We have had a wonderful experience with everyone at Hanger in Wilmington. My son has a cranial band, and Matthew, as well as the support staff, have all been great to work with. They are incredibly kind, and willing to go the extra mile. Unfortunately, we are moving and have to change clinics, but I cannot recommend them highly enough!
Had to take my daughter to get some insoles made for her feet. Seen rather quickly but almost too fast if that makes sense. They did an awesome job and will be back to get another set made. Also got a cash discount. How awesome is that???
Got shoes & brace for my foot,,now I need a new pair of shoes, wearing the same pair, day & night24/7 over 4yrs agoVery polite totally the guys are great too!!
Had Achilles removal surgery and replaced Achilles with fhl tendon which usually works the big toe. Never realized how much the big toe helped with walking. Since this condition made me walk with a limp, I needed something to augment the loss of my bit. After doing much research Matt Murphy located a brace that worked wonders. Its shaped like the artificial limbs you see on runners who have lost their legs. Not only did this improve my walking ability by 100%, it also aided in the buildup of whatever muscle was still present in my non-Achilles heel. Dont know what I would have done without the brace. Thank you Matt.
In 2014 my nuralogest Dr he sent me here so i could get a brace for right foot they were very nice, helpful too mmee and i been re-fering my family & freind all time
I dont think they beleive me when I still have some pain. I wont be going again. and the same nurologists too. you are disapointing
Today I had an evaluation appointment for my daughter, I called because we were stuck in traffic and would be about 10-15 minutes late. The representative on the phone, was extremely rude and told me that my appointment was at 3,, not 3:15. (what I was told when I made the appointment weeks earlier). She said my daughter would not be able to get seen, because we were late, and the dr. had an appointment at 4. I felt as if they were not understanding, or willing to work with us. We drove over an hour to get there, and we were in the parking lot, 10 minutes after our appointment time, and they would not see us. Then the lady on the phone said that it would be pointless for my daughter to get seen because the child has to be 5 months in order to get an evaluation. This made me even more furious, because when I made the appointment with them over the phone, weeks earlier, they NEVER mentioned this age requirement. They knew my daughters age when I made the appointment, so they should have known that she was not 5 months old yet. They could have at least mentioned this rule, and I would not have bothered making an appointment. I then spoke to the dr. of this Hanger clinic, and he said the same things. He asked who the dr. was that referred me, and I said no one, that I self referred. He said that he normally only sees patients that get a dr. referral. He again said that my daughter had to be 5 months old, and then said that we could discuss my concerns about my daughter over the phone. Which I personally thought was unprofessional. He then said that most likely my daughter did not have plagiocephaly, even though he has never seen her, and the only information he knew about her was that she was diagnosed with torticollis, and plagiocephaly. I also think it bad business to have age requirement rules, and things of this nature, but not post them to the website, or have representatives knowledgable of them. I am extremely upset with this Hanger clinic, and will not, ever go here again. I thought they were extremely rude, and not willing to work with us. I will be paying out of pocket for my daughters helmet, and from what I have experienced with the Hanger clinic, I WILL NOT ever be doing business with Hanger again. The dr. I spoke with was: Matthew Murphy.
