I have lived here for the past year and love it. Its relatively new (the Hillside ones are brand new) and fairly priced for the amount of space/amenities you get.Things that are great:- packages are usually dropped off at your door; separate mailbox for smartpost/regular mail- very responsive staff and building manager, super friendly- as others have mentioned, the pool area is great. You have to pay to use the party/event room, but its
Poor poor service reviews! I would not recommend. 0/10
My team and I got to stay at the Lofts At Little Creek this summer for four months. The apartments and the grounds are beautiful. Andrew (Maint.) keeps everything working and gets to things quickly if you do have an issue. The office staff is always helpful and Lolita goes above and beyond to make sure that your stay is fantastic. She is a joy to work with. The pool, the workout facility, etc everything is top notch!!Bill
If I could put no star I would…. Word to the wise, just don’t live here …
Worst living experience ever! Don’t live here!
Beautiful with lots of amenities. Waterfalls, outdoor fireplaces, indoor lounges. Everything a high end resort offers
After living here for 3 years, I can honestly say I couldnt have had a better experience. The nicest and most respondent staff Ive encountered. The pool and amenities are amazing. The apartment itself was fantastic and made me feel good coming home every day. So many food and shopping options in walking distance was extremely convenient. It has everything you need and is in my opinion the best apartment complex in the area. Id check them out if youre interested! The only negatives Ive encountered were trash smell from down the hall, cigarettes and trash left by hotel guests next door, and no dog park. Other than that, it was amazing!
Very nice updated, open, and modern apartments! Great location and easily accessible to shopping locations within walking and close driving distances. This is the best complex I have stayed at. Management is great, they communicate very well, and host fun events. Whenever I had an issue, it was fixed within 24 hours with a notice stating they came by and what the issue was. I highly recommend living at The Lofts At Little Creek!
Excellent community. The office staff has been constant in my 12 months of living here. Just renewed for another 12 months!! There are quiet hours set in place which I LOVE. Great for professionals to get a good nights rest, not to mention the courtesy officer who is fantastic and is here for any issues. The reviews given really don’t do this place justice, trust me! I am more than happy with my home. My neighbors are amazing, and there’s a real sense of community here! The location is amazing, very accessible to restaurants and shopping. Maintenance requests are always done promptly and the maintenance team is very professional. If 10/5 stars was possible, that’s what I would rate this community!
My friend has lived here for a few years and his apartment is absolutely beautiful. Its super expensive, but you get a gym, a really nice pool that has a waterfall, and a hammock garden. Plus, the location is really great.
Terrible customer service, and the staff is horrible!!
What’s not to love about this property? Excellent management, great location, fast and efficient maintenance team. These people actually CARE. Something you will have trouble finding elsewhere. Lolita, Karina and Lauren are always very welcoming. They do resident events once a month which are advertised in the newsletter we get. The communication here is amazing, I feel like I’m always informed. Would recommend to anyone!
What is there not to love about this property? The office staff is very professional and makes you feel welcomed. The maintenance staff does excellent completing the work orders. The location is perfect, there is so much you can do just around this property. I 100% recommend this property !
I was nervous to move here from another state but the entire staff including their maintenance crew made me feel welcome. They have been very helpful from the very beginning. Reading the old reviews I was very nervous but I can say with honesty, this community is one of the best places I have rented from. Dont let the old reviews scare you away because it will be your loss.
Love this property, I just moved in at the lofts at hillside (the new construction)The building is beautiful! I have a very peaceful tree line view. The staff made my move in very easy and they were extremely thorough. I can’t wait for the amenities to open up.
Not only are the girls in the office amazing, but the residents themselves are awesome! I’ve made so many friends here after moving up from Florida after I accepted a job at Wake Forest. I couldn’t bat happier with my decision. Will definitely be reviewing! Thank you guys for all you do!
Was very excited to move-in here and my opinion changed quickly after. We were the first to live in our unit which was great. I will say the kitchen finishes were very nice, but the compliments stop there. We had so many issues with our flooring. The cheap floor would shift or come up at least 4 times. We have a dog and would have to lock him up every time for the to fix the same issue. The complex is similar to a hotel setup where you have hallways. The hallways echo like crazy and would wake us up all night. We had a neighbor that had a loud dog barking non stop. We complained at least 3 to 5 times and nothing was ever done about it.We overlooked the Hilton Hotel and would get woken up at 2,3,4,5 am. They would have parties etc that would run out into the parking lot. Cops were called all the time with fights, etc. The hotel would get deliveries starting at 3am.They have amenities, but in reality its wasted space. The whole basement level is the amenities. They have a party room, but you have to pay a deposit and pay a rate now which it was designed to be free. A bunch of random rooms that dont do anything. The gym is nice, and so is the pool. The issue with the pool is that they put the dumpster close enough for the pool area to always smell like trash.Parking is also a nightmare. The owners have one lot for the lofts and all the business around it, including the hotel. There was never any parking and I would normally have to park very far away from the building. Only more businesses have opened, so I can imagine its even worse. The office staff was horrible as well. They changed ever few months and we never had any help from them. The place was very expensive for what we got. Dont fall for the amenities when no one really uses them.
Horribleee
Lived there for 3 1/2 years and found it extremely accommodating and comfortable. Office staff was was very friendly and helpful; the pool was clean and well maintained and the lounge was very comfortable for several meetings I held there. Great part of town.
Horrible liars.
When searching for your next living experience, The Lofts at Little Creek is the perfect combination of professional leasing experience, timely maintenance, and a welcoming community. I couldnt be more pleased with my living experience here. First class amenities (weight room, laundry room, etc.) and a pool with a waterfall! They also have a putting green for those who want to take a few stokes off of the putting game. I highly recommend considering The Lofts at Little Creek from anyone to a recent grad (in this case me), to a family. The surrounding community is a safe place and in the 1.5 years I lived there, I always felt safe. There are also 4-6 restaurants within walking distance from the apartment complex. If you are in mood to order food for a big game or after you get done playing a round of golf, Brixx and Buffalo Wild Wings were my go tos. In the mood for a weekend brunch, Famous Toastery never disappointed, and if you are craving a sub, look no further than Jersey Mikes! You are minutes away from Hanes Mall, a movie Theater, Target, and Walmart. If you are wanted to go to Downtown Winston, the travel distance is no more than 10-15 minutes (depending on traffic). The Lofts at Little Creek truly made my living experience in Winston-Salem one that is hard to live up to wherever i live next! I also want to give a shout out to Lauren and Karina, the warming and welcoming faces that greet you at the front office. They truly put the residents first and make sure that any problems you have are taken care of within a reasonable time frame. Hands down the best complex I have enjoyed living at and if i had it to do over again, I would chose this place first every time!
This place fantastic! The pool is to die for, so happy with my decision to move from Charlotte NC to Winston-Salem. I’m still only around 7 minutes from downtown, without the downtown price tag.
As someone who has lived in Winston their entire life, this place is a joke. Not only for the ridiculous high rent (check the other reviews), but for the absolute rudeness from the management staff. I came here for an anniversary party, we had friends who live here. Apparently, the apartments have a 10:00pm curfew for the pool. Thats fine, however the rudeness from management staff was totally uncalled for as we were packing up. The super, I am going to assume her name is Sharon. Her and her husband came barging into the common area at 9:55pm on a Saturday night, berating us about the curfew. We were all packing up and they very rudely told us that we overstayed our welcome and needed to leave immediately. *Shocker*...we were packing up. Her husband started shouting orders at us. We asked if he was the officer on duty. He got very upset that we asked that. He was not the officer on duty and continued to ask who we were and who lived on the premises. I totally get you dont want wild parties, I get it. But the rudeness was totally uncalled for and what you, Sharon, dont understand is if people come and visit the complex and have a good time they take that into consideration and tell their friends or think of it as an option to live. As someone who is looking for new apartments, I am always looking for new places to live or recommend to friends. For the rent you will be paying, go find a place downtown. There is a reason that this place has multiple bad reviews about the management. The Kimpton, Plant 64, WS Factory Lofts any of these have great options and amenities and I have gone to multiple parties here and had a great time and not been treated like I was a trespasser. If youre looking for a new place to live and want to pay a lot in rent for amenities that you and your friends never get to use, then this place I am sure is great. If you want to experience fun and enjoy the same great amenities but be able to actually use the amenities you paid for without your friends getting harassed move somewhere else, anywhere else.
One of the best apartment complexes Ive lived at. The leasing staff are so welcoming including the male that works there. The maintenance stuff are quick to help. I cant wait to resign my lease
Excellent and incredibly helpful staff. Would recommend
Didnt lease:I have toured this community a hand-full of times. Each time I have been in it has been a different person helping me. This was my first sign that this may not be the place for me. However, I kept coming back in because everyone seemed interested in helping me. Even the regional was welcoming. My last visit was going to be my final decision to lease here. Until I met Aaron. She was cold and very unwelcoming. During our tour, I did not tell her that I have been here many times, she didnt answer my questions with any interest. It was the quickest tour I have been on since looking. And at the end she told me to call her leasing conslutant if I had questions! Needless to say, I decided not to lease due to the constant staff changes and I did not feel at home with her.
I’ve lived at The Lofts for 3 years now. I LOVE it here. The aminities are AWESOME, the pool being my favorite. The office staff is wonderful & very caring. (There has been a lot of office turn over in the past, which has a lot to do with the negitive reviews on The Lofts. They’ve got that problem fixed!!!) The location is the best.I don’t plan on going anywhere!!!
I have lived here for a year now and I believe that they are undeserving of some of these low scores. I have looked at apartments in Winston and recently in Charlotte, but the value here is pretty great.Room:The one bedrooms are larger than pretty much any other apartment in the area and the prices are very comparable. I live in the Durham so for me the bedroom is huge and the living space is just the right size. You also get one of the biggest closets I have ever seen, you could honestly put a twin/double mattress in here and have some space left over. I also love the hardwood floors in the living area and carpet in the bedroom. The bathroom has tile floors and two sinks. Most apartments have a very large bathtub in them, but mine has a stand up shower. I do wish the bedroom door was back farther past the bathroom so that guests who crashed on the couch did not have to go into the bedroom to use the bathroom, but there may be a practical reason why this wasnt done. If you dont live on the top floor you may hear your upstairs neighbor, but it has never been a big deal to me.AmenitiesThe pool and deck area are extremely nice. They have a nice work out area. Also included is a business center, a rec room with a pool table, a social space, a media room with a PS4, and dog washing station. The rec room and social space can be rented out for a price if you have a large group and want the privacy, but they are free to use otherwise. They have a laundry room, but my apartment has a washer/dryer already in the room. The building is accessible only with a FOB key and the entrances are under 24 hour surveillance so you can feel safe. There are trash rooms on each floor that are emptied every day. Elevators also make moving a piece of cake here.Area:The location is incredible. You are within walking distance to a ton of restaurants and then you have a Walmart and a Target less than 5 minutes away. The Target center has a ton of other stores as well. Another great aspect is that youre so close to I-40 and 421 that its easy to bypass the traffic on Hanes Mall Blvd. You also have three hotels withing walking distance for any visitors who need more space. I dont own a pet or have any children, but there is a great walking path that has access to a park with a playground.Parking has been somewhat of an issue if you are coming in later in the day, but they are addressing the issue. Even when the only available spot is farther away, it isnt far enough to be that bad and the entire lot is well lit so you can feel safe if youre alone.Even with some of the negatives I have, they are far outweighed by the positives of living here. The staff has been nothing but friendly and accommodating towards me. I would recommend living here.
The most disrespectful management staff that I have ever come across. My wife and I did not enjoy the management team here. The amenities are okay, but they require you to pay to use the common areas. During our stay, the complex manager was not welcoming at all. They nickel and dime you for absolutely everything. Despite advertising it as one, the management was not supportive of a pet-friendly environment. The pet fees continued to rise and the complex was sent periodical emails threatening to evict due to pet misconduct. In addition, we had a cockroach problem in our apartment. Overall, our room was okay and the location was a plus, but the current complex manager did not make our stay enjoyable. If I were to do it all over again, I definitely would not have chosen to live here because of her.
Would recommend this LOVELY property to anyone. Luxe apartments, SECURE building, fantastic amenities. I love my HOME here
They forced me to pay carpet maintenance from my previous unit. If you are existing tenant, they dont seem to care as much if you are a new renter ready to sign a lease. I believe leasing staff change frequenlty and whoever is working now is ready to contend with you while the maintenance staff is great. The property and units are very nice and gives you urban style living experience. There is few restaurants (Brixx, Cheddarss, Firebirds, Jersey Mikes Subs, UMI Steak House is coming soon) as well a Hotel in the same plaza but the downside of it is these days parking has become so aggravating in evening time.
Personable, curteous and helpful. However lots of staff turnover
