The ladies of American Nails were wonderful today. I have recently had knee replacement surgery so flexibility is an issue. I had both a pedicure and gel manicure done today, I was treated with care and professionalism.I will definitely be going back.

Worth it! I got a pedicure young lady was very nice, outgoing & very professional the nail salon I had went to before was not professional & they was rushing me, this lady took her time I highly recommend going here!

Fabulous job done on Gel pedicure every time 💕. Quality products, the foot baths always smells pleasant and alluring, friendly service!!

PLEASE READ!!!!!So I went there and asked how much the acrylic nails were and they said 30. So I scheduled an appointment and when they finished the nails they charged me 60 doors. And I said to them you said 30 yesterday. And theyre like no its 60. I didnt add anything I got basic nails. 5 days after my nails got done they chipped and started falling off. My nails were bleeding and took a month for my natural nails to heal. I wouldnt recommend going to this place.

I came here to get my acrylic nails filled in. They didn’t have a great color selection for regular polish. The nail technician cut me on my index finger with the file and it’s been hurting and bleeding for the past couple of days. The nail technician was really nice though. Not the best nail set I’ve had, quite a few bubbles and imperfections. I wouldn’t recommend and I don’t think I’ll be coming here again.Edit: Nails chipped after 5 days. I will NOT be coming here again. Reduced to one star. Spend your money somewhere more worthwhile.

Great place for a pedicure! I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the salon was able to get me in for a pedicure pretty quickly. I didnt have time to also get a manicure but will definitely be making an appointment for one soon! Friendly staff, attention to detail and great prices.

This place was not worth my time or money. My nails looked like they were painted by a child and werent really shaped. I have shorter nails, but I still wanted them shaped a bit. It also only took about 25-30 minutes for the whole process which seemed too quick. I wasnt given the time and attention I deserved.Additionally, their credit card reader wasnt working. They didnt tell me this until it was time to pay. I had to go to the Lowes in the complex to buy something and ask for cash back. I wasnt directly told to go get cash, but the vibe was Why dont you go buy something and get cash to pay us?I wont be going back.

Called ahead and specifically asked for CND Shellac manicure and it was on the google search. Get there and they do not have the brand. Then she proceeds to argue with me that all gel requires scrapping to remove the polish. I specifically wanted to try CND Shellac for this reason. The CND website even has a how to video that explicitly states scrapping of the nail is not required.

My experience every time is amazing!! From nails to pedicure to facial and eyebrow waxing...it is always long lasting and professionally done. All the girls are professional and make you feel beautiful! The owner-Julie, is constantly learning new techniques for nails and facials. I cannot compliment this salon enough!!

I love to take my daughter here. It is a beautiful time of self-care and healing for both of us. We love the nail technicians at American Nails and always have fun and enlightening conversations with them as well as relax fully. I highly recommend making an appointment.

I was very disappointed. From the moment we walked through the door, not very friendly at all. Not very informative and gave us short answers as if she was bothered by us being there. In the beginning we was told they only had time to do one of us (there was 6 total) and that part is understandable being we did not book in advance. After time passed another nail tech said she could do my daughters nails and the main nail tech told her NO.... my overall experience was full of disappointment and myself and my daughters will go elsewhere.

I have been coming to American Nails for years. I moved from Winston Salem to New Bern. I make it a point to drive 3 1/2 hours to get a pedi done for I trust this professional salon. Received nothing but the most curiosity response; greeting me with warm welcoming smiles !

Been going to Julie for several years. Clean store, courteous service. And my nails always look perfect. What more could I ask for?

Made an appointment for full set of acrylic nails. The staff were very busy and a different man, Andy did my nails. He was careless, rushed, messy and my nails looked awful afterwards. He cut my cuticles on two fingers and left glue and mess all over my fingers and my hands. He also applied the acrylic powder in one thick layer. I have never experienced this before. The manicure lasted a week before it began to peel and lift.

The water for my pedicure was lukewarm at best. There is nail polish around my toes that she didn’t clean. They charge $1 for a nail file they force you to take home (not complaining about a dollar, but no need to force it on me).. Lots of talking and not a relaxing atmosphere.

I had gel polish put on bc it’s supposed to dry quick . One big toe has lumps and the other is wiped off 😢😭 I could’ve kept my 45$

A little more expensive that most nail salons but great work

Not satisfied with nail work. 3 days after having my nails done, I had to come back to fix a broken one. This is an inconvenience.

My nail polish chip really bad within 2 days....ok so When I arrived the Chinese lady at the front just said she will get you and pointed at the only black lady, I felt she put me on her because she and another lady did not have a client (yes I am black) .Then she repeatedly ask me if I had both gel nails & gel nail polish I told her twice I did have both. Then they still used that watered down polish. I only went her because a parent gave me a gift certificate .I been going to Special Nails for over 7 years and my gel never chip. The gel she took off was 3weeks old and not chiped. Bad experience her at American Nails Spa all together.

Went there to get my nails done. My nails polish got chipping within 2-3 days. Never come back here again
