The technician arrived and he did not run any test to find out what was wrong with certain settings on my dryer, I explained, in my repair request that an error always popped up when we used a normal dry cycle. We can only dry clothes on the comforter cycle without getting an error. Once I used the dryer 2 days after he left the same error D9 or D90 popped up and I could not dry my clothes on a normal cycle.

My LG washer has not worked properly since day one!When the repair technicians do show up, parts are replaced but the machine is never fixed. I requested another repair for the same thing in June, they showed up Friday (December)....and the machine is still not fixed and continues to leak! I got a lemon!!! I purchased the warranty, in hopes for better service.... but not yet! Frustrated!! I have a special needs child in my home, laundry is a must! Given the COVID situation this year, laundry mat has not been the best option!!....really frustrated!

They missed the appointment window (8AM to 5PM) and reported that I wasn’t at the house when they tried to show up. I was home all day, they did not come. There was no call, no email, and no text message prior to them making this claim. Repeated calls to their call center were met with promises for call backs that never came, assurances that someone would be by, and the same claim that the tech tried to show up but nobody was home. They don’t care about you or your business, use literally anyone else before trying them.

The repairman called and said hes be here in 20 minutes, showed up 35 minutes later. He was here for 10 minutes, turned the drum of my washer and said its your bearings. Did not pull the washer and check to be sure. Said its probably about $1,200 to fix. Checked the pricing, said yep, $1,200. Then left. I was not satisfied with the work. Cost $129 for 10 minutes and Im not positive that diagnoses was correct, because he didnt even look!

Work was done fine and quickly. Problem was the bill. After inspecting the unit we were given an estimate of $249. As soon as work was completed (the same work as the estimate) we were told I made a mistake, it is $$329. Said nothing could be done about it. We paid, since we were staying at a relations home and they were out of town. I think a refund is appropriate even it must come out of technicians check.

The repair guy from Sears didn’t even attempt to fix my washing machine. Just looked at it, wrote up a $400 estimate for repair and said he couldn’t come back until over a week later. I HAD to pay them $89 for the service call so I basically paid them for nothing. I called a local repair company the same day and they came tHe SAME day, fixed it within 10 minutes and I only paid them $95. Total rip-off using Sears. I do not recommend. Support local businesses and do your research. Lesson learned

Sears need to train their customer service department first and foremost. I had to wait over a week for my washer repair man. Then it was scheduled for an afternoon repair which I took off work and waited and no one showed up, so I called the service department. They said he was there and argued with me saying he left a note and emailed me. That was NOT the case. There was NO note or email. Instead of accommodating me they said I would have to wait ANOTHER week for the service man to evaluate the problem. So now its been 2 weeks without a washer.When the service man arrives he say he has to order a new part and can return in another week. Now 3 weeks and more time off work.Unfortunately for you, we own a Building Company and property management company where we have always bought Kenmore products. I have advised our purchasing department to stop any Kenmore product purchases. Having this long unnecessary inconvenience is something our company and our customers will not tolerate.

I will never call them again. This was the stereotypical experience that one imagines when price is going to be much higher than should. I have had other appliance repair charge me the service charge which included minor repairs. Once appliance is taken apart, they would replace part with labor only being the service call. Last time the tech switched ice maker with old fridge I had in garage charging me only the service call since it only took about 15 minutes. But SEARS!!!!! Actually took apart fridge, told me problem was only a few minutes to fix. I had the part already that I bought online. But tech put refrigerator back together, then proceeded to tell me it would be $330 to take it back apart and fix it. Plus another part was needed that was $28 on his phone. So I was paying about $300 for 15 minutes of labor??? Part of labor was taking apart what was just put together?? Sure tech himself was OK and was just following SEARS ripoff policy. But I will certainly never call them again!!

The technician said nothing could be done. I find that hard to believe. What is happening with my dryer is that moisture leaks from the bottom of the door and lint develops all along the base of the seal that is inside the door. So I have lint build up on the seal which I feel pretty certain should not happen. So after each drying cycle I have to use a wet cloth to clean it and the majority subsequently falls below. It is what I feel to be an unnecessary inconvenience. I feel there must be an issue with the seal. The technician said perhaps we overloaded the dryer. It does not matter how much or how little is in the dryer. The problem continues. I have spoken with many of my friends who have dryers similar in design and they do not have this issue. Makes me wonder......

Repairman was on time courteous and efficient. Our mower had extensive damage to steering mechanism and needed several new parts but Kurt was able fix it so we could mow until the parts came in. He gave us a return appointment and ordered the parts which arrived in time. Kurt returned on scheduled date and made repairs as well as complete spring service.He is very profesional and skilled. We will always sale for him for service in the future. Thanks Kurt.

Wish I could give zero stars! Technician damaged my garage door so badly that the door was coming off the track and sections became disconnected not to mention the door was bent the full length of the door. Told me he only works on garage door openers not the doors themselves, left me with a claim number for Sears Liability company. The door was so bad it couldnt even be shut, he left me hanging with no way to protect the contents of my garage from theft as the door could no longer be operated manually. Made it sound like someone else would be coming out to help me get it shut. No one ever showed up. Reached out to the liability company and they said they only determine who is at fault they dont payout even it Sears is responsible. Cant even get Sears to come look at darn thing to determine if it can be repaired or requires replacement. Customer Service just keeps passing me around from department to department but no one is really helping me. They said the technicians manager has 24 to 48 hours to contact me almost 72 hours later still havent heard from him. This is horrible customer service. I have had to call my home insurance company so they can fight with Sears on our behalf and so that I dont have to wait until god knows when for Sears to make it right. Sears you have lost a loyal customer.

We had a crack in the plastic cover from the door handle to the control buttons on our Bosch dishwasher. The person we spoke with said cracks arent covered unless they are a hazard, but suggested that we take advantage of the free annual appliance service that comes with the extended warranty. The technician who came out for the service saw the crack and recommended replacement for safety reasons (he was right, it could have broken at anytime exposing wiring). He ordered the part and came back a week later to fix it. Everything was done politely, professionally, with no mess or bother. Great service.

We have a Frigidaire dishwasher. The repair man was good and courteous and did the best he could, but unfortunately the problem is something that is very difficult to discover. The dishwasher leaks periodically. We have already replaced the kitchen floor and now the floor is ruined again. Since this problem will continue, can somebody tell me what to do?

My Sony Bravia just wouldnt power on. In my moment of disbelief I called Sears and scheduled an appointment. When the Technician arrived he was very honest and helpful, explaining every action and even showed me where the issue was. Normally he said a part would need to be ordered and it could take a week to get it but he said he maybe could fix it himself. 10 minutes later and a lot of mumbling from the Tech, POWER!!!Awesome job.

HORRIBLE. The technician NEVER showed up. We were given an 8-5 PM window and last night received a call advising we were the first stop. Upon logging in online this morning, the time window stated 4:30-6:30. My husband called them and they then changed it to 3:30-5:30. At 4:54 PM the tech advised he was in Stephens City en route and would be at our home in 20 minutes. At 5:47 PM my husband left him a message since it had been well over 20 minutes. NO returned call. I called the 800 number at 6:16 PM and they had no answer for me and said they would contact dispatch, who may not be able to reach me until TOMORROW. I logged in again and it stated the technician arrived at 6:19 to our home. I then called the Winchester number and was advised the tech claimed we were NOT home. Oh but we were home and he NEVER showed up. DO NOT recommend these incompetent imbeciles to anyone.

Sears repair system is poor. It used to be good, but has gone downhill. I never recieved the promised text, giving me a smaller window (having someone wait from 8 to 5 is unacceptable). The emails gave conflicting information (one had the correct appliance, one had the incorrect appliance). When I called to get it straight, the Sears rep was useless. Worst of all, even though I reported exactly what the problem was, the repairman showed up without the necessary parts. Now we wait a week for a return visit. I wont be buying from Sears again.

The technician that serves our area of West Virginia/WInchester region is excellent. The Sears appointment and online website for communication was very difficult. Once I spent the hours that it takes to make an appointment that would accomodate both repair and maintenance (the website will not let you do that), I was very pleased with the knowledge, promptness and work of the technician.

The refrigerator repair lasted 3 days and broke again. in the last 3 weeks we have had to call for repairs 3 times because the refrigerator is not cooling. today when I called in the woman said she would fix it what we had to do was lower the freezer temperature 2 degrees and up the refrigerator temperature 2 degrees and wait 5 hours. It DID NOT WORK I am guessing her shift ending before that and she did not want to listen about my complains of the refrigerator not working. it the past 4 months the refrigerator has quit working 4 times. and since they give you a time for repairs between 8 and 5:30 this has involved 5 days of annual leave. do not go to sears and buy a refrigerator. I did not want to give it one star but would not let me post it. shame they did not have a negative star.

A total rip-off! When making the appointment on line, I mentioned the problem and also over the phone to a representative. I said it seemed to be the dryer sensor as the timing seemed to be off (i.e., time jumps from 35 minutes down to 17 minutes instead of consecutively counting down minute by minute, then time jumps from 15 up to 37. It just seems like the timer is all over the place. Yet when the repairman arrived, he said that is how the sensors work on the Whirlpool dryers and said he was surprised that no-one had told me that. Therefore the service man did not check out the dryer. I mentioned to him that it has been doing this for the last 2 months, but I never noticed this happening within the first 12 months, only recently with the past couple of months. Since I ended up paying for the service call plus taxes ($83.00) for the service call with no actual work performed on the dryer, I asked if he could perhaps vacuum the lint from the dryer. I clean the lint filter myself after every single load, but did not have the proper tool to reach further. He said it did not need vacuuming and that I could go to Lowes and buy the proper device for cleaning the lint. He said that I could purchase a certain brush or a device that can be placed on the vacuum cleaner. As far a complying with your request in rating your service, I say it was a rip-off as no service was provided. I understand that I had to pay for the service call regardless, but the dryer was not even serviced. Being retired and on a fixed income, I felt that I just threw my money away and will think again before I call for service from Sears.

Not satisfied with the refrigerater annual service. The repairman did nothing in the way of service. I asked about cleaning the coils and was told they are encased and cant be cleaned. I asked about cleaning the water tray where the ice and water comes out and was told it cant be removed for cleaning. He did not clean any dust underneath with a vacume. He did nothing whatsoever. I would like another different repairman to come and perform an annual maintenance service which is included in my warranty which expired two days ago.
