I highly recommend Sixpenny Chimney Sweeps. We had a dryer vent that was 90 percent filled with lint and dead birds. I made an appointment, and they actually called to see if they could come out earlier. The representative was very professional, and cleaned out over 20 feet of dryer vent. He also placed a grill over the outside vent so we wouldnt get any more birds trying to get in. The total cost was under $250. They did a great job and I definitely would hire them again.

Needed to replace the firebox floor and three panels. David did a great job and was very personable. Even learned a few things about chimneys/fireplaces. Looking forward to using the fireplace this winter!

Very happy with Sixpennys services! Their team did an excellent job on my chimney repair. It was a full scale repair which included repairs of the firebox, flue, and chimney cap. Great masonry workmanship. Franko provided excellent oversight to his team and was very informative and professional in his communication with us.Was also very pleased with the technician who provided the quote for our chimney job, David. During his inspection, he provided us service to clean our dryer vents and provided us with a needed roof vent repair in the attic. We had to call David back to address an issue that was related to the repair a week later and he was super responsive and came to repair the issue on the same day I called! He stood by his work and I respect that!After seeing how great their masonry workmanship was, we hired Franko and his team brick patio re-grade job. My wife & I look forward to this service!

I typically read other reviews and determine whether or not i would use. As for the technicians, they arrived on time, clean, professional, thorough and cleaned up after their job. I used them for my dryer vent that was over 20 feet long and in a finished basement. Overall good value, I paid 150.00.

Ugh, I found a dead bird 🐦 in my dryer. Then, I saw the nest on the outside in the vent. Then, David came on a windy day and said he couldn’t get on the ladder as one person bc it was too windy. He looked to get to the vent from the attic but couldn’t. Then, he used rods and a leaf blower to clean out the vent and get rid of the nest. I will have to get the cage put over the vent another day ( a less windy day ), but I am so happy to be able to use the dryer again. David was professional, nice and explained everything to me. He is also certified and did a great job. I would def recommend David at six penny

Sixpenny did great! I called yesterday, they showed up today within the timeframe agreed upon. The technician was courteous (wore boot covers), friendly and knowledgeable of his trade. He worked efficiently and cleaned up a big mess from my dryer vent. Caryl, one of the owners, was working the phone. She was pleasant to speak with, seemed genuinely concerned with my circumstance and eager to help. Their price was very reasonable and I plan to use them regularly.

Didnt show up for the first appointment. I waited all day and they were no shows. Did not call me to tell me they werent coming. I called their office and left a message for a return call. Never called me back.Today was the second time, so my husband called to make sure they were coming and we were informed they couldnt get here. Again, no call, and we waited most of our Saturday afternoon for them. Do not use this company if you want them to show up.

I called Sixpenny Chimney Sweeps to request an inspection because I smelled dampness near the walls of our two chimneys. They were courteous and very prompt, sending someone out that very afternoon to do the inspection, finding that the chimney crowns had deteriorated. We were given an estimate before the inspector left so we gave him our deposit to do the job, expecting to wait a few days for the actual repair. Surprisingly, the repair technician was able to come the next afternoon, and in the blazing heat he completed all of the repairs. The people we worked with were all courteous, prompt, and very professional!

Had our fireplace repaired by David. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave me a lot of information. He kept me informed throughout the whole process. Overall great service and good price.

Just had our dryer vent cleaned and are very pleased. A lot of stuff including a birds nest. Installed a cover so we dont have to worry about that again. He cleaned up everything before leaving.

I hired them through Amazon Services to clean my chimney. They were very professional, prompt and alerted me to an issue with my flu I was not aware of. I appreciated them patiently explaining to me how everything worked and what could be done to remedy my issue. Ryan was the person I spoke with. Very impressed, will be sure to hire them again.

Their careless technician let fluid from their equipment damage my property and it appears the company is unwilling to resolve. Customers would be better off avoiding this company.

Very dishonest practice by this company. I feel like I was scammed.This company lists their services on Amazon home services, which is where I found them. The service I purchased explicitly stated Chimney Cleaning and Inspection. I paid $125 to them through Amazon.No cleaning whatsoever was performed by the service technician. He spent approximately one minute looking into my chimney from my fireplace, then went on the roof to examine the chimney crown, then provided me with a quote for $425 to fix a cracked crown. Total time spent was less than 20 minutes, including time to set up the ladder and get on the roof. When I asked about the cleaning, he stated that he was only there to perform an inspection.Ive filed a complaint with Amazon and they reduced the price to $85 but I still find this experience unacceptable. I would not have selected their services to begin with if it were not for their false advertisement.While I did not find them through Google, I felt the need to post a review here to warn others about the this companys dishonest business practices. Be wary of dealing with them.

Ive know Franko the owner for about 20 years. I got to know him because i would work on his fleet trucks as a auto tech in Woodbridge. His always has done my duct and chimney work for me. 2 years ago i ended up having some water leaking into the house though the chimney and it was time to rebuild it. His crew was very professional and guided me though all of hat was to be done. I have always felt taken care of by any of his crew. Getting ready for another winter season with a yearly clean. Sixpenny was recommended to me by neighbors and I am very happy with their cleaning of my dryer vents in 2 separate locations. I could not believe the amount of lint they got out of my parents older home. The service person kept on working on the issue as he was not convinced all of it was out and he was right. I was flabbergasted to see what came out of our vents outside. He cleaned everything up nicely and even added tape to our indoor piping as he feared it was not secured properly. Could not be happier. In fact, that was last year and just scheduled another appointment with them for this fall.
