I love, love, love this place!!!It was so so good to see Bill, Tam, Tammy and my boo Theresa!!! Always time and money well spent per the usual.I was a bit hesitant with getting designs since the Rona changed my nail situation. Per the usual Theresa was ready with a solution and we collaborated on this amazing design.This shop would have to close permanently before I ever change nail salons 🖤🖤🖤

I usually love this salon but my most recent experience made me not want to return. I love the male who works there but this time this lady who did my acrylic set 1.did not listen to what I asked to have on the design, overcharged me, and did not use enough glue. My acrylics usually last at least two weeks before a refill and today my nail fell off four days after getting them. I’m extremely upset because On top of them not being the right design/color, I’m missing a nail. Very disappointed by this service.

The owner always makes sure youre happy and satisfied with them. His employees are professional the place is clean and theyre usually booked so make appointments early.

Tam is excellent. They do the best work hands down from nails to feet

They stay busy... so I try to go during off peek hours (while everyone is at work) or make an appt for the weekend. Teresa does an awesome job with chrome gel nails and I always get a ton of compliments! For me they last at least a month.

Awesome salon! Extra precautions during Covid are excellent. Made an appointment for brow waxing, was in and out in 10 minutes. I dont get manicures regularly, but the ones Ive had from here were excellent! This will continue to be my go to place!

I’ve been to quite a few Nail Salons in the Claymont area. I want happy at all with the 4 that I went to. Did a terrible job, cut me, were Unprofessional, not clean,,,I was very happy with Star Nail Salon! They were professional, kind, did a Great job! They were happy!I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good mani or pedi. Give them a 5 star!!

Horrible and would never return. Walked in and was immediately greeted. Signed in and picked out get color. The 1st lady led my daughter to chair to remove gel then started another customer. After 30 minutes a gentleman started to help my daughter then his appointment arrived and he left her. 10 minutes later I was informed that another staff would finish my daughter. That particular staff was still working on a customer and the customer still had to get waxed. Now 45 minutes later and only her gel polish was removed. I paid for the polish removal and left. My complaint is if you know you have appointments then just say sorry we are busy have a nice day. I would have appreciated that then waiting 45 minutes.

I absolutely LOVE this salon! This is a Hudsons ran by a beautiful family. Everyone is courteous, helpful and accommodating. The salon is always CLEAN and they truly are all about healthy nails vs fads. Dont get me wrong... they have artistry, but healthy nails are the focus. I recommend calling ahead to make an appointment, as doing so will tremendously lessen your wait. I love this place!👍😍

Love that they really go by appointments.. my 2nd time there and was in the chair getting my service at the time of my appointment.. I continue to be shook by that lol Tam is super sweet. I got dip powder for the first time.. came out great and shes the 1st person to do my brows in a good 5 years. Ive gone to the same person prior and I love how she did them. The whole experience was pleasant. Lots of safety measures in place because.. Corona. Plus the place wasnt crowded anyway so it made for a comfortable experience. I live near the philly airport but this is my go to nailery moving forward.

Would high recommend Star Nails & Spa. Professionals (artists) who are dedicated to providing excellent service. Make you feel comfortable there - down to earth folks, too, who are fun to chat with and very personable. Very clean and sanitary. Have amazing artistic skills when it comes to detailing your nails. While I have NEVER had a problem, I believe they would handle any issue in a prompt and professional manner. You can tell customer satisfaction is their goal. Good business ethics practiced at Star Nails & Spa. They know what theyre doing and do it well.

They always do a great job! Never any issues. Even took my bff there and she said she never had a pedicure last as long as when she gets her toes done there.

Always friendly relaxing atmosphere. Staff is great in technic and caring. Theresa will make you laugh. Lookforward to my time there.

Very disappointed! My daughter goes here and she recommended it to me. I called yesterday, July 26th and asked if I needed an appointment for a full set. I was told I could just come in without an appointment. I drove from Newark only to be told (rudely) that they were booked and couldnt fit me in. So, from the time I called and drove there which was about half an hour, they amazingly booked up and I only saw 2 customers there and no one waiting. Thats not very good customer service. I found another salon down Philadelphia Pike and they were great!

Do yourself a favor and make an appointment. Unless you get there are the right time as a walk-in, you will be waiting a LONG time. I went in at 2:30 on a Sunday (thinking that was plenty of time since they close at 5) and I waited until 4 p.m. before I gave up and left. Not one employee acknowledged me the entire time. I sat waiting and everyone who came in had an appointment. The owner kept telling people they close at 5, over and over. I wanted a pedicure and a gel fill and that would definitely take longer than an hour if done right - so I left. I was afraid that they would rush me through since they had to close at 5. I never felt so unwelcome in any establishment as I was sitting there for 90 minutes. I am sure they are good for people who go there, but I definitely will not be returning.

Very friendly staff! Got my first ever set of acrylics here and I plan to go back for my next ones! I think they rushed a little because we were there until a little after they were supposed to close, but I like the quality of my nails :) My boyfriend got a pedicure while he waited for me and he loved it!

They make u feel very welcome here on your first time even with no appointment. And my pedicure came out pretty and was relaxing throughout the whole thing. Cant wait to go back

Very professional, quality work with good customer service. Everyone at this salon is so nice. Appointments arent required, but I recommend making an appointment to make sure you can get in. Can take about 2 hrs for a gel manicure and pedi, so make sure you give yourself enough time when scheduling your day.

Jenny is my fav nail tech I have ever had. After constantly being disappointed at other nails salons in the area, I have finally found one that I will never neglect. Jenny is a perfectionist and wants to make sure you’re happy! ***MAKE SURE YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT THOUGH***

Omg the worst service....I was told about this salon from another salon I went to. They said that this place is racist. I was desperate this Sunday morning to get my nails done. The place I usually go to was closed so I decided to call this place to see if they were open. The gentleman that answered the phone said yes we are open so I went by thinking I could get service. First of all when I pulled up the open sign was off. I walked in and seen there were two customers getting their nails done. I mean come on I have been getting my nails down for years so immediately the guy asked if I had an appointment.....I said no so another guy said I’m booked for the rest of the day. Honestly I thought I could possibly wait for service but that wasn’t even a option. I hate to use race as an excuse but clearly I wasn’t welcome here. I will never come back and I will definitely let people know about this place.

Amazing place, clean with friendly staff. Ive been getting my eyebrows done there for months now, Im very picky about my eyebrows one bad wax could ruin everything, but every time theyve done an excellent job. I highly recommend Jenny or Tammy. I wont go anywhere else.

Awful experience. There were 4 staff (not working) in there and they had to go and get someone who was on break to do my nails. She came in on the phone and continued talking on the phone for several minutes as I just sat at her table in front of her. She put her phone down and was laughing at a meme and I got up and left. Rude and unprofessional!
