Bought a car that was inspected by Woodbridge Motor Cars. Woodbridge Motor Cars slapped an inspection sticker on it while the car had a bent frame with holes in it, exhaust leak, broken timing chains, and throwing multiple other codes. My mechanic stated that he could see that someone had erased the codes so I would not see the check engine light on. Luckily, the dealership agreed to take the vehicle back. Woodbridge Motor Cars agreed to pay to have the vehicle towed. They said to pay for it and they would reimburse me. I paid for it and then they refused to reimburse me. Being completely unqualified to do a vehicle inspection is one thing. The deceitfulness is really what drove me to write this review. I would not use this business for anything and would recommend you warn your friends/family against it.
Actually, the service has been great. We discuss what has to happen and he has been very transparent about costs (very Honest). He takes into account my type of vehicle, age, mileage and service history. We also discuss options of service which will work for me. I have been lucky to find a shop who is willing to keep me as a customer after all these years!!!! If anything needs a reevaluation he does his research and makes it happen. For example, one shop wanted to charge me $5000.00 for some work, I took my car to him and he only charged me half the price!!! My car runs well and looks great!!!
Always professional, prompt & precise work. I recommend there services to any & all.
They refurbished the 1985 Volvo 740 GLE to look like new inside and out. I could not believe the results. Before he started we discussed what had to be done and if something new developed he called me. He was very careful in removing the 34 year old plastic which meant he didnt have to find parts that are no longer made.
No response from the owner.
I have been a client of Woodbridge MotorCars since 2006 with 3 of my Volvo’s as well as my Honda Accord and NEVER had an issue. The owner is VERY professional and courteous and he’s honest about the price and if the repairs are worth fixing on older Volvo’s. He has repaired my vehicles without a scheduled appointment in instances of emergency repairs. He goes out of his way to ensure that my vehicles are in top notch service. He provides a loaner vehicle when needed so I’m not inconvenienced while waiting. And now that he does inspections - I bring all my vehicles to Woodbridge Motor Cars! You have been a life saver in more than one instance!!!
I took my Honda Odyssey there to get my a/c fixed. People are very friendly and the mechanic was very detailed in explaining the problem and what was done to fix it. Great customer service. Will definitely recommend family and friends.
I was so happy I took my VW here! AC wasnt putting out cold air! They were great to work with, fast, went over everything. They did NOT take advantage of me, being a woman! They didnot try charging more for having an import! Very friendly! Thanks!
Really good staff. Took my Tesla there for an expection and got it back in 30 minuets.
I visited this shop today for a safety inspection. It was my first time being here, the shop seemed to be okay. After the safety inspector pulled my car into the bay, and we spoke for a few minutes, the bay door suddenly started to close and I pretty much got kicked out of the shop bay area (I found this to be pretty rude and unsettling) without warning. I patiently waited and all seemed well, then they failed me for my inspection. Okay, surprise to me, cars do fail inspection though, what did it fail for? My passenger side high beam is out (funny because I just had it wired not even a month ago and my high beams worked last night) then they failed me for having sport suspension which is new and set to be in OEM M3 spec, saying it was too stiff. Also they said my parking brake needed to be adjusted, it isnt horrible but sure okay, fine. Funny thing is though, as soon as I got my car back, I immediately looked at my headlight. I found it very strange the wire for my high beam was tucked underneath other wires as if someone said hmm, whats this? then yanked it, and tried to hide the evidence. This was the telltale sign for me, that I will not be coming back, no, I will not accept their offer to fix it for me. They had my car for not even 30 minutes and returned it to me in worse shape than it was when I brought it to them. Also they have stupid steep prices, for example 160 dollars for headlight restoration. This shop is a total rip off and is one thatll damage your car in attempt to get more money from you. Now I have to look over my car and see what else they may have tampered with/done to my car, whether intentional or not. I would not recommend this shop.
This place is a total ripoff over charging is their specialty. I brought my car there for ac blowing out hot air and its still blowing out hot air. Also $400.00 dollars for a tuneup that should of cost $300.00 dollars and $160.00 for ac charged up and later telling me that i need a ac compressor that cost $900.00 dollars. Note no refund for not fixing ac $160.00 gone
Car stalled on way home from work. Had it towed here as they were the closest option for Volvo car I could find. The second star is because they worked without a visit from me. They repaired the stalling issue and a suspension issue, but there appears to be a few new issues (including no low end power and something wrong when making a left turn). I won’t be back here, but glad others had success with them.
Awful customer service whoever that guy was at the front desk.
Great service, dealership wanted to charge me 6.5 hrs labor for steering rack replacement, they did it in less than 3!! I will always take my car here.
Professionalism and friendliness
