
