I have never ever taken any of my vehicles to a mechanic’s shop outside of a dealership because I was always afraid of being hustled. However, I found them through a best friend of mine and now I won’t go anywhere else for my cars!! They DO hold themselves to a higher standard. They make you knowledgeable of what’s going on and what’s not going on. They don’t work off commission and prefer you to drive away safely and only fix what needs to be fixed. This place and it’s employees are truly a diamond in the rough when it comes to auto mechanic shops. If you’re a female also, these guys will make sure you’re educated on a lot so other places don’t take advantage of you!! They are trusted by so many businesses and people, that reputation speaks volumes! You won’t regret coming to them! They keep it 100 all day every day! Love them! (Also for this last visit it was a used car inspection they performed for me but I have had other work done and the work was phenomenal and cars ran exceptionally well afterward). Over the years and for many reasons, Ive remained loyal to MyTech Automotive for any needed vehicle repairs. Their customer service is far superior than that of other shops in this area. Wayne goes above and beyond for his customers and takes the time to breakdown the intricacies of each repair along with associated costs so that the customer understands what is needed and why. There is no other shop I would take my vehicles but using them for 15 years now. The can handle any vehicle, including classic and antique, any maintenance, upgrades or restoration. They always go above and beyound with a great attitude and professionalism. Honest work and fair pricing, they really treat everyone like family.

I dont know where to begin on how amazing this auto shop is! I have been a loyal customer for almost 8 years now, even with living more than an hour away during some of that time. I was told by my mechanic I needed a full exhaust system replacement. He said it was cost prohibitive and recommended I not do it because it will cost more than the value of my car. They recommended I call muffler places for a temporary Band-Aid which I got another high quote. Thank God for other reviews on the Internet! I found MyTech Auto in Woodbridge Virginia. I searched muffler/exhaust system repair and they had great reviews and lots of them. I called and Chris assured me it was not going to cost as much as they were all telling me. I brought my car in yesterday and it was done by the end of the day.. They quoted me the cost before beginning the work. I asked him if he was sure about the price as it was less than a 10th of what I have been quoted from the others. I think I found a new mechanic and will recommend them to everyone!

I have been taking my cars to Chris (Critter) Wilson at MyTech for years now. Critter has been working on my cars for years and I wouldn’t take my cars to anyone else. This guy gets the job done right and gets the job done fast. He has done everything to my cars including engine and transmission replacement. He always gets the job done fast and at a price no one could complain about.The waiting area is very welcoming and offers many amenities, from coffee to fresh popcorn! Wayne at the front desk helped me understand everything i needed to know. I’m not very good with cars and he was able to explain everything i needed in simple terms even i could understand. MyTech has been a big help for a lot of things I’ve needed done to my vehicles. I’ve had an engine replaced with them, they’ve inspected all the vehicles I’ve owned, they’re doing some of the custom work I’m doing now. They are honest and will not tell you something just to make a buck. They will treat your vehicle as they’re own and will make sure that even if it’s something they can’t provide, they’ll send you somewhere that can.AMAZING bunch of guys and no matter where I move in the DMV area, he’ll even NC, I’ll take my cars to them.

My mechanic that I had for years retired. The process and time finding a competent and honest mechanic causes both frustration and a ton of anxiety. After searching and screening many auto repair shops and not getting a good feeling, I decided to use Costcos auto repair referral service. MyTech Automotive was on their list of recommended providers. I called them and spoke with Wayne. I told Wayne that I was looking to have my timing belt and water pump replaced on my 2000 Toyota Tundra that has 285,000 miles. Wayne was very cordial and professional and I felt very comfortable with what he said. I then personally drove to MyTech to meet him. I liked his demeanor and knowledge and scheduled the work. Their shop is a straightforward functional, clean organized auto repair shop located in an industrial center that is located off of Rt. 1. I liked it that it did not look like the Taj Mahal or had some fancy dancy showroom. They performed the agreed upon work, plus I asked them also to fix my drivers side door that would not open from the inside. They did an excellent job!!! My motor is humming like it is new. I will be referring family and friends. They added a few minor fixes for me and did not even charge me for them.I appreciate their competence and professionalism. they are honest and will not nickel and dime you. I would also like to say thanks to Rob and Chris, two of the mechanics. Thanks for taking such great care of my truck!!!

Lives up to the awesome reviews. Very pleasant visit today to get brake pads/rotors replaced. Was in and out a little over an hour. Didn’t try to sell other services that I didn’t need like so many other mechanics. Definitely will return.

Outstanding work on my restored 1966 Mustang! I certainly dont trust this car to just anybody. Took care of leaks, transmission, electrical and other long-standing issues - car runs great!

Wayne, was amazing; besides taking his time to show me what were the problems with my car, he also went above and beyond his duties. He personally changed my tires, made sure my car was ready for me to drive away with, took a later lunch to take care of me and another customer. And thats what he always does to make each and every person feel special and secure leaving their car in his care! He is an incredible person! And the mechanics are the best there is! I called to see if they’re installing the lowering springs the guy said give me one second and then hang up on me lol what’s that supposed to mean?I called again a different guy picked up he was good, but he said they’re charging $700+ just to install lowering springs? That’s insane!

These guys are the best. Not only did they get me in right away but I was out in a few hours. The rates are reasonable and they provided me with a tow truck to get my Jeep there and included the fees in my bill so I didn’t have to pay multiple people. Thanks for a great experience. When I bought my car in you conducted a thorough evaluation and told me what my car needed immediately done to it and what needed to be done later. They quoted me a reasonable price and the repairs were done and done right. They are very knowledgeable and professional and very pleasant when interacting with customers. Best auto repair experience ever! The entire team there are obviously car guys. They are passionate about what they do. Above all else, they have a genuinely caring attitude about your car problem. MyTech Automotive will be my new go to place for Virginia State inspection. They are courteous and quick. I made an appointment to get my inspection done and showed up early, they took my car right in. I was in and out in under 20 minutes. Great customer service. Went in today to get an oil change and state inspection. Wayne is so friendly and always makes me feel at home when I am there. They have taken such great care of my 2006 Honda Pilot and there is no one I trust more with the maintenance of my Pilot or any vehicle that I would own!!

I am very skeptical when it comes to my car because mechanics can charge you anything if you dont know what the problem is, but the guys at Mytech where amazing. Had my brakes checked here after NTB lied about needing a replacement. These guys told me that my brakes were fine and didn’t need to be replaced even though it meant they didn’t make a sale today. The best mechanic shop that I’ve ever been to. From the beginning to the end is always a good experience. Good overall. There is a technician there who needs to cool his engine a bit. We had a discussion/difference of opinion about oil change frequency. He came back with a quart of oil & held it in front of my face & somewhat aggressively showed me the chart on the oil bottle. Unnecessary action for sure

Mytech Automotive is one of the best repair shops in Northern Virginia and the best in Woodbridge. Every time I come for a repair Wayne take the time to explain what is being done and the approximate cost it could be. Plus he tell you what other things you might what to look out for in the future. I have never had the high quality of service EVER!! He never talks down to me or is condensing in his explanation because Im a woman. They all treat each customer the same. I would recommend making an appointment for the weekend because slot can fill up fast most weekends.

Wayne and the team were great! Great customer service, explained all of my options, and the final bill was almost $200 less than the estimate because the parts ended up being cheaper. Compared to a dealer cost, they saved me hundreds and hundreds of dollars, and gave me much better service. I have been looking for a local mechanic, and I think I just found that in MyTech.

I started taking my truck there awhile ago and than began bringing all of my familys vehicles to them. They always do a great job and will explain everything that needs to be fixed, why it needs to be fixed and what your alternatives are.
