I called Blue Ridge Glass and Metal and Jim gave me a price of $325 for the unit, and gave me tips on installation. Exactly what I needed. 20 minutes after getting it home, I was done! Thanks Jim! Im from Montana and we use rocks on the road in winter. I replace 4 windshields a year. I would use the national chain and for every vehicle, someone in my family would wait for 3-4 hours. I was in and out of Blue Ridge Glass in an hour. Wish I could bring all the vehicles out to use them. Staff is helpful, friendly and do a really nice job!

I wanted to get some cut glass so I Googled this place. Their website states that they are open on Saturdays. Got there to find it closed on Saturdays. UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE.

I own a 40ft Motorhome which had some rock damage on both windshields. Blue Ridge Glass was the company which put a new ones in. Sounds easy, doesnt it. In no way was it an easy job. Jim and his team went out of their way to get the job done. They had to fight a warped and twisted cap, which was out of square by 1 inch. They didnt give up! Safelite scheduled install for Tuesday @ 8am I dropped my car and they call at noon and said windshield wouldn’t be in until Friday. No call or communication on Monday saying windshield didn’t come in. Called Jim at Blue Ridge on Tuesday afternoon he said I can get it over night so scheduled Thursday morning and had it installed by 9. Highly recommend giving Jim a call.

Blue Ridge Glass and Metal accommodated me the day after Thanksgiving enough though they were busy. Jim, the owner, checked on which glass was needed and let me know my options and what the difference between the different options. The employee at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The price was fair and more reasonable than other places in the area. I would recommend them for your glass and windshield needs.

I had a Jeep Wrangler with a broken windshield and some wiring issues that wouldn’t start. I called around trying to find the best deal on a tech that could come to us to replace the windshield. Not only did Blueridge have the best price (no extra fee to come to my house since I was within the city) but they had a windshield in stock and were at my house less than 4 hours after I called and spoke to them. The tech was very friendly (even my dog liked him and she usually barks at everyone lol) and explained if it started to rain he may have to come back the next day to do it but he got it done so quickly I didn’t even notice him leaving. Thank you so much, will be recommending you to anyone I know looking for windshield replacement.

Jim at Winchester Auto Glass recently completed a repair of our back window on our convertible top. The seal between the window and the canvas was beginning to separate, which would cause rain to come into the car through the broken seal. Jim made a service call to our home and was able to perfectly re-seal the back window. We were originally told by another repair shop that wed have to replace the entire canvas top of the convertible for this to be fixed, which would have been very costly. Jims repair saved us a ton of money, and we cannot thank him enough for his outstanding service, as well as his top quality work.

I stopped in to see if they could install a rear-view mirror for me if I ordered one on Ebay. They had an exact match for my car, at a great price, and installed it for me at no charge. In & out in less than 10 minutes. Friendly staff and great service!

I will tell you this company by far is the best company I have ever done Buisness with. I am from NY and had a tire go threw my windshield on my way to traveling to Georgia. I have 3 boys ages 7,6,2 and my husband with me. I called around to many places in the area and called this place and actually got disconnected and they CALLED ME BACK. I explained to them my situation they told me to find a local hotel they will have my glass in by 8 am they will come pick up my car fix it and bring it back by 10 am and they did just that. More than thankful.

Last year, in October (and I am sorry it has taken so long for me to do this) these wonderful guys came to my rescue when I foolishly jack-knifed my camper into my truck rear window. I was a relatively new camper driver and was so upset. Not only did these folks do a great job, they did it with compassion and just as fast as they could to get me on the road again, even though they had to make a double run to the office. I called them the window angels. The work was well done - no leaking and defroster works fine in addition to the fact that they went above and beyond to help me. Without a doubt, 5 stars!

Jim at Winchester Auto Glass has restored my faith in humanity. I smashed my back sliding glass loading wood on my beater and was in a tight spot, not wanting to get a whole brand new back glass. Jim was on it. Not only did he go to the junk yard and pull a piece of glass that they themselves said was impossible, he also paid for it up front and let me owe it to him when he installed it. He popped the glass in in about 5 min and ended up costing me half for what the other places wanted for a new back glass. Awesome.

I just had my windshield replaced today and was so glad I chose this company! They helped me through every step of the process - even to how to find my policy/deductible information on my insurance card. I got an immediate appointment and they assisted in the claim process. Not to mention easy-to-find location and very, very nice people. And in case you go hungry I noticed an ice cream case in the office - YUM!

Went to them with a broken mirror, part of a set. They got me a new set, new hardware. Adjusted them, and replaced one piece I broke. Did not want to let me pay for it. I dif. These are good people.

Fast and friendly. Had my rear windshield shattered by a rock kicked up by a tractor and trailer. Called Winchester Auto Glass because they had been recommended. Jim and his staff were quick. They ordered the glass, came and cleaned up the mess and installed the windshield. Did great work! My husband had put plastic over the broken window with duck tape. The repair guy even cleaned up the residue from my husbands duck tape job. Highly recommend this company.

We had to evacuate from NC due to hurricane Florence. While here in Winchester the windshield on my motorhome broke. A windshield was shipped on Monday from Elkhart IN on Monday, arrived Wednesday afternoon and the folks at BRG got is in first thing Thursday morning. Christy even offered to let us use her car. Great service, friendsf stays. Highly recommended.

Office was professional. Friendly. And know their stuff. Cheapest I found as well. But upon returning home and inspecting I was dissapointed in lack of detail on installation. Some plastic clips on sides at bottom were broke or just laying there as if they were put back on. Side plastic strips have good bit of play when u push down on them. Overall looks good, but seemed like a rush job.I will not return in future.

I was driving from Massachusetts and took rocks to my window from a heavily-laden dump truck in New Jersey. Asked friends and family in VA who I should use to replace my windshield, and these folks were highly recommended by the locals. They did a super job, on time, no fuss with the insurance paperwork, and the replacement was very well done in all the little details (registration stickers saved; EZPass transponder velcro properly re-attached; rain sensor hook-up done properly, etc). I went to their shop due to freezing temperartures, but theyd have happily come to me if temperature was better for optimal sealing of the new glass. While I waited, their WiFi worked well, and the whole experience was a good one; completed in just over 1 hour.
