We were searching for a high-end carpet and I had a wonderful experience. Daniel took the time to show us all available options and came to our home to measure. He was friendly, informative, professional and great to work with. The delivery team showed up exactly on schedule and the carpet looks fabulous!

Thomas the sales man was very friendly and knew his stuff when selling us the carpet. The color and material we picked is just what we wanted to furnish our upstairs part of our house. The install was fairly quick and the three installers were efficient.

This is one of the best flooring stores I have ever been in. It has everything you could ask for. We purchased a carpet remnant and had it bound for a rug and it turned out beautifully. The customer service was excellent.

We have dogs and need a floor that can withstand a lot of wear and tear. Our COREtec Luxury Vinyl Plank looks great, does not scratch, and is easy to clean. The Installation was very professional. We a very pleased.

I had looked for almost two years for a runner for the foyer in our new home. I went to Carpet One By Henry and looked at the many carpet samples and bought a beautiful Karastan rug for our living room and picked a complimentary rug to have a runner cut for the foyer. A few weeks ago Carpet One By Henry, (Winston Salem ) replaced all of the carpet and flooring in our home and we could not be more pleased ! Our experience with them was very positive from beginning to end. Our salesperson was Kelly and she was SOOO helpful and had the patience of a Saint considering I just could not make up my mind and made quite a few phone calls to her as well as many trips to the store to bring home more carpet and flooring samples. Thank you again Kelly Brown for all of your help! I also had the opportunity to get to know other employees if I happened to stop by the store on a day Kelly was off, and they too were great and very helpful. I also have to mention their installers. We had a total of 5 of them working at different times in our home and they were all very pleasant, hard workers who knew what they were doing . I would highly recommend Carpet One by Henry.

We had our masterbath redone with new tile and new tub. Ryan was so much help with tile choices. Work was perfect from start to finish and it is absolutely gorgeous. Very professional.

I was looking for an area rug for my den. Kelly showed me an assortment of options in the showroom that could be custom ordered and then the hanging rugs in the remnant building. She was very helpful and placed one on hold by telephone when I decided. I was able to take it home on approval to make sure it was perfect and call back to pay. So nice to do business with people who make it so easy.

Great experience with Laurie (designer) and other staff in renovating our basement with new carpet and vinyl. Laurie came to our house with samples and helped us with the process in such a personal way. Installers were professional and did a great job! The customer service is not something you’d experience with big box store and prices comparable! Would highly recommend!

My purchase process was smooth but I was very disappointed about the installation. 1. Installation started more than a half day late so the installers left materials all over my home overnight, exposed nails and all. 2. The installers did not wear mask. 3. During installation Pepsi cans were left out and sweatshirt and jackets thrown over our beds instead of being left in their van. 4. After doing the stairs it was dust all over the walls, kitchen floor and tables and not cleaned . 5. Furniture was not return how it was found. I am so glad it over.

I had an excellent experience with Carpet One by Henry!! I called and spoke to Laurie on the phone who was a store designer. She was very informative and offered to come to my house for a consult. She asked what my home style was and brought samples that she thought I would like. After she understood my style, she helped me find a carpet I LOVED for my stair runner on the budget I wanted to stick with! The runner was installed today and I am extremely happy. Laurie also offered to make additional items with any remnants I had. She is actively helping me with that request as well. Laurie was very responsive via phone call and text. We had a wonderful experience with both our salesperson Kelly and Roman and his installation crew. After postponing the installation several weeks due to the pandemic, Kevin was very patient and understanding as he kept in touch with us to schedule the installation as soon as we were ready and comfortable. The crew were professional, kind and fast! They moved furniture with care and respect. I look forward to doing other carpet projects soon. I’ll be back to Carpet One to find a remnant for the staircase and office.

We bought a remnant to finish as an area rug to accent cover new flooring in our living room. Carpet one reworked a mill flaw in the carpet that we and the store people had not discovered prior to delivery. They picked up the rug, corrected the flaw, delivered the area rug and rebated a part of the payment within two business days to our total satisfaction.Sometimes things do go wrong, but Ryan and his staff handled the problem professionally, friendly, and quickly. They certainly passed a character test and I would recommend them to any consumer.

Best carpet buying experience we have had. Comparing to Lowe’s home Improvement we had friendly, informative service via Kelly as soon as we walked in the store. We had discussed the plan for the room, measurements and installation via email promptly and scheduled a visit within a week. 2 weeks later we had carpet and the results were magnificent.This is how buying flooring should be!

Your staff handled our carpet repair very efficiently, from estimate to completing the job. Everyone we dealt with, on the phone or in person, was very professional. We definitely will reach out to Carpet One for flooring needs in the future!

As with all services during the Covid era, factory delivery was tentative and delayed. Once a factory delivery schedule was confirmed, Carpet One by Henry did keep their scheduled installation date. Installation went smoothly and was completed in one day for a total house re-work.

Our church worked with Carpet One by Henry (Laurie Newcomb) on the selection of a rug for our church parlor and the cutting and binding of a remnant piece into rugs. They had a great selection of carpets and flooring and were knowledgeable of the different types of flooring. The installers did a great job on the installation. We were pleased with the service and staff.

Sounds like mostly good reviews so not sure what happened with our experience. We dealt with a woman named Laura. She had a bit of an attitude on the initial phone call but we decided to give benefit of the doubt and have her out to measure and give estimate. She was 30 minutes late, no call. Was about to call HER to reschedule when she arrived. Explained I would have less time as I had to go to work soon, as our appt was for 12. She replied, No I said 1230 I actually had to show her the text she sent confirming 12. She then said she didnt have my number anyway . She came in to measure. Then told me she will give estimate when I send her my other estimates. My husband said no. JustGive us your estimate and we will decide. She advised she would text the estimate. Never heard from her again. So just be careful and avoid Laura if possible..

My designer recommended Carpet One by Henry..She was so right! I found an excellent selection of the cork backed vinyl in a smooth finish that looked like tile for my kitchen. Thomas came to the house for the initial quote estimate and ordering of material quantity. He kept me updated on delivery time and work scheduling.A large crew came to the house to plan execution of the work taking into consideration leveling the floor of a 40 yr old ranch house, permanent placement of a large granite topped island that had been on castors, and matching the shoe moldings of the blue island and wood stained cabinets. A moisture barrier was used as standard installation practice with my material. The subfloor was even shored up to eliminate old squeaks.The crew of Jake and Brooks were was very respectful and courteous. They wore masks and protected other areas of the house from dust and debris. The floor did not require as extensive leveling as they thought it might so my bill was adjusted to reflect what was required.In summary, it was a pleasant experience. I trust Carpet One to do the job well, and honestly. I love my new floor! Ann Raines

We had a great stair-runner experience at Carpet One by Henry. Since the stairs in our foyer are wide, we couldnt buy a premade runner but needed to have one custom-made. I was nervous about the prospect, assuming it would cost a fortune and worried that I would be pressured into choosing something more formal than the fun, casual vibe we wanted. Daniel put me at ease right away; his knowledge and expertise were helpful and his patience deserves a medal. We werent in a hurry so it was ok that it took quite a long time to actually make the runner (and we were told that it would take longer than usual due to a holiday rush of stair-runner requests). Installation was speedy and expertly done. Our stairs now look better than we ever imagined!

Great experience from start to finish!I went to Carpet One looking for area rugs based on a referral from a friend. The staff was friendly and helpful and spent several hours with me going over different options. I settled on three different rugs and couldnt be happier with the quality and design. In addition to the store staff, the delivery men were prompt and professional, and I was especially impressed with the care they took with my furniture and belongs as they moved them to install the rugs. I have already recommended Carpet One By Henry to a colleague.

There were a few glitches with the demo of the old floor and the timeline; however, Grady came out to ensure everything was completed beautifully. We appreciate the follow up and follow thru. I had heard so many wonderful things about Carpet One by Henry, so I decided to use them for my rental property to replace the hardwood floors after some water damage had happened. Things didn’t go as seamless as I had hoped because after thinking we could take up the old hardwood and realizing we couldn’t we had to add that on them at the last minute. Which in return made some communication difficult on both sides but honestly they handled it so professionally and went over and beyond to make sure we were satisfied customers in the end.We learned a lot during the process LIKE let them handle the whole job upfront! 😂. We are in the beginning stages of building a house and will def. use them for our floors in our home when the time comes. We had Kelly for a salesperson, we also had communications with Grady, and Teresa... all were amazing to deal with.

Great store with terrific staff. Cynthia came to measure and talked me through various options for the luxury vinyl tile. Installation crew showed up on time and was completely done in half a day. I would highly recommend these professionals.

Just moved to Winston-Salem for a new job at Wake Forest University. Me and My wife were looking to re-carpet the house we just bought and thought we would try Carpet One. When we went the saleswoman was courteous and offered to send us an estimate and the after the house was measured she would be able to send a quote that day. As we were leaving we realized she didnt even take any contact info from us and my wife went back inside and gave her my email address.We never got the estimate and at least the person who measured the house was on time and did his task quickly and was personable.We waited until Friday and my wife called back that we hadnt gotten our quote, an employee said someone would call us back by the end of business that day which did not happen. We left another message Saturday to which three separate employees called us back because the store was closed to to an event downtown. The last one was our saleswoman who left a message blaming the person who measured for promising a same day quote when it was her.Finally she sent a quote Monday but it was doing the whole house in the more expensive carpet that we had picked for the upstairs, and she just had a note with the name of the other one. I called her to inquire why the quote was solely based off the one type of carpet and she said it was the program they use. She reluctantly redid the quote which lowered it by 700 dollars when she added the other carpet but I noticed the overall sqft used in the estimate went up . Tired of playing games back and forth I emailed that I would be going with another company, and I wouldnt recommend this company to any of my colleges at Wake.

HORRIBLE Experience!The flooring I chose and PAID for was SOLD to SOMEONE ELSE!!!I confirmed my order 2 times and was assured everything was on schedule and in stock. Based on this, I scheduled the installation. When I called to confirm pick-up in two (2) days, I was finally told the truth: MY ORDER HAD BEEN SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE. And, I was told that the flooring I chose was not available at the warehouse. The next available would be in six (6) weeks when my style was scheduled to be manufactured. I am so disappointed. Sometimes it doesnt pay to shop local. The big box stores tend to provide better service and follow-up than this SNOBBY little shop on Burke Street.
