I had an appointment for 3.30 and arrived early. Wasnt seen until applying pressure an hour later. I wish I could say this was due to covid or a one off but its always this way. Im finally switching, its unfortunate that this has to be done in the middle of my daughters braces plan but at this point it doesnt seem to be able to be helped. Trust me this isnt a bitter or angry post, unless you have oodles of free time to wait, this isnt the dentist for your children. They incentive these post, thats why there are so many pleasant reviews. Youve been warned.

I love all of the staff here. They were wonderful with my 6 and 10 year old.My 6 year old is quite a character and they did not mind at all. They were joking with him. It felt so nice to be surrounded by warm, friendly, positive hygienist, dentist and staff.It is so important for children to have a positive experience at the dentist. We already have our next appointment scheduled. I would highly highly recommend this practice.

Triad Kids Dental is a great, my son loves it there. Fantasia is awesome in how she took such great care of my son, very patient, informative and thorough. The office is great, they have many helpful members to make things go quick and easy. From start to finish it’s always an enjoyable experience which is saying a lot about a visit to the dentist. The atmosphere is fun and clean with comical posters on the wall that kids get a kick out of. They are efficient with the appointments as well which is a huge plus especially for the kids, in and out easy.

The new office is awesome and huge! The new doctors are so great with the kids and parents! Best dentist weve ever gotten for the kids! My kids actually love going to the dentist now and we had a horrible experience at our previous dentist. The staff here has turned that around for us.

My 3 year old had the best experience and is really excited to go back and get his teeth cleaned again. They were kind and very aware of his emotional wellbeing which is all I can ask for.

We love taking our son to this location! Everyone is super friendly, always helpful, and always gentle with our 5 year old. He is always a little nervous when going to the doctors or dentist, but once he’s there, he gets comfortable and ready to listen. I would recommend this location to any parents.

Miss Izzy and Dr. Orr made my daughter’s first visit a breeze! Izzy was very welcoming and spoke to my daughter about her interests the entire time to distract her from her nerves. When Dr. Orr stepped in, she was very knowledgeable and explained everything in an easy way to understand fir parents. We will definitely be returning!

They very polite, professional and efficient. A pleasant atmosphere. I was very pleased how the staff communicates with the parents and engage with the kids.

Worse place ever they lied about work that was not done and charged Medicaid. They had someone else’s xray and tried to say it was my daughter’s. They lied they put white filing when they don’t even do white filings they only do silver and they fraudulently charged Medicaid for service not done. I will be reporting the to Medicaid fraud . Please be careful and review your child’s records because I’m sure they are doing it to everyone that goes there. Stay away they are fraud. I wouldn’t give them any stars but have to just to give the review.

I never leave reviews but felt compelled to do so because I just love this dentist office! Very easy visit with a toddler and everyone is very kind. My son loves the balloon he gets at the end!

This is the only pediatric dentist we have been to that had individual rooms. Our son had a really tough time going to the practices that have everyone in one large room. Hearing other kids upset was traumatizing for him. This practice also had the friendliest staff. The kids loved them all. Our son and daughter (first dentist visit!) were so happy. This will definitely be our permanent dentist for the kids. I cant recommend enough!

We had our first visit last week with this practice. They were very clear about being behind when we arrived and offered for us to reschedule or stay. We waited it out. I had my eight year old, six year old, and six month old all with me. We were socially distanced and much as possible. The staff was kind, friendly, and tried to keep us up to date on when we would be seen. We may have been there a while, but all and all it was great! We definitely plan to come back!

My daughter had to have a procedure and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable with what will be happening and what to expect. Cost was explained well in advance and reasonably allowed us to schedule procedures when we needed. Excellent dentists and office staff!

My son has had very bad experiences elsewhere and Triad Kids has made sure to make him feel safe and comfortable at the dentist. My son looks forward to his prizes and the nice staff from start to finish.

Had a great first visit with this dental company. My kids are 3 and 6 and we have been trying to find a good pediatric dentist. We live in a very rural area so I knew I would have to travel a distance to find a dentist and they are very accommodating. I got lost trying to find the place and called them and they helped with locating the office. Very helpful staff and very good with kids.

I’ve been taking my two kids here for a couple years now and I’ve always been impressed about how welcoming this location feels.My kids look forward to going to the Dentist. The staff is amazing! The dental assistants are always so nice and so patient with both my kids. The Doctors are very informative and make you understand exactly what is going on step by step with procedures. Wait times are non existent because they get you in right away. Leaving is always exciting for the kids because they get to pick out their ballon and prize! I will continue to bring my kids to this location even though I drive 1hr to get there, it’s well worth it! Thank you staff and Doctors for always being amazing to my kids!

Staff was friendly. Very clean environment and kid friendly. Consultation was fairly quick but informative. Doctor answered all questions with a great level of transparency and addressed all concerns.

While there were many patients waiting, there was safe social distancing options, and the wait time was acceptable. The hygienist and dentist were very efficient, and worked amazingly with my nervous 3 year old. Thank you!

I have two sons that are patients of TKD-Winston Salem. But this appointment was for my oldest at the Orthodontist and it was our second visit. Customer service is always above and beyond for our family. Great care when it comes to patients. The entire medical team and staff are excellent.

It was both of my children first time to a dentist. They are 5 & 2. My 5 yr old was anxious but the whole team at Triad was Aaaamazing. They made them at ease and everyone left happy. I would highly recommend.

After residing in Winston-Salem for 2 years, a friend of mine referred me to Smile Starters which my children attended for a yr & 1/2. I was never comfortable with that place. From the appearance of it to the services rendered. I did my own research b/c I wanted my children to attend a more up to date dental office where it looked more so kid friendly, clean, neat & organized.... where the parent is actually allowed to go back with the child during all procedures which at Smile Starters, the parent couldn’t. The Dentist here at Triad Kids Dental were so kind, friendly and seemed to be interested in the well being of my children’s dental health. The dental assistants were great as well! Very nice and sociable with myself and my children. My children loves this place after one visit. My son says: Mom, that place is cool! They have tv’s on the ceiling to keep the child occupied while having their teeth examined/cleaned. The staff is great! We’re so glad to have found a dental family that’s close to what we’re use to from back home in a different state. I definitely recommend this place!

I am so glad I found Triad Kids Dental for my kids. The staff is very friendly and easy to talk to or reschedule appointments. My kids have had great experiences with them. And now they have Triad Kids Orthodontist there too. I was so happy when that happened because we only have to go to one place instead of two since my daughter has gotten braces. I would highly recommend this Dentistry.

They are so great with children who already have a fear of doctor offices. They are very comforting and allowed my baby to ask any questions. I also appreciate the fact that they actually tell you what your best option is and not just try to get a dollar.

He was very patient with my kids, and made sure us as parents understood everything we were told. Im very thankful for a place that can give my kids a pleasant experience, so they will continue going, willingly.

Not happy at all with the consumer service today, because my child and I check in at the front desk were I will also point out that there were more than 10 people in the waiting area. She ask me to fill out the paperwork an have a seat. Well next a woman walks in with her child to sign in and the desk lady says we have another waiting room that you can use! Well why was I not offered the same thing. Plus to add to the problem its now 25 minutes after my appointment and were still waiting. They are not my favorite in the middle of this covid-19. Okay update 2 hours later I can now go on to other business. Note they are reusing eye wear and not cleaning them at all, but they do have one bottle of cleaning spray and wipes that their all using on the chairs.

Very UPSET. Wish I could leave 0 stars.I came here today with my son for his first dentist appointment. Nobody was taking temps at the door. I sat down away from the people already in the waiting room to fill out new patient paperwork. As I sat there more and more people flooded in. Nobody taking temps or asking any questions about Covid exposures. When my count got to a total of 14 people in the waiting room, I let the lady at the desk know we were leaving. I told her I did not expect this many people to be crowded in the waiting room and didn’t know why nobody was taking temps at the door like our pediatric office does ( we also do not wait in a waiting room there, nor do they over schedule so check-in isn’t flooded and not able to distance) She told me “that’s why we do the pre-screening paper work and then come out and take temps”. I explained that does no good because we are all already in here together and that is too late. I left. Will not be returning. Also want to note that nobody cleaned the chair I sat in/ or that others sat in after they left and more people who came in behind me sat in my chair as I left. I am so upset by this. I never leave reviews but other parents should be warned.. this is not safe measures for a pandemic.

I really do like this company my kids have been going here for years. But on my last visit it was a little disappointing the customer service well lets just say the waiting room was over crowded and secondly I notice they were cleaning the chairs and the equipment, but i noticed they were not cleaning the eyeglasses in between patients.

My two oldest went for the first time yesterday, they were so anxious about going because they have had traumatic experiences at other dentists. Barbara was so sweet and talked to them and was so patient. We left there and they were both talking about how they couldn’t wait to go back for another cleaning! My children have been coming to this dentist since they opened a couple years ago. They were very nice and kid friendly when the office first opened up. Over time no one seems kid friendly for this to be children’s dentist (only the actual dentist) the staff will have you wait and not tell you what’s going on the wait has gotten to an hour to hour and a half I’m very unpleased! Please bring back the old staff!

Most of my experiences these past two years have been good. Most of the staff is nice, but not incredibly friendly, although we have had a couple of hygienists who have been fantastic. The dentists have not been memorable. Most recently, my sons chart was never given to the assistants. Thirty minutes after his scheduled appointment, he still hadnt been called back, so I asked the ladies at the front desk if he had been forgotten. After a minute or so, her response was theyll be with you shortly. Upon taking my seat, I saw the other lady write my sons name on a chart and hand it to an assistant who she spoke quietly with. That assistant then called my son. We NEVER received an apology for being forgotten. In addition to my 9yo son who was to be seen, I also had my 4 and 5 yo children with me, who, after 30 minutes of playing in the waiting area, were NOT happy to be sitting in the back. My son had xrays, a cleaning, and a routine checkup by a dentist, and we were there for almost 2 and a half hours! No apologies...

I just got my braces on yesterday, i thank Triad Orthodontics for giving me the chance. Although, my mouth is sore which is normal, im so ready to start this experience!

In the waiting room there are plenty of toys and TVs to keep your little ones entertained while waiting, however they have always been very quick to call us back to a room. The staff are all extremely friendly and gentle. My 3 year old is always excited to go to the dentist!

I was and still am please with Triad Kids Dental. The last visit was a major disappointment. Front desk staff is always very friendly, the challenge will be the assistant that will take you to the back. Today I visited the office twice. The same assistant that assisted child was extremely rude and disrespectful, enough to never come back. The consistency of friendliness and acknowledgement of parents being there is fading. Communications coming to the back staff from front desk staff needs to be better Addressed. (Kept professional) other than

I have been bringing my 8 year old and 18 month old here for the past year and we love it! The waiting room always has a kids movie playing, there are arcade and video games, and a small play place! The front office staff are friendly and efficient andthe dental staff are phenomenal with the kids. We love Triad Kids!

I could not be any happier with the staff and service Triad Kids provides for my 6 children! When we moved to Winston Salem from Maryland and we started at Smile Starters & my youngest who is 6 was traumatized by what they did to my baby! I immediately changed to Triad Kids because I do not know what they did to my baby! After our 3rd visit with Triad Kids my baby has been so calm and relaxed and they are able to give her the proper care she needs now! I am very pleased with Triad kids and their Doctors & Staff!

Great place with wonderful staff! Very clean! They got us in and out extremely fast. When I asked about my youngest son (he’s 2) and when they start taking patients they said “right away is perfect, actually let’s get him in now so they can be on same schedule if that works for you mom”. Totally unexpected that answer, but it was great! I really appreciate everyone there! Most certainly recommend this place!!
