I gained a BUNCH of weight in quarantine (Im sure plenty of folks can relate) and needed a trainer to help kick-start the journey back into decent shape. Started working with Jake at RAP Fitness, and dropped 30 lbs in three months, saw a new personal best on the bench press, and activated muscles I didnt even know I had. Jakes an awesome trainer, and from what I can tell theres not a bad trainer in the group.

He was my first ever personal trainer and I know I could always go back to him if I’m back in town. Rap is always so helpful with ALL my questions no matter the time of day and a great communicator. He makes all new moves just challenging enough and will always check with you to be sure you’re doing fine all the time. The experience I’ve had with RAP Fitness has been nothing short of wonderful. Since starting my journey here I feel stronger, more confident and have toned up, all thanks to my awesome personal trainer Chris! Chris has taken into account my overall goals while tailoring to my needs during each individual session. He makes sure to ask how I am feeling and adjusts our workouts accordingly. He knows when to push me and makes sure I’m using proper form, which I appreciate as it prevents injury. Chris is patient, knowledgeable, flexible, kind and upbeat. He makes working out fun and enjoyable and I am so grateful for his guidance and support. Regardless of what mood I am in before walking into RAP Fitness, I always feel great walking out. The other trainers are friendly, the gym is clean and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and completely judgement free. The gym is filled with great guys who all are all very knowledgeable on personal fitness and are very easy to get along with; they do a great job of motivating you towards your goals but also pacing you to not burn yourself out. I worked mainly with Jake whom I had a great time working with and really helped push me towards my goals. Young or old, I believe RAP Fitness is a great place to train.

Some basketball teammates and I did a group workout session with Rap and his assistant Jake and they were both very informative and personable! They taught us the importance of core strength and stability and how to incorporate it into our daily lives. Workout was intense but Rap and Jake keep you motivated and help you push through! And they also have alternative exercises in case you’re unable to maintain proper form for an exercise. Would definitely recommend and come back for more workouts! 😄

Jake is the man! I got to work with for a few months before I moved away and I always looked forward to each session. His thought process and specifically made program fit exactly what I wanted And more importantly what I needed! He made sure I wasn’t skipping leg day, even when I wanted to and adjusted my program based on the type of training I enjoyed and worked around injuries to make sure I stayed healthy all while hitting my goals.He and the whole crew at RAP always made me feel welcome, heard and it was a genuinely good time training with them. Jake has a great repertoire of Guitar Hero songs, lines from TV shows and he knows a thing or two about getting you in shape!You won’t regret training with Jake. My first experience with RAP was for my consult and it was great. From just the consult alone I took with me helpful tips for working out that I still use to this day. Tips that taught me proper form/posture to avoid injury and create a better workout session. He was personable, professional and knowledgeable. Any time someone asks me if I know of a good trainer, I refer them to him. Hes an awesome trainer and all around awesome person.

RAP is truly an amazing trainer! I am from California and I have been virtually training with RAP for several week now. Even though it’s a virtual experience, RAP is able to completely individualize my training to my needs and wants, all while taking into consideration any previous injuries. I love that RAP is able to accommodate to equipment/materials I already have at home and is super attentive during sessions! RAP gives lots of feedback and models proper techniques and formation to not only get the best workout but to prevent any injuries as well. RAP makes every session challenging and fun at the same time! I never could’ve imagined sweating through virtual training!

A few years ago I was suffering of persisting and debilitating muscle tension and generalized pain.I decided to hire a personal trainer to help me get stronger, and healthier.Rap welcomed me with a smile and listened to my concerns, taught me how to warm up and stretch correctly, in a way that actually helped my muscles relax, and get better. He prepared exercise routines that challenged my weak body without overworking it. Needless to say, I got stronger and could control the pain.Rap shows a lot of knowledge, professionalism, respect and compassion in the way he treats his clients. But dont expect a boring screaming sergeant if you train with him. Hell make you work out till you sweat, will push you to give your 110%, but he will also make sure you have fun as you work to reach your goal.

Rap and his team are tremendous at what they do. Rap takes the time to know his client individually, understand our limitations and strengths, and then customizes a fitness plan to leverage both. I have some lingering injuries, Rap both work around them but also treated them at the same time. With a lot of trainers you get the feeling they just see you as a source of revenue, with Rap I never get that vibe, he genuinely seems to love what he does and he clearly takes personal pride in helping people realize their potential. Cant recommend him more strongly.

Rap and his team are amazing. I have been training with Rap on and off for several years now. I have multiple injuries and herniated discs and he helped me achieve my goal of a Spartan Race Trifecta without pain or injuring myself which is incredible. I am a physician and recommend him or anyone on his team to all of my patients as well. Unlike most trainers, he is creative and thinks outside of the box. I have now been doing virtual training and its great how much of a work out I can get with just simple things at home. He works on balancing your body and functional training first (like bad posture from sitting at a computer all day). This helps to minimize pain and reduce risk of injury.

The gym -- more like Hercules mythological gymnasium temple -- located conveniently between Orlando, Winter Park and Maitland, the perfect ménage à trois that all Orlandoans wish for. And then…the workout! The most energetic, fulfilling workout! The right amount of cardio, generous amount of stretching…a workout so muscle-swelling, butt-lifting, jaw-clenching, in a combination of sweet agony and utmost satisfaction. When I first started training with Rap almost a year ago I had very little experience working out and wanted to make sure I was doing things properly without injuring myself. My goal was to learn and build a little muscle. I definitely learned quite a bit, lost some fat, built muscle, and most importantly - created a platform to continue working out on my own. I definitely feel more confident in my abilities as well. Rap is friendly, attentive, and responsive throughout the workouts and definitely caters to each client. Would recommend to anyone!

I met Rap almost by accident when he quickly responded to an online request for a fitness trainer who would be willing to take on a 78 year old woman who had bilateral hip replacements. We worked together well because rap is outgoing and fun-loving. He is non-judgemental, observant, and above all knew exactly what would benefit me and what I could be capable of doing. He overcame my doubts with patience and persuasion. At every workout he continue to challenge me toward Improvement. We trained three times a week for over a year and I was very pleased with my progress.Rap continues his study of anatomy and muscular structure to further his understanding of how to use exercise weights and fitness machines to best serve his clients. He has organized his own company. He is personally interested in the well-being of every client whether they be athletes ballet dancers or old ladies. I was always hesitant to hire a personal trainer thinking that it wasnt worth the time or money. I am so glad to have been so incredibly wrong. Rap is an absolutely amazing trainer to work with. He tailors your workouts to your goals and is always mindful to customize any exercise to your needs and body. He makes it fun while motivating you to push and better yourself. Rap is an incredible trainer! I trained with him after recovering from a car accident that did damage to my lower back. He helped me strengthen the muscles around the injury to help prevent re-injury. I was also in the best shape of my life! Rap is professional, knowledgeable and kind but will push you to work hard and improve each time you’re with him. He knows how to work with clients with injuries to avoid aggravating the injury and to help prevent future injury. He’s also great if you’re just looking to become more fit overall and push yourself! I went to see Rap due to nagging lower back pain that prevented me from working out or playing golf. I was unable to hit golf balls for 30 minutes when I started and was able to play 3-4 times a week after a month. He tailored workouts to fit my needs and seemed to genuinely care about my progress and well being on off days. This has honestly been the best few months of my life training with Rap. He is everything you could possibly want from a personal trainer. Rap was an absolutely amazing trainer. After losing almost 50 lbs through dieting, I felt better about myself but still felt like I needed something more. I had almost no muscle mass and a lot of sagging skin. Rap came to the rescue. I never thought that I would be able to do planks or push ups or even a wall sit but Rap pushed me to go further. He made sure that I did my best every session and he made working out fun and not a chore. Definitely glad that I chose him!

RAP is really great! He knows so many different exercises and hes pushed me to try new things even when I was being stubborn. Hes dedicated to helping his clients achieve their goals. One of mine is building more muscle in my thighs and glutes but I struggle to find exercises that work for me. RAP is always creative in coming up with new things and I appreciate that. I was worried initially about being in a group session, but RAP does a good job of paying everyone attention and constantly checking in. Ive been using RAP for over a year now. Im more knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition and Ive been able to see results from the measurements and pictures he takes! I highly recommend him :D

I’ve trained with RAP for the last 4 years. Not only is he the nicest freaking guy you’ll ever meet but I have never worked with a trainer who is so genuinely invested in my well being not just as his client but as a person. He has the most unique training methods and not your ordinary cookie cutter routines you see people doing at the gym. He makes himself available to you at just about any time for any questions or concerns and He’s highly qualified in his knowledge of exercise physiology. He takes the time to explain the exercise, what muscle group it works. We fight like a married couple when he has me do exercises that I hate but know are good for me! Lol! I decided I needed a personal trainer in order to push me to live a healthier lifestyle, however I was kind of nervous about the money/how unfit I was to start. Rap was absolutely amazing though - he made me feel comfortable with his competence and sense of humor. I immediately knew I was in good hands. He emphasizes healthy lifestyle choices (healthy food, sleep, stress management, etc) on top of exercise and is always available via texting/calls to help you out with any questions you may have. He is equal parts trainer, friend, and psychologist! Prior to me meeting with Rap for a trial session, I felt as if I was one of the most knowledgeable people when it came to fitness. This was not the case as he opened my eyes to many different aspects of excercise I wasnt aware of. He taught me about corrective excercising as we rid my body of many muscle imbalances I developed from improper training. My boyfriend and I signed up for R.A.P.s couples training and it was customized to fit our opposite needs. I really liked Raps focus and positive energy, his different plans he prepared for us based on areas that needed attention, and his encouragement that drove me to push myself. He was really friendly and very professional. My sessions were full of variety which made it a blast working out and Im seeing great results! When I first started working with Rap, we sat down in talked about what I wanted to get out of our training sessions. He devised a regimen around my physical condition at that time and around my own physical limitations. Rap really worked to educate me about the importance with nutrition, rest, and hydration to see the changes I wanted to make. My goal was to lose 15 lbs in 4 months before my wedding. I actually lost over 20 lbs and added 5 lbs of muscle! Probably the attribute that I appreciate the most about Rap is his approach to training. He takes a preventative approach. I think this mindset is my favorite because it reduces the risk of injuries that could actually create setbacks and make it harder to reach the desired goals. I also like Raps demeanor during the workout. He has a calm tone and focus that instills confidence and encouragement in his clients to get through the workout. He isnt over the top to the point of annoyance. It is just the right amount of encouragement and knowing when to back off if your body isnt responding where he had anticipated. Rap sees the big picture; he approaches the workouts as a a slow and steady build toward the desired fitness goal. Not only am I a client of Raps, but I am a student and a friend. I would recommend him to anyone.

Training with Rebecca has been so much fun. Ive had many trainers in the past and I have never had the kind of progress that Ive had with Rebecca. She will adjust anything that you ask her to, and always checks to make sure youre doing okay and that nothing is hurting. Ive been training with Rebecca for 4 months and have already lost about 5% body fat, and that is with taking weeks off here and there due to circumstances such as the hurricane. Rebecca is not only my trainer, but has become someone very close to my heart. She always pushes me to do my best and get stronger every session. My longest plank has increased by almost 2 minutes since I started training with her, and my wall sit has increased by 2 and a half minutes. I used to do certain exercises with no added weight, and now Im doing glute bridges with 35 pounds on top of me. Every time we have a session I laugh so much, it doesnt even feel like work. If you want a trainer who is going to help you reach your goals as well as make it fun while doing it, train with Rebecca!
