My recent office visit with Dr. Blake Nelson was great as always. He sees my 10 yr old daughter as well and she is completely comfortable with him and his staff. Excellent exam and cleaning. Hygienist was very thorough and made the process seem much less painful and less a dreaded process. The excellent relationship with Dr. and Hygienist, as well as other staff, made the visit more like a friendly visit with friends than a medical appointment to be dreaded from time to time.

Dr Nelson is a very caring and compassionate dentist. Once you walk in you are greeted by one of kindness ladies Lacy and then they get you back and explain every step they are doing and keep checking on you to see if you are ok. They make going to dentist a pleasant one!

I will start off by saying that I have had a really strong fear of dentists since I was a child and it never got any better as I got older. I had to take medication just to have my teeth cleaned. Wow! I am 53 years old and have dreaded the dentist my whole life until yesterday! I chose Benton and Nelson for sedation but after meeting them at the consultation I felt comfortable to try without it. I walked in and everyone was friendly and not just to me but to everyone! Dr. Nelson let me know I was in control and could stop at any moment by raising my hand. I didn’t have sedation and also no pain, no discomfort and no stress. They have changed my life. My daughter has a deep-rooted fear of going to the dentist. We are so happy to have found Dr. Nelson! He and his staff are patient, supportive and caring. My daughter (shes a young adult) needed some fillings and opted to have sedation in order to minimize her anxiety and fear and the whole process was easy and painless. I am so grateful to Dr. Nelson for offering sedation dentistry because otherwise my daughter would likely not have gotten the cavities filled which would have led to even greater problems.If you are fearful or anxious about going to the dentist you MUST go see Dr. Nelson. You do not need to go the sedation route (and most patients probably dont) but its nice to know this is an option for those with extreme anxieties.

I have only been in the office 3 times. Twice for cleanings and once to have a crown recemented. My experiences have been top notch everytime, from the time I walk in the door to when I leave. They are not in my network for my insurance so it cost me a little more but I’ll pay more when I have a great dentist.

As a person with extremely sensitive teeth, I dread going to the dentist. It is always painful. I heard good things about Dr Nelson and decided to give him a try. Glad I did!The hygienist was gentle yet thorough and even offered warm water to rinse with. She used a special toothpaste that left my teeth feeling clean and kept taking breaks to make sure I was ok. I was on the end of my chair the whole time waiting for the zing and it never happened.They measured the amount of recession and bone loss as a baseline for future visits. Dr Nelson came in and looked at everything and asked if I had any questions or concerns. He took time to explain things and asked numerous times if he was explaining things well. It feels like a very relational vs transactional office.Definitely won my business!

The best experience I’ve ever had with a dentist was with Dr.Nelson! My father, a home bound, 98 yr old WWII vet, desperately needed his dentures adjusted and Dr.Nelson, went over and above board in helping us out. He was gracious enough to fix his dentures in my dad’s home, thereby not having to go out In these scary pandemic days! Dr. Nelson was more than eager to help, he was kind, thoughtful, very knowledgeable, extremely prompt and a pleasure to meet. I CANNOT recommend him enough! GREAT DENTIST!!
