I called over a week and a half ago to set up an appointment for today (July 7th) as a potential new client. The girl who answered said someone would call me back. No one ever called me back. I understand taking new clients can be stressful, but it’s extremely rude. Bombshell down the street has no issues with this. The only reason I was even going to try vintage sky was because the girl I was seeing at bombshell didn’t have availability I needed for today (July 7th) and because this salon used oplex which I use. Needless to say if they can’t even call you back to set up an appointment, I can only imagine how the service would be. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Was visiting in winter garden and needed a quick touch up appointment. Araena was able to see me in a couple days and was great! Super friendly and I came out looking like a bombshell.

Ashley Nicole gave me possibly the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. I have super long thick hair and it lays so flat. She put in lots of layers and it just looks amazing. I got it cut by her a couple of months ago and it still looks amazing so I felt compelled to share. Also, salon is lovely, clean, and the staff is friendly!

Me and my daughter had an appointment with Areana today and I cannot praise her enough! I am quite picky about my hair (color and cut). She took the time to discuss options with me and truly seemed to have an interest in what I wanted. She was very professional and genuine. Me and my daughter both left the salon today feeling very satisfied! I would highly recommend this salon and Areana!!

This place is adorable. It’s in a great location and the studio itself is clean and chic. I called in for an appointment on Saturday and was in a chair Monday evening. My stylist was Kathy and she was great! She listened to what I wanted and gave me a cut and style I’m so beyond happy with. I’ll definitely be back and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a change.

I called to ask a question and the receptionist was mad rude; Yelling and saying “what” that’s unprofessional and I felt like she didn’t want to be there. Next time I’ll just hang up lmfao like who are you yelling out.

Broke a nail. I called the salon and got an appointment on the same day. Milenia ( I know I misspelled her name) fixed it like magic. Highly recommend her. Everyone was very nice and professional.

I had a bad experience with getting an eyebrow wax, because I am breastfeeding, and my skin is more sensitive than usual. It did turn out uneven, because of the room not being well lit. It was the darkest room that I have ever received a wax in. Yes, there is a light with the magnifying mirror, but I dont think that it is enough. The darker room creates a better ambiance but I blame it for my uneven service. Paula has been more than gracious and very understanding throughout the bad experience. The stylist who serviced me was very friendly and is someone that I would have wanted to do my hair.

If youre picky, like me, getting your hair done is as personal as going to the ob/gyn or the dentist. Being new to the area and having to select a new stylist can be uncomfortable and daunting. I spent a good bit of time reading reviews and decided, based on my research, to give Vintage Sky a try. When I called, the receptionist was friendly and helpful. She recommend a stylist based on our conversation, indicated this particular stylist was busy and could she have the stylist call me back (in about 10 minutes) to make arrangements. I agreed as I would have an opportunity to get a feel for this person I was about to entrust with the only head of hair I have! Needless to say that was three days ago and I havent heard a peep! No missed calls, nothing. Resuming my research, I noticed (with the exception of the review I am about to post) all the excellent reviews of this salon are from anonymous google users. Im glad she didnt call back!

I absolutely love going to Vintage Sky Salon! I have been going to Kaitlyn De Clercq Zubli for over two years now and I would follow her anywhere -- if at anytime she chose to leave this amazing salon. The atmosphere is welcoming, all of the employees show compassion and devotion to their clients, and the pricing is very reasonable for such high quality results. I always leave Kaits chair feeling like my best possible self after every cut and color. She is VERY skilled at what she does and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an accommodating, seasoned stylist. I definitely recommend giving Kait and/or this salon a shot!

I had been going to this salon when it was called Natasha Lees (so a very long time) and have always had Paula (now the owner) cut my hair. I had always had good service, and a decent hair cut and color. Sometimes my color and/or cut werent exactly what I wanted but then others it was perfect, kind of like a roller coaster. There were a few times that were really bad and Paula fixed it within a few days (some times free of charge, some times not). Do NOT expect to get any sort of consistent pricing, it would change every time I went it (very frustrating!!!!!). When Paula went on maternity leave about a year ago she recommended that I see her best friend Jenny who sits directly next to her. I have spoke with Jenny before and thought she was very sweet so I did go to Jenny the day before we were to leave on vacation to get full highlights, cut, and style. The next day my husband yells to me what is wrong with your hair?!?!?, I had no idea what he was talking about and he told me that there was a HUGE chunk missing out of the back of my hair. I thought he was crazy at first, or maybe it was just the way my hair was falling that day. So i went into the bathroom and straightened it really well to see what was going on. Sure enough, there was a huge chunk missing! I immediately called and texted Jenny and she said she could fix it when I got back from vacation. I go in for her to fix it and she does a dry cut to try and fix it. It looked exactly the same. She denied there was anything wrong with my hair and told me it was due to the thickness of my hair. She said I could come back another day when she had enough time to do a wet cut so I did. When I came back in she said there was nothing she could do to fix the issue because she saw nothing wrong with my hair. I asked for a refund and she said that was not possible because it had already been 2 weeks since I had my hair done (because I was on vacation!). We started to get into a heated argument in front of one of her other clients and another hair stylist proceeded to come over to calm us down. She said she could see what I was seeing that appeared to be a chunk missing and said she could fix it free of charge (I just wanted my hair fixed!). She needed to cut 3 INCHES OFF in order to fix the issue!!!! That was it for me. I texted Paula to tell her I would not be returning to her salon when she came back from maternity leave and she replied back ok. Im sorry, but that is not what you should be saying to a client that you have had from the beginning. 0 customer service what so ever. I understand Jenny is your BFF and you will more than likely always side with her over a client, but you are a business owner now Paula, client satisfaction should be your TOP priority.
