My son was trying to ship three boxes today with your store and your employee trying to charge him $250 to ship one box, i noticed something wasn’t right then I asked him to prices all three box and tell me the cost.Then he said I’m sorry I quoted him the wrong price the price is $380 for all three boxes, I asked him how much he was charging for tax he couldn’t answer that, then I got worried I asked to speak to a manager on duties. I asked her the same questions she wasn’t no help either although she didn’t understand why I was been over charged. I’m extremely unhappy today. You lost a great customer due to your staff trying to overcharged my son. I wish the manager could have done something to help but she didn’t, you could of redo the transaction to see why your employee was over charging me but you decided not too!

We use this location for my husbands business and everyone is always super helpful, no matter how many packages he has obnoxiously taking up space or how long it takes us to get there and grab them. I have a spine injury and these guys are so kind making sure the boxes are on a cart for me so I dont hurt myself. Ive seen them take a lot of abuse from customers, especially during the holidays, for things that are totally out of their control. It amazes me how they keep their cool even when people are treating them terribly. I really appreciate everyone at this UPS (especially Josh, who helps me most often) and just wanted to express my gratitude and say thanks for a job well done!

Ive had a mailbox here for the past 5 months or so. Im usually in the store a number of times a week for mail and packages or using their print or notary services. The staff is always pleasant and friendly. Whether Im picking up a package, getting something printed or notarized, the service has always been fast and easy. Love this location!

Leigh Ann and the rest of her staff are absolutely PHENOMENAL. I ship things out 3-4 times a week. I am so glad that I no longer go use USPS and every package I ship out is with you guys, at UPS. Simply because of the customer service. They are so so friendly, and quick! I never have to wait when Im here because they man down all three registers if need be. Absolutely thumbs up for these wonderful ladies, and one gentleman that work here.

I have been going the The UPS store for many years now . I have always found their customer service to be wonderful. They are very pleasant and friendly. I always ask for Leighanne to package up my stuff as she does a wonderful job. They have a hard job especially during this time but they always have been very pleasant to me and others while I am there. Thank you for being nice to your customers even when I know people are not always nice to you. I enjoying seeing everyone in the store.

They do not follow ups guidelines for Amazon returns properly. It’s because they do not train their employees to ups standards. If there was another UPS store in Winchester, then this location would not last long. I do know ups guidelines very well. And, this location is not up tomUPS standards. For instance, they refuse to take the item I tried to return for Amazon, but I took this same item to the ups store in leesburg location without any problems Maybe if they spent more time with training as much time they spend on responding to comments, I would not have had to post a negative comment

UPS delivered again. When the United States Post Office was experiencing strange delays in January and unreliable service, UPS delivered for me. Suzie handled the notary work and the details to send it for USPS. This week Leighanne got my load of birthday packages shipped quickly and accurately, despite my brain fog. I went into the UPS Store yesterday and saw a line. I thought I would be waiting for a while, but the manager and staff were so fast and efficient, I had a very short wait despite the long line. They were courteous, professional and even though they were speedy, their customer service and friendliness were top-notch. Bravo to them!

Not a safe place to do business. When you enter there is an awkwardly worded sign saying something to the effect of you can wear a mask if you want, but the employees dont have to Masks are not for yourself, they are for the people that you live in society with. The plastic shields that you think are protecting your customers are not the same. In the meantime, I will drop off my UPS packages at Walgreens where the employees are required to wear masks.

Sign in store shows older employees are lying about not wearing masks. They are trying to hide behind 2 federal laws that they don’t understand. Hippa does not stop people from asking it stops businesses and governments. Amendment 4 protects us from the government. Maybe the old workers should read both laws

I am so sick of hearing about Facemasks. This is a great business. I have been a customer for many years. If you are scared of the virus STAY HOME! In case you didnt notice the employees are safely behind glass.Instead of criticizing the employees at UPS, you should thank each and every employee for having the guts to show up to work and risking their lives every day. I have rented a mailbox from the UPS Store on Weems Lane for about 15 years. The employees and management have always given me phenomenal service. Never a problem.Over the past several months while getting my mail, I have witnessed incredibly rude nasty customers coming into the store and verbally assaulting the employees. For Gods sakes - you are just there to ship a package. People who abuse store employees are bullies.And shame on the people (cowards) that run to the internet and write a terrible review because they didn’t get their way. Perhaps you need a lesson in being a mature adult.

My experience with this store is always great. Today I was retuning a package that consisted of 2 items but with 1 shipping label. The customer rep informed me that I needed 2 labels for each item. This is understandable but the issue is the initial package was shipped with only 1 label and the return package information only offered 1 label. I asked if I could just tape the items together and use the 1 label which the rep confirmed with an attitude. I was then required to pay $5 for about 10ft of tape, tape the package myself included not allowing me to take the roll of tape with me. My complaint is this… if you do not like working in the customer service business…. Get out. You only provided excuses and “it not my problem- take it somewhere else” instead of providing solutions.

BE AWARE !!! This store is associated with UPS they are not a corporation and if you have a problem with your packages they simply do not help you!they do not take care of you !! My package was damaged in transit with UPS And they decide not to pay for the damage the store only informs you of that and it does not matter to them! please I ask that you be more considerate with your customers and help them to try to solve it !

Thank you to LeahAnn and her team. Our package was lost and she went above and beyond to resolve the error. She’s professional, kind, and gave us a full refund. A couple weeks later the package was found and she re-shipped the package at no cost. When we offered to return our refund, she refused and was graciously pleased to be able to find and ship our package. Excellent communication and customer service.

Horrible customer service!I went in today to return a heavy box that I needed assistant with. I asked the employee for help to remove the box from my car. The employee refused to help me and told me to use the dolly. I was aware that you can use the dolly,but I needed assistance putting the box onto the dolly. The individual was rude as well. Management needs to put more time into training the workers. I guess UPS doesnt help out the elderly and people with disabilities.

Stopped by this business today and was totally disappointed with there lack of protocol when it comes to mask wearing and social distancing. Very small store that was full of customers. There were three employees working the registers and two of the three had no mask on. Needless to say I did not stay and took my business elsewhere.

Weems Lane, Winchester VA staff not wearing masks. Door notice reads employees have medical conditions. All of them... If you ask for staff member without a medical condition to assist you they don’t have one. So sorry to hear how sick everyone is at UPS. Too bad they aren’t willing to be part of a bigger solution to keep all healthy. Will not use UPS going forward.

Dont go to this store if you are trying to avoid COVID. They are not enforcing the latest mandatory mask order issued by the governor. They have a sign up saying that since the mask order says if you have a medical condition you dont have to wear one, they will just assume you have a medical condition and will not make you wear one, and that they cant ask about your medical condition because of HIPPA & the 4th Amendment (neither of which is true). Two of the employees had their masks on, but not covering their noses. There was a guy in the store who was just hanging out with a friend who was shipping a package and even though he was transacting no business he was allowed to stay in the store. Everyone waiting to get to the counters are crammed into a ten foot long line area, which makes it impossible to social distance.

Went into the UPS store for a roll of UPS stamps. Only one customer in line ahead of me and she was doing a fax and the gentleman/clerk was waiting on her. Although there was another woman employee roaming around, she never even looked at me to ask if she could help me.Finally, about 5 minutes later, the gentleman finished with the other customer and turned to me. I ordered my stamps, paid and left.The charge for the roll of 100 stamps was $60.00. So, I assumed that the price of stamps had increased. After checking with USPS, I found out that no, the price is still $50.00 for a roll.So, assuming that a mistake had been made, I called the store and asked the price for a roll of stamps. I was informed that it was indeed $60.00!When I questioned this further, I was informed that This is a UPS store, not a Post Office.So, although many various Retail Outlets sell stamps at the same price as the USPS, apparently UPS feels that they have the right to charge $10.00 more that everyone else for USPS products.

Been visiting this UPS store for years using many of their varied services. I was very disappointed this morning to discover they are no longer a full service store. If you need to mail or ship to a post office box forget it. Dont bother. The UPS Store used to offer FEDEX, UPS, and USPS options for sending packages. Used the USPS option there many times as well as other express mail options. FEDEX and UPS will not ship to a post office box. You must use USPS. The UPS Store offered this option until just recently due to a corporate decision to discontinue USPS service. I also had a rural home address to use but was offered no other options for sending my package, leaving the store with my package in hand, heading to the post office. Very disappointing visit.

Let’s talk about Leanne! What a great customer service representative!I dropped off a package without a Return label, And was unsure if I would ever see my package again. I called to talk to a UPS representative concerning the issue, I talked to a man who told me they receive hundreds of packages a day and it was hard to know where it was located. He proceeded to tell me the package would probably just end up at my house in the next couple weeks.After not receiving my package, I called again and received Leanne. She was friendly and assured me they still had my package. She knew exactly which package it was, and provided excellent individual customer service. I am highly impressed with her interpersonal demeanor and knowledge of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Look people this store is trying there best in these terrible conditions give them a break! they have sneeze guards and employees with medical conditions, you are only in there a few minutes and the CDC says you have to be exposed for 15 minutes to caught it, and at another local post office none of the employees are wearing masks because they are behind sneeze guards! How about a thank you for the employees showing up to work risking their lives to take your package!Just got my passport pictures today, they did a great job!I have been coming to this store for years, always great customer service, finds the best way to ship my items for work, they help me with my copies and printing, just a wonderful staff

This UPS store is nice and quiet with all the supplies needed to package and ship anything you need to. You will pay a little extra for boxes here, but it is a convenient place to get something quick. The employees here are friendly and helpful so overall its a nice place to go.

Great store with extremely helpful employees. I was in line behind an elderly lady who was using a cane. She pulled out her cellphone in order to get more information for what I assumed was a shipping address and she realized that her phone was dead. The UPS guy, Jordan, grabbed a charger from the back and set her up at a desk so that her phone could charge and she could sit down to fill out the information. Its so nice to see employees going the extra mile like this for customers! Great job Jordan!!!

AWESOME SERVICE.....Very professional and caring staff!My elderly parents were victims of a money scam on Dec 14, 2018. The store manager, Leighanne Zeigler dropped everything and started tracking the the package after it shipped out from the Winchester area two hours prior to being notified of the scam. In less than 2 hours, they were able to locate and stop the truck with the assistance of the Front Royal UPS HUB and the Fredrick County Sheriffs Office and retrieve the package before it was loaded on a plane for an overnight delivery to New York. The money was recovered and returned to my parents, thank you all again for your help in this matter.

The owner of this business claims that she has drivers who work for her and claims that certain addresses are “ red flagged” and cannot accept delivery. She has dilutions and is a bit daft. She has on two occasions told me she cannot ship my parcels. I have since learned that it saves time, money and aggravation to either drive to the UOS center in Front Royal or just use USPS. I will never step foot in that place again, she is totally crazy

Went in to ship school books back during the holidays. Expected massive waits and long lines. Had the long lines, but no real wait. All of the cashiers were working and it moved right along. In and out under ten minutes. Pretty amazing considering the season.

Terrible experience with this store, the store manager, and the owner. My unsealed package was accepted for transportation - contents known to store employee - and I added insurance in the amount of $500. My package was destroyed on transit and, several weeks later after I did all the sleuthing, I was told the contents could not be shipped out of Virginia via UPS. The store manager called me a liar - but no one asked me what was in the wine carton (duh!) - I wish that had been made known to me prior to my losing out on my $500 shipment home.I could go on and on but I wont. My recommendation is to avoid this location at all costs. I have given the store several opportunities to correct this wrong but this falls upon deaf ears. Shame, shame, shame.

I carefully packaged and sent via UPS a box with dishes and clothes for my son who lives in Colorado. Along the way the box must have fallen or mishandled. During my visit with him I opened the box and took photos, of the broken dishes. Upon returning, I went to the store in Winchester and talked to them about what had happened.I received an email from Leighanne and she took care of everything and there was no hassle. I trully appreciated the great customer care. I now can replace all the broken dishes!Thank you!

Rented a mailbox here and asked if they would contact and remind me when renewal was due. Never heard anything from the store. Went to check my mail and they had given my box to someone else without getting my key or even notifying me. I went there and took someone elses mail out of what was my box before I realized that they rented the box to someone else. I cant remember the name of the lady that works there but she was rude and condescending and extremely spiteful (for whatever reason). Ive never been treated so poorly by a business in my life and I lived and worked in NYC for a decade. Save yourself the hassle and take your business elsewhere. In their response they claim to have called and emailed to notify me. Not true. I even checked my junk email folder to be sure and found NOTHING from the ups store. No phone calls OR notifications in the box itself either. Also, Ive only rented a box at this store once. The response is full of blatant fabrications in an attempt to save face. I went to the store in April (a full month after its said my account was terminated) and my key still worried on the box.The fact that they rented the mailbox to somebody else and didnt bother to change the lock is really all you need to know.

Absolutely horrible. I was was waiting for Amazon return pick ups two times and in both cases they dropped the return shipping bill and mark attempted pick up with no attempt to knock the door or ring the bell. I saw the truck leaving through the window and to my surprise the bills are left in the porch. I am contacting UPS customer service.

I would like to thank the woman in charge of handling passports for this wonderful review because she made it possible quick and easy for me to get my passport and ever since I now have a better outlook on this place because that meant a great deal to me and I am very happy and pleased with my experience, it was also quick and easy to do my passport photo as well and got a lot accomplished in just an hour!
