Kind and caring staff. Comfortable atmosphere and great customer service!!
Great all the way around!! From my routine cleanings to getting a tooth rebuilt with a crown I know I get GREAT care from Dr. Oliver and his entire staff, especially my hygienist Brandi. I drive across 3 counties to see them, who knows how many dentists I pass to get there but its worth it!
Poor communication through and through, Unprofessional. My appointment was made for 8am 9/11, they send numerous texts and automated reminders noting to arrive 15mins early. They dont even unlock the door till 8am. So I already was fed up.Im then brought to the counter to check-in, take a pic and fill out forms. As they hand me the forms, Im brought back to an examination chair in the middle of filling out my paperwork. I try to finish my forms, the tech asks me to put them to the side, so she can do X-rays. She finishes, I go back to the forms, then the Dentist comes in and berates me for not filling out information as she reviews it, when Ive had to explain to her 3 times, I didnt get to finish. So questionnaire done and filled out by the dentist, they shift me over to get x-rays by the hygienist who does a great job! I get a cleaning by the hygienist and an explanation on my x-rays from my Dentist. I just came in for one tooth extraction, but wisdom teeth are a concern. So I feel confident in their advice to have them all removed.I actually begin to feel good about this Dental office and ignore issues from earlier. On my wrap-up, Im told they will forward my referral and ASKED ME do I want the Oral Surgeon to do a consultation, to also talk about a filler tooth to prevent top teeth from growing down, not explaining this OUTSIDE group has a $240 fee for consultations. I agreed, went to the front and was only given a receipt of what services I had received and told if anything my insurance doesnt cover theyll bill and to have a good day.I wait weeks with no phone call from the Oral Surgeon, assuming that covid has slowed appointments and called JM Oliver Office on 10/7. The staff member on the phone tells me, that they DO NOT give clients receipts and it was MY duty to reach out to the oral surgeon. But she can email my referral to the oral surgeon. I was never given any documentation to take or even a CONTACT for this referral. The staff member emails my info and I asked for a copy to my personal email. 5 mins after the call, the oral surgeons office calls me and set an appointment for my visit and it is then Im informed of a $240 consultation fee, that may not be covered by my insurance. It seems that if the referral wouldve taken place at the time of my visit as I was told it would, Id have already been seen and had this tooth extracted. But if it was my job to deal with my referral, there would be no reason to ask me prior, if Id want a consultation setup with the oral surgeon and provide me with no name or contact. Not going back to this office, waited 2 weeks for the initial appointment when I called about mild tooth pain, waited a month to be told its my fault AND I still got a tooth that needs to go.
I have been receiving dental care from Dr. Oliver for 3 years now, and I have never been disappointed. All of his staff is wonderful! I am treated courteously and respectfully from the moment I arrive to the moment I leave. Dr. Oliver makes sure I understand any changes in my oral health. The dental hygienists do an excellent job of cleaning my teeth. I can actually say that I look forward to going to the dentist. Keep up the good work!
Very unprofessional. Lead me to have to leave without being seen due to lack of communication on their end. When I called to make an appointment a lot of things were left out that should’ve been told to a patient !
I am a long time patient. Recently had my check up and cleaning.. Brandi is my hygienist and I absolutely love her! She is gentle and she always asks if youre ok while she is cleaning.. Shes the best at keeping my teeth healthy. Dr. Oliver.. seriously.. one of a kind..He really is a great Dentist. He is very personable with his patients. He remembers my children. He remembers important things going on in our lives.. and He has always taken such good care of all of our dental needs. He introduced me to the clear aligners to straighten my smile and I had the best results.. the staff at the front desk are always mannerable and its the best place to go.. I highly recommend this office!!

I’ve been a patient here for 6 years. They provide great care however if you need to reach them by phone good luck, it won’t happen. You will be circled around in the voicemail system for hours and will never be able to leave a message, all the mailboxes are full. This is very frustrating when you need to cancel or change and appointment and if you miss your appointment you will be charged a “no show “ fee.
I have been a patient of Dr Olivers for several years now! I moved to Kernersville/Winston Salem area and asked for referrals and he came highly recommended! I have been extremely satisfied with his service from my very first visit! My children also see Dr Oliver. He has always provided my family with exceptional service. He always made the children feel comfortable, always kept up with them and even rewarded them for making good grades! I have always been treated professionally from the staff. The appointments are always on time and thorough. My dental hygienist is the best (Brandi). I would strongly recommend this practice!
At j Oliver they staff are very kind and respect people they do a good job on my teeth I dont not have no complaints great people
This denist have ruined all my choppers with temp feel ins and now I have no choppers. He gets over on the government. He aslo have ruined everyone I know teeth. The worst denist Ive ever known. These reviews are false. His staff is not professional.
I paid cash about three years ago for a filling. The filling has come out> What do I need to do,
Very nice. Im not good with denstry cause I hate pain but they did a good job in keeping me calm during my extraction. I like when Im being talked to :)
First, I would just like to say that I and my son have been loyal patients with this establishment since 2011. He had a 4:20 pm cleaning scheduled today. We get there for his appointment and have to wait due to another patient being at the window. After he finishes I give my sons name and appointment time before being told that I will have to reschedule with no explanation. I respond, Ill call back to reschedule and headed back to the car with my sons (12 and 3). I get to the car and see that the time is only 4:40 pm. I go back in and ask the other front desk staffwoman what time she has to make sure that my phone and their computer has the same time, which she confirmed. I proceeded to explain to the other caucasion staffwoman (the staff that I initially spoke with was on the phone) when we arrived we had to wait for *about* 5 minutes before being served (not knowing the exact length of time). She then says that when you walked up to the window it was 4:36 pm so that still is over 10 minutes (ironically she conveniently just so happened to know the exact time and that it was off by 1 minute). I was aware the general 15 minute grace period for appointments but was informed for the 1st time in 6 years that they have only a 10 minute allowance. She says that is has been 10 minutes since they opened although she is a fairly new employee (I had my cleaning months earlier). I requested for future purposes, if staff could notify patients while scheduling appointments and when given appointment reminders that if they arrive 10 minutes after the appointment time they will have to reschedule. I requested this for all future patients because the last thing that you want to hear is we have to reschedule when you have wasted time, gas, and energy to arrive at an appointment (calling to reschedule would be much easier). The staffwoman tells me that the new patient packet includes the 10 minute appointment allowance then says I see right here where you have been a patient since 2011. As I told her thats 6 years ago who is going to remember that? To make what could be a longer story short the front desk staff that I interacted with today were very unprofessional, unhelpful, and down right ignorant as it relates to customer service. Oliver Family Dentistry just lost a set of loyal 6 year patients in one day and I will no longer recommend their services to my family, friends, collegues, or clients from this day forward. I signed my sons medical release papers and scheduled his appointment with our new provider within 30 minutes of this incident.
I have always received professional, knowledgeable and friendly service from Dr Oliver and his staff.
Patient people. Progressive dental care. Easy to work with for appointments. They are golden.
So far I am very satisfied with my new Dental Drs.
Five star!
Could not ask for a better dentist. Everything is clean, there is no long wait. They are friendly, they know how to joke around while still being professional :)
Unprofessional they will change ur apoinment without letting you know.
I love this dentist place they do good
Very unprofessional my a appointment was at 9 and the cancelled it without my knowing... Ive been here since 845 and they let me in at 9, to leave me in the lobby for an hour.. last week they cancelled my appointment cause they said I only had Medicaid.. I replied bc Im young I cant have any other insurance and you didnt ask for my new insurance .. I didnt want to give him a star but I had to to post this
I would not refer or recommend anyone else here.
Friendly staff always smiling 😁😁😁😁😁
Great Dentist
