I must have got the wrong counselor. Took him 4 years to get a job emptying trash, and called me once a year😟

Mr. John Calhoun and Mrs. Shanata McMillian-Shepard are truly the last of a dying breed. They’ve helped and stood with me from day 1, and made sure I didn’t lose self confidence.

Love their assistance and I have the best job counselor in the building, his name is John Calhoun at extension 209 ( he truly cares )

If you need help furthering your education or job skills I would recommend looking them up

Their service is great. The counselors are amazing and they help you with everything you need to be successful in life.

They didnt do much for me at all. I have a College degree, I am bilingual and have a fair amount of experience working with non-for-profit organizations in the area. Still, the best they could do for me is to find me a part time job rolling silverware in a local restaurant. That is all. They got me a menial job, despite my education and experience, and they think they are doing their job. Sad

Sometimes working with organizations that are government funded you come around very rude individuals that think they can speak to you any kind of way. or that just have no or very poor customer service skills. was just told about this agency and decided to give them a call. spoke with a rep named Renee Caesar. and I must say that Ms.Caesar was a complete delight to speak with. she was very knowledgeable of the services provided. and she even helped with a special request. hopefully everyone will be as gracious as Ms. Caesar was during my dealing with the company. but because of her Im looking forward to upcoming endeavors.

Best place to get a fresh start if u have a disability

Had to drive to get medical records because everything seemed to be crawling. No word from them. Brought the records into them. Was told I would get a call for a followup appointment in a few days. That was two weeks ago and NOTHING. Well months are going by and still NOTHING from them. My counselor seems to have a helper or something of that nature and they do not follow up with you at all. DO NOT HOLD YOUR BREATH WAITING for these folks. I plan on submitting a complaint very soon. Will update post later.

John Calhoun has been outstanding. Has worked with me for several years until I found a job. Miss talking to him.

Vocational Rehabilitation center got me started. But really it was up to me to keep going. It really helps.

C. Hallums is the best Social Worker VR has. Otherwise, Ive been treated poorly until she got my case. No wonder $$ has been mis-used by so many! I was referred b/c I truly needed services and all that has happened is that I was lied to over & over!
