I’m so glad I found a great dental practice in Winston-Salem. Everyone is professional and caring. They made it easy to feel comfortable. Also, this practice has efficient scheduling. It was easy for me to come in as a non-established patient.

I’ve been going to Dr. Keider’s office for about 2 years now. He has treated every issue I’ve had and with the highest level of expertise and care. The staff has always treated me with kindness and have provided the best quality of care and service! I love this office and it feels good knowing that they will take care of any issues that I may have going forward.

Just moved to Winston Salem and was looking for a dentist that I could go to and trust (considering I had been at my last dentist for 21 years). Unfortunately Dr. Keider is not that dentist. I was told I had 13 cavities and that I had to pay everything up front because my insurance would reimburse me. When I went to get confirmation on what Dr. Keider has told me, at my original dentist, I was told I didn’t have any and the 13 “cavities” Dr. Keider saw hadn’t changed sizes in years! Also when I got my insurance bill, it showed that they paid the dentist directly and were not going to reimburse me. Disappointment and lies surround this dentist. I would rather trust a monkey with my mouth than Dr. Keider.

Dr. Keider is the best. I have been a patient here since my first dentist appointment nearly twenty years ago. He takes meticulous care of my teeth and makes sure everything is looking good. His staff is very friendly and welcoming as well. I wouldn’t step foot in another dentist’s office.

My wife and I lucked into Dr. Keiders office almost 20 years ago, when we were desperate to find a dental staff that didnt hurt/traumatize our seven-year-old son. Everyone is very professional and the office is always very clean. No billing issues ever and they offer on-line payment options. Up front with any out of pocket costs and claims are filed timely with insurance.The best part is they are AWESOME with kids. Dr. Keider is by far the BEST dentist in the triad! I have a major phobia of dental work but once I started going to see Matthew Keider my feelings changed for the good. His chairside manner is superb and explains everything thoroughly. His staff is great too! Its great to be able to go to the dentist and leave the fear behind because you know that you are in good hands. I do wish the scheduling and office hours were a little better but that is not enough for me to give this office any less than 5 stars!

The staff and Doc are absolutely, good-natured and AWESOME! Professional and Courteous in every respect. Very knowledgeable and they make sure you are relaxed and at ease. These folks give you every ounce of attention and detail. Very thorough. Ive been to several dentists before in my 62 years and these folks have literally wiped out the competition in scores when it comes to excelling in Satisfactory Customer Service. If you fear dentists, heres one youll camp outside to see for your dental work. Thats how calming my own experience has been with them. I cannot HIGHLY RECOMMEND them enough! I have been going to Dr. Keider for at least 20 years and appreciate their excellent service and expertise. Now my kids also go and love the calm and quiet environment, which was very different than the pediatric dentist they had been seeing which was rather chaotic. We recently discovered my husband has stage 4a head and neck cancer. We were told he would need some dental work done before we could start radiation and chemo. There was no doubt. I switched to Dr Keider several years ago after giving up on another local dentist that left meeach 6 months with a “treatment plan” of things I could elect to do. Matthew Keider and his staff are WONDERFUL! About 2 weeks ago I was in excruciating pain due to 2 teeth in my mouth! I found them on google and they were able to squeeze me in the day I called. I received a prescription to combat the infection which worked! Yesterday, I had both teeth extracted! It was the best experience Ive ever had and I cant wait to go back! I didnt feel the teeth come out at all! It was truly a pleasant experience! Thank you all!

Dr Matthew Keider is truly in the top 97% of his specialty and provides exceptional service, proper and prudent recommendations to all patients. Does NOT push or try to have a patient obtain the “most expensive” options, but rather consults with the patient all options, and procedures specifically customized for you. I found Keider DDs after moving to town & searching online. It seemed like the best place for our family & I was right! The staff is excellent, the clinic is very nice & Dr. Keider is a great dentist.

I highly recommend Dr. Keider and his staff! The facility is very nice. The procedure chairs give a gentle massage and there are TVs in the room for you as well. I love my hygienist Stephanie who Ive seen about 3 times now. I had to get 2 fillings at my last visit and it went very well - no pain! Dr. Keider and his assistant (I cant remember her name) were great!

Dr. Keider and his staff are top-notch. I have been seeing him for 15 years, and now my children go there as well. They are amazing with kids. Recently my 7 yr old had nine cavities filled over three visits. He had such a good experience there he was disappointed not to be going back for more fillings!

I have been seeing Dr. Keider and his team for the last 19 years. The staff is gentle and remembers you when you come for a visit. Youre definitely more than a number here!Now, with their upgraded office, I dont even need a pediatric dentist for my kids. At 3 years old, they each started coming to visit Stephanie and Dr. Keider to combat the evil sugar bugs that like to form cavities. Im not usually one to write reviews or gush praise, but I am so happy to have found Dr. Keider and his amazing staff.Before coming to Dr. Keider, Ive had plenty of disappointing dentists ranging from mediocre to straight up bad. From inexperienced assistants, to brutish and heavy handed dentists, to unprofessional banter and borderline inappropriate comments while I was half knocked out on nitrous.So after my last bad experience, I knew I really needed to read some reviews before picking a new dentist. Dr Keider had a small batch of good reviews, but the reviews were all so glowing that I decided to give him a chance. I am so glad I did!Now that Ive been to his facility (which is very nice) about 5 or 6 times I feel I can write a very informed review.Dr Keider is the best. He is very detail oriented (a great quality for a dentist), calm and he has a very positive attitude. He knows what he is doing, and he is very thorough. He is a good communicator and will patiently explain things in detail in a way that is technical yet understandable.His staff is very professional, courteous, compassionate, and most importantly they are extremely proficient and talented. What I really love is the fact that he and his staff have a mutual respect for each other. Do you know how rare that is? This is evident in little things like the way he appreciates the excellent work they do. For someone with an extreme fear of the dentist, I was treated horribly, then refused service. The front desk staff had a personality that doesnt belong in healthcare, and had no compassion for the level of pain I was in. The dental assistant was pleasant enough, and Dr. Keider was initially kind...Then refused to treat me, left me crying outside the office in excruciating pain. This is the kind of practice that reinforced all my fears about dentists. You couldnt pay me to go back to him. Ive had great experiences for the last 5 years with dentists, but if anyone has severe pain, and a fear of the dentist, DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Keider for about 15 years. When we moved from Winston Salem to Greensboro we changed Doctors, hair stylists, etc. but there was no way we would change Dr. Keider to someone closer. Sometimes it takes about an hour to get to his office but neither of us mind. Dr. Keider and everyone in his office is like family. I have had a considerable amount of work done from crowns to bridges to tooth extractions and never did I not understand what was about to happen and none of it hurt, which was very important to me!!! I tell everyone I come into contact with how awesome Dr. Keider and his staff are. They are the best!!!!!

I had severe tooth pain. I called Dr. Keider and he answered after hours to give me advice on what to do until Monday. He then fit me in for an extraction on Monday. He did a great job with numbing and the extraction. No pain and it healed well.

I was never informed that my dental insurance (MetLife) was out of network. I know it was my responsibility to check but the website said they take most dental insurances and the staff told me that they see a lot of Novant employees. I had made the appointment to have my teeth cleaning done, but they never did that part and said they would do it at my next appointment. I thought this was really weird. I have never been to a dentist without receiving a cleaning first. They performed a dental exam (dentist looked in my mouth and felt my neck) and X-rays- they said that it was covered and I would owe $0 for my appointment that day. I just got a bill in the mail for $50 since this office’s services are so overpriced. Another odd thing about this office is that they have SODA and COOKIES in the lobby for their patients. Weird. The office staff did seem nice and the dentist himself was nice, I just didn’t get a good vibe and office didn’t gain my trust.

I need a great dentist to see me right away, due to the fact of teeth hurting. Got me in the next day. Treated me with respect and no judgements. Waiting to hear back from them on estimates...

Best dentist and staff Ive ever been too!

I love this dental office. My 5 year old son was traumatized from awful experiances from 2 different pediatric dentist we had previously gone to. The whole staff at Dr Keiders office where very profecional and understanding to us. My son walked out saying he is no longer scared of the dentist :) I only regret not coming to them earlier.
