When you need plumbing help dont just use any plumber. I had 3 local ones come to snake out drains, but they all failed. Until I called on Nichols & Phipps. They sent the best they had. I explained that the last plumber had tried for 4 hours to snake out a bathroom sink drain, but left without success and I had no use of that sink for a month. Brad Mills is young but a seasoned professional. He tried for a bit also but then figured out he needed a much smaller snake, and it worked. Now I have a working sink where the others said they would have to tear the wall apart to just get into the pipe. Nichols & Phipps motto is true. When it is broken, we fix it. This Company did a great job on repairing our HVAC system during these tough times. They had all the COVID safety equipment, masks, face shields and booties. We had another contractor out here and they wanted to replace the entire system when Nichols and Phipps found a simple problem with our inducer motor and repaired it. The cost was $593.00 compared to $11,000 as others quoted for a replacement system.

Weve used this company many times over the years, but most recently for an extensive job requiring rerouting of plumbing and gas lines. When I called I wasnt exactly sure what was going to be needed or how long the job would take. The assigned plumber showed up as required on days needing plumbing work over a several week period. Other contractors in the house at the same time remarked on the excellence of his work. We were very satisfied with his work, his explanation of what was being done and why, and with the improved appearance and performance of the plumbing system.

Absolutely the best company! This company has a lot of knowledge and are super friendly! I was a bit apprehensive at first since I feel companies are always out to get you. Not this one. They are very honest and their work is good. The technician that came was very courteous. He thoroughly explained the problem and what needed to be done. He also gave me pointers on how I can maintain the ac unit myself. He showed me how to change filters and gave me recommendations. I highly recommend them!

Prompt and courteous professional staff, arrived on time and stayed late to install our new AC unit. Our AC unit stopped working on the hottest day of the summer, Nichols and Phipps had a technician out that evening to diagnose the problem, upon hearing the bad news that our outside unit had gone bad (which we knew was going to happen since it was the original unit installed when we first bought our home) they made adjustments to their schedule to have a new unit installed the very next morning, everything went smoothly and their lead salesman even followed up a few weeks after the installation to see if we needed any questions answered about out new AC unit,

When our AC quit, while we were out of town, they responded immediately to our request for help. They will do emergency repairs, if necessary. They fixed our unit the day after we called. Drew came when we were having problems with our well pump. It was a very difficult job and took a lot of work but he fixed it and its been working ever since. The price was good and he did the work fast. We were very pleased with everything.

I purchased a home in Oakton a couple of years ago that was built in the early 70s. One of the previous homeowners had that true Harry homeowner do it Do-it-yourselfer spirit. I have learned after my many years of experiences that we all should stay in our lanes and let the right people do the right job. My service breaker panel itself had a rats nest of wires & junction boxes hanging off the panel. I was constantly having overloaded breakers trip and had an overall scary situation when I had to reset one.I called Nichols & Phipps to come out and review my mess. Russell came out and after listening and taking time review my current set up he suggested that they perform a Heavy Up to a 200 amp service. My existing panel was a 150 amp service and had no more room for todays electrical requirements. My whole house generator panel needed to be cleaned up as well and he discovered that my gas lines & water lines in my home were not grounded and would like to bring everything up to code. I mentioned that I was installing a shed/ pool house in the near future and he suggested that we install a sub panel outside to provide service to whatever I might want to do. What a great Idea! He provided me a very reasonable price to perform the work and we scheduled a day for him to come back and perform all the work.When Russell returned he completed all the work in one day! WOW! and what a clean professional job he did.I am very pleased with the whole process and can say that they will be my service provider in the future.

Made the appointment. They told me a certain time. After the time was up I called them. They had completely forgotten about me. They arrived after the building manager left so they could never check the unit on the roof. I got charged over $200 because they cleaned a drain in the unit. Thats nice. Now I have to call someone else to check the unit. Horrible!!!!
